Awesome dining, walleye was great! Sit upstairs if the weather is nice, it’s a great breeze. Portions could be a bit bigger for the price. Will definitely be coming back!
Mediocre. Reheated frozen calamari. Awful. at least they took it off the bill
Didnt get any bread and waiter barly showed up to help.
Food was good. Nothing special. Service was very good. Nice beverage selection.
Had a reservation and was seated right away. We started by splitting an appetizer & it was very good. Our entrees were very good along with the service. We're going back.
Josh our waiter was great! We had the Brie appetizer, lake perch and bananas foster for dessert. I will definitely be going back there soon. It’s also nice that you can park in the parking structure and not have to pay.
Sunday brunch on Father’s Day was good all around. All six of us were happy.
Triple Nickel...VERY good, as always. Great menu with lots of great choices. Good service, fantastic looking restaurant and LOOKS AS GOOD AS THE DAY IT OPENED! Clean, attractive, eclectic.
Service very good.
Food very good
Value very fair.
The free token parking across the street must be helping......the place was was pretty busy and we were glad to see that!
Excellent meal and service
Food was excellent. A lot of different options. everything we tried was delicious. Drinks were good...maybe a bit too pricey. ($13 for a tequila shot).
Service was exceptional. Entertainment was perfect. Not too loud.
Great service. Great food. Roast Pork Tenderloin. Very good.
Went for the music. Which was great - except for the entire first set being forced to ‘quiet down’ because of a party behind the pulled curtains. The thin crowd was also decidedly older - and emptied out early. Maybe it was just an off night? We would not return for the food - not bad but nothing great.
Sunday was my second time going there for Brunch. They weren't busy so of course the service was good. The food was superb and the bottomless mimosa's were strong. Luv this place
This was our first visit and we were overall pleased. The food was very good starting with my escargot appetizer and was prepared to my preference. Our waitress, an Asian girl (sorry, she wasn't wearing a nametag and I forgot her name) was outstanding. Very friendly and sociable young lady. She apologized upfront that the kitchen was running a little behind and checked in on us frequently. She couldn't have done a better job and as a diner I appreciate that kind of service. The atmosphere was great but we were sitting right under a speaker so I found the music a tad loud. Overall I would rate my visit a strong B..tweak the food a bit (seasoning of salmon) and you will continue to thrive
Overall very nice experience. Table #45 helped with the ambiance and noise level. The food and service was very good.
Can’t comment on the ratings I gave this place because
We have been to Triple Nickel numerous times, and we're never disappointed. We've tried many of their offerings, and always enjoy them. Normally, we'll go for fish, but this time I ordered the Beef Short Ribs; thought it was a little pricey at $29, but that's not far off from other restaurants. The portion was both plentiful and tasty. My wife had the Pasta Bolognese, and she loved the taste. Brought friends who had not been there in a long time, and they, too, were impressed.
Our server was great and you can't beat the setting on the upper deck when the weather cooperates.
What a great night! Our meals were outstanding, perfectly cooked and delicious. We had excellent service. Our first time at Triple Nickel, and we will definitely be back.
For the past 3 years I’ve attended the Mother’s Day Brunch. This year i wasn’t as pleased as the times before. The food was cold, some food was never replenished, and just overall the experience wasn’t as great as usual!
The Mother’s Day Brunch was fairly good. I was expecting more, but the meal was fairly good. The ambiance was nice and the atmosphere quiet and a bit quaint.
Very nice lox platter, but no bagels. They brought out cream cheese, when I asked for it. Just surprising that they didn't have bagels and cream cheese on the buffet. Eggs Benedict were nice. The egg scramble was good, if you like green peppers (which I do not). The French toast was very good and the glazed ham was fantastic! Pastries and desserts were a bit disappointing. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a very nice Mother's Day brunch experience!
We were seated up stairs next to a door that everyone open and walked through. It was freezing. The food was barely warm. I do not think I would go back. It was a brunch buffet with very little breakfast foods.
Food was good. Service was subpar- our waiter forgot to get the appetizer. Ribs were cooked to perfection
The staff was amazing. We had one server for a party of 19 and Vasili was amazing! All orders were correct and the food was amazing! I will be back!
Overpriced and small portions. $23.00 for a tiny piece of salmon. Not worth it.
First visit for us. Great Food and Service! Will be back again.
Mom's birthday. They didn't offer dessert or anything. We were upstairs near the door. People would smoke outside so when the door would open, the smoke would come in. Ruins the dinner in my opinion. It was ok. Not bad but not the best either
Meet ordered the seafood pasta, it came so salted we couldn’t eat it. The manager came out and offered a free desert. Didn’t want a free desert just wanted the seafood pasta to taste good and taken off the bill. It was an odd experience.
My overall opinion of the restaurant is high. My husband and I enjoyed the energy and feel. I have no complaints about our server and we even received a couple of cheerful visits by who, I presume, was the manager on duty. As for the food, I ordered lamb chops, which were delicious (although a little fatty), the asparagus was great, but the mashed potatoes were a little on the bland side...nothing a little salt couldn't fix. My husband was not 100% pleased with his filet mignon and fried-like potatoes, but he is very particular...just wants quality to match value. In his case, it didn't. BUT, we'll likely give Triple Nickel another visit.
We went to the triple nickel for Easter brunch! They had a buffet and we got mimosas! It was great. Will come again!
I chose triple nickel based on a previous experience, which was very good. I don't think they are the one to go to for brunch. Very sparse selection. NO bread products....bagels, muffins, toast, etc. I was looking for a "vehicle" for the smoked salmon. No butter for the french toast. Not any attention to detail. What WAS there was tasty, but not hot. Server was pleasant and efficient.
Lots of menu variety, nice atmosphere somewhere between a sports-bar and an upscale restaurant.
Love it there. Comfortable, great service and consistently good food.
I am not typically "picky" when it comes to restaurants, but this was the worst meal I've had in a long time. In our group of 4 , we were all disappointed with our meals, which were very bland unappetizing. This looks like a fine place to come for drinks with friends, but we will definitely not be returning for food.
Celebrating a birthday; came for the frog legs - which 3 of 4 dined on. Awesome! One of the best places around for great frog legs. Atmosphere was good with a comfortable ambiance, and quiet noise level (we arrived around 8p).
Food, atmosphere, and service exceeded my expectations
We went for brunch and found the menu to be somewhat limited although there was something for everyone to order. Our party found the pancakes were not restaurant quality, skillets okay but the omelet was very good. I like my toast well buttered but found the toast and english muffins to be saturated with butter --- waaay too much. The ambiance was great, the staff friendly and we were all intrigued by the dinner menu and nightly specials. We are all looking forward to our next visit, but it will be for dinner!
The food took way too long to come out and it wasn’t hot. The music was too loud. I didn’t care for their Sunday brunch menu options either.
