TRIO Ratings and Reviews
Trio has been my go - to restaurant for years. The menu & service is always consistent.
With that being said, my last visit was a little disappointing. I ordered small side salad and requested blue cheese dressing on the side : it was served with ranch. I ordered the beef sliders from the appetizer section : MEDIUM - they were served well done. I’m not sure what was going on in the kitchen as the restaurant was not overly crowded for a Tuesday eve. Perhaps short staffed? Our server was excellent. I would still highly recommend Trio. They just had an off night.
I have eaten at this restaurant for 30+ years. The food is consistently good, and I appreciate
the warmth, ambiance, and wonderful service which the restaurant provides. The owner tries to accomodate his customers as much as possible. If you have a request for something you especially like, that is no longer on the menu, he will try to grant your request. He seems to stay
visible when he is at the restaurant to get feedback on what customers may either like or what
things may be improved. I had French onion soup and a Cobb salad, asking for no bacon,
extra avocado, and a different dressing on the side. No problem. My mother had a cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious, and the portions were more than ample.
Been going to trio for twenty years. Always good. Management always viable and hands on, friendly and welcoming.
Service excellent and a good value. The ahi tuna is one of my favorites. The meatloaf great. Miss the mushroom ravioli . Wish that we're back but plenty to take its place. Fish ways cooked to perfection.
It was our first time at Trio and we enjoyed all of it. Despite it being New Years Eve, parking was adequate, we were seated on time, and the wait staff was attentive without being overbearing. We both had the filet special and it was prepared as ordered -- medium for my wife and medium rare for me. Overall, we would recommend Trio to others.
We had an early New Year’s Eve dinner. We both tried different entrees—the lemon chicken and grouper on spaghetti squash. We ordered the half portion and a side salad. Both of our meals were delicious and we had more than enough to eat. Our server Bill was excellent— very attentive.
Absurdly loud. My wife and I were seated in the back, next to three large group tables. We could not carry on a conversation for the noise. It was extremely unpleasant. Plus, our waitress was actually at our table too often, which became an interruptive presence.
Food was good, but waitress was either misinformed about ingredients in the special of the day (told us NO mushrooms - my son hates them - but it was loaded with mushrooms) or the chef changed his mind. Either way, not a good experience. And, it was an $18 Philly Cheese Steak SANDWICH. Expensive.
There are many reasons Trio has been around (and successful) for so long. Aside from the excellent food and service, they accommodated my large family group (with food allergies and a small child too) perfectly. I would recommend Trio to anyone with no hesitation.
We usually love Trios. But Christmas Eve is not the night to go. We were by the kitchen and next to a party of ten very loud people. Our waitress kept complaining about how tired, busy and over booked they were, while giving us poor service. My dinner was under cooked, a result of them being too busy to cook it properly I guess. I’ll never go back on a holiday. To add insult to injury, our bill had an automatic 20% tip added. She did not deserve it. Lesson learned.
