TRIO Ratings and Reviews
I love Trio and have dined there many times. This week I treated my friend for her 75th Birthday and thought it would be a good choice since she had not dined at Trio's for several years. We both ordered the Cobb Salad and while it was good, it did not seem quite as good as I remembered. We asked for the salad to be chopped and mixed and it did not arrive quite that way, but I did tell the server not to worry about it. The salad seemed to be missing something. We both thought it should have blue cheese on it, which is common for Cobb Salad, but apparently Trio's does not serve it that way. Overall a nice lunch, good wine and she loved the gift! I will definitely come back to Trio's.
it was happening for a Thursday night! went with some girlfriends, and was caught in a HUGE traffic backlog... our server quickly brought me a glass of wine. Didn't catch his name but he was really good. We had the cauliflower app, rich and relish! ( toast points seemed stale ). we each had salads, the dressing on my salmon salad was tasty, and for a $1 ( wasn't informed about the surcharge but it was well worth it ) subbed goat for feta, and had spinach salad added!! nice ambiance to get a good meal and catch up with good friends!
This was my first time having brunch at Trio's. It was excellent! The Eggs Benedict were cooked just right, and the side of potatoes were the best anywhere. Our waiter was very attentive and listened to my friend's explicit directions...and delivered perfectly. Even she was blown away! I will definitely return for brunch, as well as for lunch, which I've had there many times. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The restaurant is comfortable and seating is spacious enough to allow comfortable dining. The service is well trained and professionally handled by a pleasant wait staff. The diners are more mature and a courteous, respectful crowd. Food is very good and served in a timely manner. All in all, I would say that this is one of Cincinnati"s better eating establishments.
I’m not sure if I’ll come back here for dinner. Service was pretty bad. I think our waitress forgot about us and took a really long time to take our order. She then got my husbands order wrong. They still left my meal at the table, while taking my husbands wrong order away. Im not even sure if the waitress apologized. She left us with one meal at the table. We didn’t want my meal to get cold. We picked at my meal which was almost finished by the time my husbands meal came out. It wasn’t the nicest dining experience.
Pretty busy for a weekday lunch...kinda of loud...so not best if you want to have a serious discussion...loved the beet salad and the waitress offered to split it w my guest....I was perfectly and well presented for a split dish! My guest loved the pizza crust...the best she ever ate!
We went to celebrate a birthday. The food was excellent but the service went down hill in a hurry. I dont think our server did more than drinks at the start since we never really saw her again. Our family now has a running joke since we asked more than 5 separate times if we could get a bread refill and never saw one. The dessert took about 25 min to arrive after apologize and management was kind enough to take it off our bill.
I've gone to both lunch and dinner here and been very happy in the past but it wasn't the best experience to show off the restaurant to out of town parents...
