This was our first visit to Trio following some good reports from friends and neighbours. We were very impressed with all aspects of our visit and we will be back. Young staff most attentive

What a gem!! A great welcome, brilliant friendly service and excellent food! The decor was perfect and the ambience was buzzing. We'll definitely be back ... SOON!

We had ham & mushroom pizza which was tasty, perhaps a little salty and we would have liked the option of regular pizza dough as well as sourdough. We also had a sea bass dish which was excellent with great tasting mash and perfectly cooked green beans. I would have liked the option for more beans to be available rather than just a mixed veg including potato option. I did not ask for this do it may well be available, just not on the menu. To finish we had vanilla and pistachio ice creams - great taste. Looking forward to returning.

I have been to Trio 3/4 times and the food was amazing! Not sure I’ll go back had really gone down hill. There was only our table of 4 and one table of 2 yet the food took ages to come even pasta with sauce for my 1 year old grandson. Had to send a meal back that my mother had eaten on other visits she said it was so different and didn’t like it at all! The waitress was great an immediately ordered something else but this took a long time and when it came we had all finished. Went there for my birthday for lunch. Previously the restaurant has been really busy. This time no atmosphere. Be a shame for Trio not to get back to ware they were saffron Walden needs a lovely restaurant

Very responsive, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Quick service with well presented food. Food would stay hot longer by using pre heated plates. The special tiramisu seemed rather lacking in flavour to both of us. We will visit again
