Formerly know as King Street Trio, TRIO Restaurant is a part of our evolution.

Visit our rejuvenated dining room & experience the best Waterloo Region has to offer. Chef Kyle and his team have been dreaming of ways to excite your palate! From Wagyu beef to the freshest fish & local produce, to our multi-course Tasting Menu, we are thrilled to have you back. Benoit, our restaurant manager, continues to build a wonderful selection of wines from around the world, with particular love for France. Wine pairing is offered with our Tasting Menu or just chose from our consignment focused wine list. Most of our wines are unique to our venue.

Theme nights are offered every two weeks on Wednesday's. These fun & flavour filled nights create an experience that will take you away from France to Mexico to Italy. Our theme nights are available for you every other week on Wednesday's.

              Trio is a nice surprise. In a city that is limiting fine dining options, Trio fills this void. We selected Trio to celebrate my daughter’s graduation and we enjoyed the experience. The service was great, atmosphere was modern and warm, and the food was innovative with many taste surprises. Our dinner rounded out a great day.

              We had a wonderful dining experience to celebrate our anniversary. We attended the Tasting Tuesdays event, and we were graced with a phenomenal 4 course meal, exemplary customer service and loved the personal touches of having a custom menu wishing us a Happy Anniversary, along with a complimentary treat to finish off the night.

              We had an unforgettable experience. Everything was absolutely wonderful — from the ambiance to the last bite. The service was impeccable, and the attention to detail truly elevated the night. A special mention to the manager and sommelier, who went above and beyond to make our evening exceptional. The food?               Excellent meal to celebrate my son’s birthday. They had printed custom menus for us, which was a delightful touch. We were wonderfully served by the manager who gave great tips on choices. The food was really good too, and presented well. Overall, an excellent way to spend a special occasion.

              Our favourite restaurant! Have spent a few family birthdays and our wedding celebration here. Always 10/10. Unfortunately, tonight’s Paris themed night felt disorganized and the food was very disappointing. The dishes felt extremely basic and the veal was luke warm inside. We were also frustrated by the wait time in between each course. Considering the price, this meal left us frustrated and feeling as though we had wasted a significant amount of money on what was supposed to be a birthday experience. We’ve had so many fantastic experiences here and I would like to think this was a fluke, but due to the high price and very low satisfaction, this course left us feeling ripped off.

              They clearly make great food! I just wish the vegetarian options were more creative. It’s always some form of mushroom + pasta + cheese. I wish they would be more creative and feature lovely seasonal vegetables.
