Three of us enjoyed a delicious meal. Excellent food and pricing. Easy to get to. Looking forward to going again!
Family get together. It was awesome. My 90 year old mother even ate. Which is rare.
Had the shrimp risotto and spicy shrimp and scallops with linguini, excellent! Waitress was fantastic too.
The oysters seemed like they had been sitting out as they were room temperature. Our main dishes were average at best.
Had a dinner date here prior to a concert at the Smith Center. We were on a tight schedule and told our waiter so. After seating us and taking drink orders, he disappeared. We had to ask the manager to find him for us so that he would take our order. He was behind the bar, chatting it up with other waitstaff. When he finally came over to take our food order, it was so late that we could only order salad. The salads were okay, nothing special. The good news is that we did make it to our concert on time. Do not recommend.
Excellent food and service! We loved it! Prices are way better than the strip too!
We are locals in Las Vegas and have heard good things about this restaurant. Making reservation via OpenTable was easy. It was a Saturday evening, and we were brought to a table in one of the main dining rooms. Not sure if this happens a lot, but there were 3 large tables next to us with people celebrating birthdays and cheering for a sports team, etc because it was louder than any sports bar I have been to, and we cannot hear what the other person was saying just sitting across the table from each other. Even the waitress had to stop her food introduction many times because the noise was so overwhelming. We were expecting a more upscale place to enjoy our alone time away from the kids. I ordered the ribeye steak they were famous for, and my wife ordered the spicy shrimp pasta. Food was good, but they were on the saltier side. Their specialty drinks were okay.
The TVs in the dining room was showing football games. So it got loud.
I chose this location because they had an overall good selection of food. Everyone in my party ordered meat and it was delicious. Their salads were wonderful too. Their featured dessert of pear pastry was tasteless and not worth the calories. The Chocolate cake with chocolate sauce and chocolate ice cream made up for it.
We have eaten here several times, our server Derrick was overloaded with large parties. This was not his fault he was running like a mad man, management messed up by not having enough servers to take of the several large parties that were there. like always the food was great, it arrived at the table quickly and very hot. and was delicious. The only issue was Derrick had an issue with a big party just finishing up and the other large party was getting their food at the same time leaving us sitting after finishing our dinner for about fifteen minutes, at which point I called a manager over to order dessert and bring us our bill and get us up and moving. (After we're in Las Vegas) Other than being under staffed it was a great dinner and please understand this is not the norm but just not their best night. Triple George is a fun interesting place to eat and enjoy the more interesting people of downtown Las Vegas.
Always good food, good service, nice Vegas atmosphere. A very dependable restaurant that is a quick Uber ride away from The Smith Center.
My favorite restaurant in Las Vegas; better food and price-value than any restaurant on the Strip. Ambiance of NY and San Francisco sophisticated neighborhood restaurants and watering holes. It has a varied menu that includes large steak and seafood diners as well as classic American dishes, such as meatloaf, pot roast and pork shops. The lightly grilled vegetables are fresh, not over cooked and well seasoned. The elegant woodwork of the long bar greats you as you arrive and sets the tone for the establishment. The wait staff is professional and know their food and drinks; don't hesitate to ask your waiter for a recommendation. The specials are great for those looking for an unique, large dinner.
Valet parking is free across the street at the Grand Casino. Perfect place to start your evening if you are attending a performance at the Smith Center. Be sure and look in at the Hogs and Heifers biker bar next door; it adds color to the neighborhood. Locals: Let's keep this restaurant our secret.
Great overall experience. We had dinner before a show at the Smith Center and the service was great. Had the beef carpachio which was delicious and the signature cocktails. For dinner we ordered the petite filet, which was cooked perfectly, and the porchini rib eye. Unfortunately the rib eye was actually cold not room temp... Cold when it arrived at our table instead of the medium rare we ordered. Once it was sent back it arrived properly cooked and hot on the exterior. Since we had time constraints for the show we didn't order dessert, but enjoyed our cocktails and meal.
I've dined here previously and was very satisfied with food and service.
I came back to this excellent restaurant for more of the same.
As usual, everything was fantastic. You can't go wrong at "Triple George". The Bone In Fillet was one of the best steaks I've ever had. That says a lot as I eat quite a bit of steak.
Annual Dodger/Giant dinner bet outing again worked out great. Thank you for accommodating our group. Food was very good as always although server was just OK. Maybe new.
2nd time visiting Triple George's and It was just as good the second time around. Always great service and wine list is top notch.
Excellent dinner. Steaks were delicious, and the pasta dish we had was so tasty. I definitely will be returning!
The food was good but our service was terrible. We waited almost 20 minutes before our waiter approached us.
The Triple George is just like the Tadich Grill in San Francisco, but they take reservations. The decor is very comfortable and service is professional. I recommend the cioppino, but you can't go wrong with any choice.
Great dining experience thanks to Mo our waiter and his recommendations
wait-staff attentive food excellent wine list good great experience
So good. Went for my wife's birthday while in town and we were not disappointed. Had the lobster ravioli and it was incredible.
My husbands pork chop was delicious and he is a tough critic!
This little gem is just off of Fremont Street and was recommended to me to try. I would not consider it upscale or just a sports bar. Very quaint and comfortable. As you come in you will see a very long bar with t.v.s above....you can eat/drink at the bar, or you will be taken to a dining room. Service was outstanding. Complimentary bread basket while you look over the menu. My friend and I shared the mussels in a creamy sauce that my friend drooled over and sopped up the sauce with her bread. Delish! We both had the Caesar salad and I requested fresh anchovies which they had!! I ordered the Spicy shrimp/scallops linquine which was also prepared to perfection! My friend and I split the bill which came to about $50 each including tip! I thought it was a great value and would highly recommend! My compliments to the Chef(s)!!!
Attentive servers. Food was great. Will definitely be back.
Our third visit and enjoyed it as always. Great to get away from the strip and enjoy Fremont Street District music and the people watching after dinner.
Really disappointed! I've been here twice before !! Loved it !! Celebrated my husband s b day and everything...... This time the service was AWFUL... Our waiter had 0 experience !! The steak and lobster was average.. potatoes cold , lobster tough! I was back for a romantic special anniversary dinner ... And it was not romantic or special ! I'm sorry but I will not be back ! 😢
Food and service were great until the bill came. We waited a very long time for the waiter to take our payment. We had to ask for him twice before he returned to the table.
Loved the food, atmosphere, and service! Solid old school Italian/seafood restaurant!
Recommended by a friend at home in Ireland - we weren’t disappointed! Highly recommended- worth the taxi ride downtown.
Disappointed on two issues. One: the service was over aggressive. We were trying to make a special night and take our time but the servers would come by every couple of minutes and ask if we would like to order. I felt extremely rushed. Second on Open Table I said it was a special occasion, a 25th birthday celebration for my son and his girlfriend. I asked if you would provide cupcakes or something for dessert. No response and no cupcakes. Server was clueless. What good is putting this on open table if you are not going to reply or provide the requested items. It was very disappointing.
Our group was visiting Vegas, since we had been to Triple George’s before we decided to give it another try. We were seated promptly. Our waiter was very nice the food as amazing as we remembered. We will be back on our next visit
Went with group of 7 for late lunch. My cauliflower dish was amazing. Rest of group enjoyed their French dip or chicken sandwiches. Great service and great prices.
Our waiter was knowledgeable, efficient and was thoroughly familiar with the menu. Booth made conversation possible in energetic atmosphere.
Food was very good, service was not. We were stuck in what felt like a back room despite having reservations. We all enjoyed our food but the wait was long and we had to ask for cutlery twice, the runner was surly, the wine took too long to come, and it was just generally irritating to have to keep asking for things. Maybe they were short staffed but no apologies or explanations were given. I’m sure they can do better, would give it another chance. Once.
This is our only must visit restaurant when we are in Las Vegas. We never miss an opportunity to visit Triple George and enjoy a terrific meal. We bring anyone traveling with us to this restaurant and everyone loves it. The meals are delicious, generous and well priced so we always have a great experience. We will continue to visit the Triple George everytime we come to Vegas. This restaurant on its own is reason enough to make the trip from the strip to Fremont Street.
While the name may be deceiving, this is certainly not your typical “grill” type restaurant!!! Delicious food! Will definitely be back!
Had a great experience, Mallory and Jack the manager were awesome with customer service.
