This place is always great. The food is amazing.
We sat at the bar and Marty waited on us. She was so great, gave us time to visit and relax with a glass of wine. This is our favorite restaurant downtown...we enjoyed it so much we took our cousins from Texas to lunch the very next day!!
Great place next to downtown Las Vegas, It has a variety of options that were able to accommodate everyone in our large group. The bar is huge and they have an excellent drink menu. Our servers were great and the manager was very friendly, This place is pumping make sure you make a reservation.
Was my girlfriends birthday and made that note when booking the reservation. I snuck away to remind our waitress and she was already on top of it! My first time and loved everything about Triple George. Can't wait to go back soon!
This was a return visit and we were not dissapointed, food was exceptional, moderately priced and delicious. Service was efficient but discreet, do not be put off by the drab exterior, the inside is a gem.
This is an outstanding restaurant, such a good alternative to the STRIP. We jumped in a car at Wynn, $9.00 and 10 min later we were there, the food, atmosphere and service are outstanding, and the price, about half. Give them a try, lunch is excellent too, had that the day before..
Very good mean and excellent service!
Delicious lunch options. Vegan and gluten free options. Recommend French dip and chicken with asparagus and Brussels sprouts. Fabulous old San Francisco vibe.
Our server Mo was excellent he read us the specials, gave us suggestions and made us feel very comfortable. He was very attentive even while handling a lot of other tables. Other staff as well were very helpful and courteous. Sorry the food look so good and it was...I forgot to take a picture before I ate but at least I remembered in the middle of my meal.
Great food, great happy hour And they serve up a nice steak. You don’t even need a fork! Best meal in a while. Highly recommend it
Also has a cute cozy feel. Very old feeling
The wait staff was marginal. Our waiter was clued in on a birthday and was set to bring the restaurant dessert used for such an occasion. After dinner, we were presented a dessert menu and he took orders without seeming to remember the birthday. After dessert, the house cake with candle was presented... The service overall was in line with that.
Wife & I went to Triple George for her birthday. We are locals & enjoy it every time. Went for a birthday lunch. Mentioned it when booking the reservation on Open Table. Never had to mention it at the restaurant. Our waitress, (Page), knew and wished her a happy bday & after our awesome meal brought her a delicious little chocolate cake with a candle & sang Happy birthday to her. Very nice surprise & appreciated. Wife ordered the Filet mignon which was cooked perfectly. I ordered the Pot Roast. (Do every time.) Great food & service every time.
We celebrated our wedding here with our family and friends. The food was amazing and everyone is still talking about how good theirs was. Our server Derrick was very knowledgeable and friendly. All of our food came out timely and hot. We will definitely be recommending Triple George and plan to come back ourselves.
My wife's brother was in town and we had tickets for a show downtown. We were looking for a place to have dinner and remembered Triple George's from a previous visit. The food and service were both very good and pricing was very reasonable. We would certainly recommend Triple George's to friends and family.
The best restaurant in downtown Vegas. They really understand how to give great service and the food is fantastic.
Excellent food and service! Will be back soon! Great downtown vibe.
Our dining experience was top notch! We highly recommend Triple George if ever in Vegas or venturing downtown...you won’t be disappointed!
Always love Triple George! Fabulous atmosphere- old vegas vibe & outstanding menu!
We went there for their very expensive Thanksgiving dinner. The first appetizer was disgusting - squash bruschetta, which sounded good, but the squash was hard and unripe - basically flavorless, with awful texture. So the waiter very kindly offered us the special deviled eggs. They had been sitting out for hours and had the texture of rubber. I wanted to invite the chef over and dare him to eat one. Before we could leave the waiter brought the butternut squash soup, which was good, but not great. The special drink was okay as well, but we invested our entire evening on this place, and our appetites were ruined. There are too many excellent restaurants in Vegas to give this one a second chance. And I am definitely not picky. This is the first bad review I have left anyone ever.
Great evening. Nadia was a fabulous server and lots of fun!
Triple George Grill is my very favorite restaurant. The best service in Las Vegas. A gem of downtown. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.
Simply put anytime downtown Triple George is an excellent choice for a bite to eat. It is my go-to before or after a show at the theater
Went during happy hour but happy hour was only at the bar and not the dining room. Felt like bait and switch
Enjoyed our visit. The steaks were tremendous and the service was very good. We will go back
Three of us enjoyed a delicious meal. Excellent food and pricing. Easy to get to. Looking forward to going again!
Family get together. It was awesome. My 90 year old mother even ate. Which is rare.
Had the shrimp risotto and spicy shrimp and scallops with linguini, excellent! Waitress was fantastic too.
The oysters seemed like they had been sitting out as they were room temperature. Our main dishes were average at best.
Had a dinner date here prior to a concert at the Smith Center. We were on a tight schedule and told our waiter so. After seating us and taking drink orders, he disappeared. We had to ask the manager to find him for us so that he would take our order. He was behind the bar, chatting it up with other waitstaff. When he finally came over to take our food order, it was so late that we could only order salad. The salads were okay, nothing special. The good news is that we did make it to our concert on time. Do not recommend.
Excellent food and service! We loved it! Prices are way better than the strip too!
We are locals in Las Vegas and have heard good things about this restaurant. Making reservation via OpenTable was easy. It was a Saturday evening, and we were brought to a table in one of the main dining rooms. Not sure if this happens a lot, but there were 3 large tables next to us with people celebrating birthdays and cheering for a sports team, etc because it was louder than any sports bar I have been to, and we cannot hear what the other person was saying just sitting across the table from each other. Even the waitress had to stop her food introduction many times because the noise was so overwhelming. We were expecting a more upscale place to enjoy our alone time away from the kids. I ordered the ribeye steak they were famous for, and my wife ordered the spicy shrimp pasta. Food was good, but they were on the saltier side. Their specialty drinks were okay.
The TVs in the dining room was showing football games. So it got loud.
I chose this location because they had an overall good selection of food. Everyone in my party ordered meat and it was delicious. Their salads were wonderful too. Their featured dessert of pear pastry was tasteless and not worth the calories. The Chocolate cake with chocolate sauce and chocolate ice cream made up for it.
We have eaten here several times, our server Derrick was overloaded with large parties. This was not his fault he was running like a mad man, management messed up by not having enough servers to take of the several large parties that were there. like always the food was great, it arrived at the table quickly and very hot. and was delicious. The only issue was Derrick had an issue with a big party just finishing up and the other large party was getting their food at the same time leaving us sitting after finishing our dinner for about fifteen minutes, at which point I called a manager over to order dessert and bring us our bill and get us up and moving. (After we're in Las Vegas) Other than being under staffed it was a great dinner and please understand this is not the norm but just not their best night. Triple George is a fun interesting place to eat and enjoy the more interesting people of downtown Las Vegas.
Always good food, good service, nice Vegas atmosphere. A very dependable restaurant that is a quick Uber ride away from The Smith Center.
My favorite restaurant in Las Vegas; better food and price-value than any restaurant on the Strip. Ambiance of NY and San Francisco sophisticated neighborhood restaurants and watering holes. It has a varied menu that includes large steak and seafood diners as well as classic American dishes, such as meatloaf, pot roast and pork shops. The lightly grilled vegetables are fresh, not over cooked and well seasoned. The elegant woodwork of the long bar greats you as you arrive and sets the tone for the establishment. The wait staff is professional and know their food and drinks; don't hesitate to ask your waiter for a recommendation. The specials are great for those looking for an unique, large dinner.
Valet parking is free across the street at the Grand Casino. Perfect place to start your evening if you are attending a performance at the Smith Center. Be sure and look in at the Hogs and Heifers biker bar next door; it adds color to the neighborhood. Locals: Let's keep this restaurant our secret.
Great overall experience. We had dinner before a show at the Smith Center and the service was great. Had the beef carpachio which was delicious and the signature cocktails. For dinner we ordered the petite filet, which was cooked perfectly, and the porchini rib eye. Unfortunately the rib eye was actually cold not room temp... Cold when it arrived at our table instead of the medium rare we ordered. Once it was sent back it arrived properly cooked and hot on the exterior. Since we had time constraints for the show we didn't order dessert, but enjoyed our cocktails and meal.
I've dined here previously and was very satisfied with food and service.
I came back to this excellent restaurant for more of the same.
As usual, everything was fantastic. You can't go wrong at "Triple George". The Bone In Fillet was one of the best steaks I've ever had. That says a lot as I eat quite a bit of steak.
Annual Dodger/Giant dinner bet outing again worked out great. Thank you for accommodating our group. Food was very good as always although server was just OK. Maybe new.
