We haden't been to Triumph since it moved to the old post office. It's a very different vibe in the upstairs dining room. Very quiet, great light coming through the window that looks out on Palmer Square, comfortable seating. Our server was responsive and helpful but not overbearing. We had beer and a cocktail - both good. Oysters were good with a raspberry mignonnette that was very good. My husband had the squash blossems which were over fried and a little oily. His main course was ravioli with a mushroom sauce. It was very tasty but the sauce was too thick. I had the buratta and a salad. The buratta was served on toasted brioch and a cranberry jam. The buratta was too cold so it was more like mozzarella and not soft. The salad had odd greens that reminded me of watercress but a lot of stems. For desert we had berries with marscepone. It came with toasted pasta sprinkled with cinammon surgar - very tasty. It was a very relaxing dinner that could have been super with a few adjustments. We'll come back again and try the bar room downstairs.

We had tried a few times before to get into the new Triumph location so we were very pleased that it was easy on a holiday weekend. It has been a very long wait since the Nassau Street brewery closed. We were a party of six. We shared the duck egg rolls and burrata on crustini. Both appetizers were had a great variety of flavors both spicy and cool. My Monte Cristo was good. There was a $3 upcharge for fries so it cost $22 for a sandwich, really pushing the limits of an acceptable price for pretty basic lunch food. My husband had the duck entree. He was very pleased with the flavors. I tasted the meat and found it to be very moist and flavorful. The burgers, pastrami sandwich and salad were all reported to be very good. We enjoyed the Vienna Lager, Hazy IPA, Princeton Pale Ale and Blonde Ale.

Upstairs is a wonderful high end upgrade of the historic post office. Beautiful and well done. The food was fabulous. Downstairs is a more traditional basement brewpub setting. We will be going back.

Second visit was first rate. Same waiter who was nice, knew the menu and offered some wonderful suggestions. Food was exceptional including the filet, rabbit as well as starters. The potato wrapped shrimp were outstanding. We look forward to our next visit.

This lovely restaurant continues to be one of our favorites in Princeton! The owners were meticulous in their preservation of the gorgeous post office which was once on that site. The food is delicious and the servers are extremely pleasant. Doug was most helpful with drink and menu suggestions!

I have no complaints about the food or service. Both were excellent. We reserved a table in the dining room to celebrate Fathers Day on Saturday evening. I specifically booked the dining room because we were celebrating with family. I was extremely disappointed with the our seating arrangement. While we were seated on the second floor where the dining room is located, our table was in an awkward room behind the bar. The back end of the bar actually took up half of this room. Ruined the experience for us. The restaurant was not particularly busy so I am unsure why our reservation was not honored properly. My suggestion to the Brewery would be to not offer options that you don't intend to honor. Especially when you are imposing a dress code. We might as well have arrived in jeans and dined at the bar.

The jazz band was extremely loud and it was very difficult to have a conversation in the bar area. The dinner table was better but not ideal.
