I checked in with my name and reservation time and have a receipt to prove it — apparently they did not check my reservation as there — got a notice saying I never showed up.
Over all it's a good experience, but the noise level seemed unusually high this visit.
Excellent in every way. Great food, incredible value, wonderful service!
We love the pris fixe dinners. The skirt steak with chimichurri sauce is to die for and the ceviche appetizer is crisp and tart. We will definitely go back!
A friend and I had an early dinner (4pm) to beat the crowds downtown. I had a simple ahi tower (ahi, avocado and mango) and she had a 3-course prix fixe dinner. We each had a glass of wine. The service was attentive and friendly, the food was good.
Consistently good. Great salads and apps. Casual, reasonably priced and fun. Plus, you can eat here when a lot of places are closed - during that 3-5P time. Enjoy it every time we go.
We had dinner on our last night visiting Palm Springs for Modernism Week. We always like a special meal at the end of a trip, and Trio didn't disappoint. The food was tasty, there was a decent wine selection, the price was very reasonable, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
Had a delicious meal at trio!! Started with handmade potato chips which were delicious and calamari which also was great. I had the chicken Marsala which was superb. My husband had pot roast which was so good --flaky, tender, yummy. My son had roast chicken which was also very good. This place was packed on a Tuesday night. Kind of loud but a fun vibe. Definitely would recommend for a great dinner spot.
Absolutely loved Trio. Food was fabulous. Visiting Palm Springs and would recommend this restaurant.
Overall, we really enjoyed Trio Restaurant. I had the prime rib which was a little tough. Though I have to say everybody else’s meal was great. The waiter we had was fantastic, but the noise level was really loud. We would go back again.
took are friends here because we have always enjoyed Trio's. They loved it too. Great place great prices and good food. A bit too noisey.
ONLY NEGATIVE IS THE NOISE LEVEL. OTHERWISE, ALL IS GREAT, ---SERVICE AND FOOD TERRIFIC
Would have given better rating on the food but I had to send the soup back 2 times as it was only luke warm. When I got the last bowl it was not any hotter and the waiter never came back to ask me. Good size portion. Soup did not really have much taste.
I saw reviews of Trio so we gave it a try. First thing is parking is fierce. Try to go early and see if you can get a spot in the lot behind the restaurant. Service is attentive. Food was good and the place is vibrant. On weekends and holidays they have specials such as a bottomless champagne for $15.
We just wanted something quick and delicious. Trios always fits the bill.
Really inconsistent food. I took my family who were visiting. The mussels must be pre-cooked and heated because my sister's serving had ice in it. My brother got the tuna tower and marvelled that it had exactly zero flavour though it looked great. Sole dish and shrimp linguine were wonderful. Wedge salad came dripping in dressing. I have enjoyed Trio in the past but it is not worth the hit or miss menu to bother going back.
I have wondered about Trio for years but never ventured in. Figured we would give it a shot.
Food was great. I had
I love this place – it was so friendly. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the place felt lively, yet intimate for our date night! I definitely would return. Also, the wines were affordable.
Very disappointed! I had a reservation for 3 for a Birthday dinner. The restaurant was not busy but some how we were overlooked for any type of bread nor were we asked if we wanted any. We ordered our meals a short time later two appetizers arrived with the statement that had run out of the third request. Why were we not told that as soon as the order was placed in the kitchen? We had to eat the apps as they were "supposed to be hot. I say "supposed" as they were at best warm. We finished as the third app arrived. Then the dinner came and my order was wrong so back to the kitchen it went once again the others were nearly done when mine arrived. The waiter never came by ti apologize or see if the other dinners were OK. He avoided us like the plague. It was only when he brought the check did he give a halfhearted apology. He knew we were regulars and whether or not we were he should have tried to smooth things over.
I love trios I usually go after work we are an Baby boomer age couple I just felt the servers were rushing us thru after work I just want to relax and enjoy the food ......
Great ambience and what a fun place to have dinner.
Good value too in the lounge and patio during Happy Hour!
The prize fixe meal choices were great and delicious. Good value. I definitely would return.
Outstanding food and service quality for a restaurant so orange.
Delicious fare, amazing service, and great energy!
It was our first time, absolutely loved it... all of your employees were very attentive with us. Made us feel special... pass on the “thank you” to your Friday night crew...
All four meals were decidedly mediocre and that coupled with the loud noise made for a somewhat unpleasant experience.
Good food and a great value. Only criticism involves the length of time it took to get our waitress to return and noise level in the restaurant.
Excellent as always! I favorite amongst us locals!
Great place. The patio was nice for watching the world go by - just on the edge of downtown. Service was friendly and quick. My tuna tacos were fantastic - and a happy hour price.
Our server Jason was helpful and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the special halibut, we have enjoyed this restaurant many times and we're happy to visit again after the fire they had last year.
