Trio is known to be one of a small number of go-to restaurants for brunch in Palm Springs. We decided to go there after being away for quite some time while it underwent repair after a fire. Its appeal is the vibe from everyone watching and discussing buff wait-staff in close-fitting T-shirts and Sunday was no exception. But our waiter failed to warn us that the chilaquiles made an incomplete meal without the add-on chicken or pulled pork. And then trying to track him down after delivering our order to complete the meal was a hat-trick. Advice: Don't go for brunch, go for lunch or dinner.

Good food at a reasonable price for the location. The restaurant was VERY full this evening so the noise level was high. But still a great evening.

What a nice find during our all to brief trip to the valley. We found there were enough choices for our group to enjoy something different we hadn't had at any other restaurants in the preceeding week.

Our server was very upbeat and very helpful helping us select appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. Food was prepared well and offered enough flavors to keep each bite exciting.

Consistently good "American comfort food" in a lively atmosphere. Great craft cocktails, too.

Terrific meal and some very nice choices. Very attentive wait staff and just lots of fun. Noise level (dinner) was pretty excessive and made it hard for much communication.

Frozen sole was tasteless, overdone.
Apple cobbler consisted of a microwaved dish of sliced apples in a sugary sauce.
Server offered a discount but we declined.... not returning.

We love Trio. When we have visitors, Trio is a must. Great service, excellent food and their early dinner specials cannot be beat. Definitely a great choice for casual dining with friends as well as for special occasions.

The restaurant was very crowded and noisy - with several large parties. Our first server was
overwhelmed, but Jason came to the rescue and got our orders into the kitchen and out to
our table. I sent my order (Australian sole) back because it was cold. They reheated and got it
back to the table quickly. Again, kudos to Jason for jumping in and taking good care of us.

The tables are so close together, and the noise level so high, we left immediately. If you are interested in carrying on a conversation, this is not the place for you.

This is a very happening scene and if you want a table, you should make a reservation. We had a great time catching up with friends even though the noise level can be intense at times. The food is really good and the staff always seems really happy. They are on it and take care of anything I've asked for.

We enjoyed everything about our evening at Trio.
Corner booth away from bustle.
Good waiter.
Innovative menu.
The tofu ceviche was VERY tasty, & not too spicy.
The squash ravioli in sage butter was delicious.

The highlight was a caramel (or butterscotch) pot a creme--divine-velvety but not too sweet.
We'll be back soon.

I have been to Trio many times -- and just introduced my son who is moving to the area. The meal was, as always, great and what a value! I also had the "Marilyn" cocktail (strawberry) and quite lovely. Great wine list. Good food options and three courses for $19.99 -- can't beat it. All in the vibrant center of Palm Springs.

We were attending the Palm Springs International Film Festival and had a dinner break. We decided to check out Trio as other was a festival sponsor. We made a good choice. Everything was top notch. The menu had food for most every taste and the service was excellent. We will be back to try other items. It was a very nice experience and worth a return visit.

Trio is always a favorite when in Palm Springs… The cashew chicken salad is exceptional especially with the shredded carrots accoutrement.

Had dinner for the first time and had an exceptional meal, the salmon was perfectly prepared, and the wait staff were very accommodating .

I recommend trio for both lunch and dinner.

Trio is a good “go to” when you’re in the search for plenty of food at a fair price. I was there at 9PM. Not many folks there but it was nice to be in a quiet setting for conversation. Otherwise, it can be noisy. Very active bar.

After hearing good things about this restaurant I finally made it there on New Year’s Day and was quite disappointed. Brunch for all five of us was over-cooked, dry & not flavorful. Wait staff was decent, but not great. Refills for coffee and second cocktails took longer than necessary. Frankly, I won’t be back... Sorry!

We were told by other friends that dined here this same evening that there was wine and champagne included free of charge with the pre-fix menu for NYE. However we ordered a bottle of wine and were not only charged but not ever offered the wine that would have been included nor were we offered the champagne. If you are going to offer something , make it available and not just “if they ask for it”. I’ve been here many times and generally am very happy but I feel like I was taken advantage of here.

New Years, full capacity as expected, not as well tuned or food as good as last year. Soup was a bit on the tepid side, Steaks and Lobster seem like they had been pre-cooked and sitting a bit as plated food was a bit cool. Only the potatoes were a little warm. The food runner was a bit confused in serving plates. Yes, i know it's New Years but last year was so SPOT ON, we were hoping for the same. Will return again but maybe not for New Years.
