Service was a little bit slow but didn't mind to much since we went for a date night. Loved the environment and loved how I could have a conversation and not have to yell to be heard. Will definitely be going back
Great portions, good food and wine list, excellent service, best Italian restaurant in Albuquerque.
Everything was excellent. It was my parents first time but it won’t be their last. They loved it!
very nice restaurant with amazing food and staff, we really enjoy going there
Excellent menu, very authentic food, very well prepared, lots of food, plenty for leftovers. Great cocktails and wine list. Will return soon!
Me and my friend drove clear across town after making reservation as this was the only place open late. When we arrived, 20 mins before the last seating, the door was locked and when an employee leaving accidentally let us in by opening the door to exit, we walked in. Well, needless to say we were rudely turned away and told that they didn't see our reservation because "we made IT for 9:45pm AT 9:45pm. This was blatantly untrue as we had made the reservation at the hotel which I had before mentioned, was clear across town( about an hour drive). What a terrible way to treat someone. It was unbelievable.
Trombino’s is sometimes very good. Other times very ordinary. This visit was just bad.
There were 4 of us. None of our meals was even good. Dried out dish. Pasta without any seasoning. Bland tomato sauce that was paste-like. The chicken dish lacked flavor. We have been eating there for years, but we won’t be back. We want to support local places, but this was not the first bad meal.
Great food, huge portions and great service!
Great service from our server. Truly the best experience we’ve had in a long time. Thank you for a good anniversary day.
For a special Easter/birthday dinner, we drove three hours to reach Trombinos and it was worth it. Service was both efficient and friendly, ambience charming, the wine list extensive, the food delicious and the portions substantial. One of our party has gluten intolerance so the multiple GF options were much appreciated. We plan to return!
Excellent Italian food, tasty and well -prepared. We had reservations and were seated promptly, and our server was very good. Altogether an enjoyable dinner.
Our reservation was fairly early on a Saturday evening. We arrived on time and were seated. I ordered the spinach lasagna. After waiting about half hour, the waiter came back and said they had run out of spinach lasagna about 5 PM. WHAT?? How could they be out so soon, and why did the waiter not know that when we ordered? That is the second time that has happened. Do they think maybe that could be a sign they need to make more so they don't run out, or else take it off the menu? At dessert time, we ordered the Brownie Delight. Again, we were told that they had run out. So we ordered another dessert item. Again, none to be had. Is there a purchasing/planning problem at this establishment? Running out of menu items once is understandable, but four times seems excessive.
Restaurant has a very extensive menu and the food is prepared very good. The wine list is very extensive. They prepare dishes that none of the other restaurants do.
I had the beef raviloi in a tomato sauce that was very tasty. My wife and son had the seafood pasta with large chunks of scallops and shrimp. Trombino's has a very extensive wine list to choose from and priced accordingly. It does get a bit noisy when the place is busy. Salads are extra and not part of the main entrees, so be aware. They do serve a nice warm bread with a herb plate to mix with Olive oil as an appetizer. Parking is a bit of a problem but they did have an attendent directing traffic. ADA parking is limited, so you may have to drop off your party at the front door. All in all, it was a pleasant evening with good food and drink.
Great food, and a great way to spend the evening with my family. I knew that it would be a little pricey for my large family, but even spending a good amount was quite worth it. My only problem was that my own plate was a little room temperature, while everyone else's was perfect. Meatballs were delicious, and marinara was to die for. Tiramisu was not available, so I was a little disappointed with that as well. Overall, best Italian we've had in a long time.
My family and a couple of good friends took my wife there last Saturday to celebrate her birthday.
Service was outstanding, meals were delicious, however, if you select the stuffed pork chop, which was delicious along with the sides, ask for "moist" (it was a bit on the dry side.) I will definitely order that meal again.
The restaurant was packed, but we were seatted at an alcove table, and it was like ee were the only people there.
Highly recommend it. It might not be a Friday night family dinner out, but most certainly once a month.
Tip well. These people bust their butts!😀
One of our favorite Italian restaurants. Best veal piccata in town. Consistently great food and great service.
As always everything was great. Trout almondine perfect, husbands Lasagna delish. Great wine selection & service.
Good Italian food, in a very nice atmosphere. We will be back.
Trombinos has a great atmosphere. The servers are all friendly, prompt and very warm. The menu is has great variety, and every entrée I or my friends have had have been outstanding. It is a fun place, with great food,
We had a nice dinner, service was a bit rushed but prompt and respectful.
OMG! Sooooo gooooood!!! The best italian food we've had. The veal parmesean and the spaghetti marinara is to die for. We absolutely love the bread. Dipped in olive oil and oregano. Oh!! Mmmm. Mmmmm. We have already highly recommended Trombinos to our family and friends. The ambiance was really terrific and so comfortable. Havent eat here? Definately put on your to do list.
Great menu selections. Just disappointed that the pasta on both our meals was undercooked. We didn’t complain because there was plenty to eat besides the pasta.
I was t expecting the decor to be Italian-New Mexican so didn’t have traditional feel of a more romantic updated setting.
We were just passing through Albuquerque so I can only say it was okay.
Trombino's has a highly trained staff and delicious, well prepared food.
The Lasagna is the best in town!
Good food and service. We are seriously considering having our Rehersal Dinner at Trombino’s.
I love that we can come to this Italian restaurant, as a gluten-free and onion-free family, and order foods that are safe to eat, deliciously prepared and not get looked (or treated) like we are from the planet Ork. The service is amazing and they are quick to get you seated.
I ordered the fruita de marre and received 3 clams and 3 muscles. That is unacceptable Will never order that again.
The food was excellent. Great wine selection. Enjoyed the dinner experience.
Trombino's Bistro Italiano delivers again! We have dined at Trombino's many times, and this was one more great experience! Our waiter, Fredrick, was very engaging, but not overbearing. Both the gluten free and regular meals were very good! I would not hesitate to recommend Trombino's!
We had reservations at 7 with 6 adults and 5 kids. Three of them in high chairs. Thomas was great as a server, food was top notch. We were there for a 1st bday party. All the staff was great.
Best Italian in Albuquerque. Great food, service, and drinks.
Service was excellent. Food is alway great. Atmosphere is always lively.
We've been to Trombino's before and loved it! Great atmosphere, our server was outstanding, very funny and great attention. One of our group had the Veal Parmigiana and it was a thick coating and the veal was tough - veal is not made to be tough and should be thin and not thick. the other items we had were good, but not outstanding as before.
I went to this restaurant for the first time with my girlfriend for our 1-year anniversary. I am a vegetarian and eggplant lover and enjoyed the eggplant parm very much. We got the combo fritia mushrooms and zucchini appetizer and it was deep fried deliciousness and more than we could finish! Pass on the garlic bread as the free bread provided is better. It was good for people watching from our central table. The service was excellent and the prices for elevated dining were reasonable. Oh, and the dessert menu will leave you with a very hard choice because all of them sound great!
Excellent. Good food and service. While on vacation in Albuquerque a tourist center recommended this restaurant.
Trombino's is always at least good. Sometimes, as on our last visit, no place anywhere could be better. The kitchen was on point with our order, the portions generous, service by Adrienne impeccable, charming, and gracious.
very chill, but didn't care for the water falling from the roof. Service was great and the food was good as always
Many good menu choices (food & drink), but I keep choosing the Chicken Involtino lately. Very busy on Friday evenings. Parking can be a challenge, but it's worth it.
We had a reservation for 5:30 pm and we were seated immediately. Our server was courteous, friendly and attentive. Our appetizers were brought out pretty quickly and our dinner soon after. The food was amazing! The whole experience there was superb. We'll definitely make our way back there again.
Hadn't been to Trombino's in a while. We had the best meal in the many years that we've been enjoying. Truly spot on!
