Triple George Grill Ratings and Reviews
A wonderful experience as always- calamari was flavorful and fresh, martinis were very good, cioppino was brimming with seafood goodness and well worth the price, the boyfriend had the NY Strip and liked it a lot. We had coffee after dinner and it was strong and freshly brewed. Service was friendly and prompt. Dining at Triple George is always a pleasure and we've never had a bad meal or experience here!
We were vising Vegas from Toronto and chose the Triple George for a friend's milestone birthday celebration. Everybody absolutely loved the experience all the way from the outstanding service, great drinks and really really excellent food. I cannot say enough about how much we loved it. Everyone wanted to go back.
I am sincerely in awe of this restaurant. A group of 6 people and everyone enjoyed their meal. That is unheard of. My mushroom ravioli was mouthwatering. I'll definitely be ordering it again. My dad and sister both loved their mini filet mignon. Cooked just how they wanted it. The salmon that my mom and her friend ordered smelled delicious and they ate every bite.
We had an absolutely horrible experience at this restaurant. I will never go back. We used to enjoy this restaurant as it was one of our favorites. I am not quite sure what’s happened to the management or if it has changed. I put in a special request for a nice table as we were coming for my best friends wedding. I had requested a nice table, semi private and that we were celebrating my best friends wedding. They sat us right next to the bar. It was extremely loud. It took the waiter over twenty minutes to get us our bottle of wine we ordered. Our meal took over an hour to receive. The waiter never cleared one dish from our table. It was cluttered with our bread plates and appetizer plates. After we ate half our meals because everyone was too tired to finish, the Manager came over to ask us how our experience was. We told her our complaint and she didn’t do a thing. We asked her for boxes for the rest of our food and the check....that took over ten minutes. I wrote the managers of the restaurant to explain my complaint and they did absolutely nothing. What was suppose to be a joyous experience ended up being an awful experience. It would be different if this was an ordinary day. I can’t believe the way they treat their guests.
We have been to triple George before and had a
Wonderful experience so we wanted to bring some friends to triple George the food was very good but the service was not very good once they took our order the waiter didn't come back to fill our water or check to see if we needed anything else so that part was very disappointing.
My wife and I have eaten at this location once before a few years ago. While the service was professional and friendly, it was rather slow and the noise level was deafening. My wife and I could not carry on a conversation nor could we hear the most basic of comments from each other without shouting at each other. My steak also came to the table burned black and it was obvious the cooking staff just threw it on the grill and ignored it. I could tell that the quality of my steak would have been very good if they hadn't incinerated it and my wife said that her lamb chops were very good. If you want to have an intimate/special dinner and some conversation, I would not come here.
Had dinner here our first night in Las Vegas. We both had the chop and thought it was very good. The mashed potatoes were magical, maybe the best I've ever had. Cocktails were tasty and the service was friendly and attentive. It's a very handsome room as well. This whole block of bars and restaurants along with the Downtown Grand is fantastic. This is what Fremont street should be like.
First time at this restaurant . The ambiance was quiet and relaxing inside. We were initially seated outdoors but there was loud music on the bandstand outside the restaurant. The service was excellent , prices reasonable , great presentIon and flavour of the food. The swordfish and blackened salmon were delicious !
This visit for our 41st anniversary was much less fun than our 40th. From the start, the road in front of the Downtown Grand was closed for a biker convention, so getting to the parking structure was a challenge. The convention generated a lot of noise. The last visit we were seated in a booth to the left of the bar, which would have been very noisy from the festival. This time we were seated at a table to the right of the and to the back of the restaurant. Still very noisy due to the large party (10-15) bikers at the back of the room. My table was backed by the buffet that housed the service utensils and required me to turn my chair to the left to seat myself rather than pulling it out. (I am not by any stretch obese).
To get to the issue of service. It was quick, efficient and completely without any personal attention. Took our drink order, took our food order ,took our money, goodbye.
As to the food. My wife ordered the petite fillet cooked medium. It arrived more to the well side, which made it a little tough. I ordered the rack of lamb medium rare and it arrived as ordered.
We both had to take exception to the “chef recommended” accompaniments. If the chef recommended steamed broccoli, carrots without any seasoning and totally unexceptional mashed potatoes to go with $35+ dinners, I recommend he relinquish. his culinary degree.
