    We had an excellent dining experience at Trillium. From a draft Guinness to an amazing Cobb Salad and perfectly prepared steelhead our meal was superb end to end. Our server Mo was charmingly friendly, knowledgeable about our dairy and gluten allergy limitations and prompt in every phase of meal service. We would definitely recommend!

    Updated review. Trillium reached out and really made us feel like our comment was taken seriously and they helped make the situation right. Service might have been subpar during the meal, but they made up for it 10 fold with their efforts and communication. Really looking forward to going back next time we are in the area.

    I ordered pork cheeks and it was not as tender as I expected. It needed to be cooked longer!

    Hi Susan, I'm very sorry you had a poor experience during your recent visit to Trillium. We've investigated this and made adjustments. It does seem a small amount did not braise as long as it should have. I wish this hadn't been the case when you dined with us but I'm afraid we do make mistakes. Did you happen to mention the issue to your server? If so did we go above and beyond to correct things for you? I hope we took the appropriate action to remedy things before you left.     My husband and I enjoy upscale dining in Boise 2x per week. By far you will get the best food, ambiance, and service here. The crab salad, and the special- salmon with roasted veggies was to die for and you can make it it healthy too by asking to have sauces on the side. As a dietitian, I enjoy fine dining without feeling gross afterwards. Trillium satisfied both plus our server was so enjoyable! Swimming pool sized wine pours! The complementary valet was a bonus.

    Amazing food….unfortunately we waited 35 min for our drinks. Our food came at the same time as our drinks. It wasn’t very busy either so I was surprised. Our waiter was very pleasant but forgot filling our waters and sides sauces. We had to remind him. Great food though.

    The restaurant ambience was not as nice as most other high end restaurants. We were disappointing that bread wasn’t served prior to the meal. Although food was good, it was just average, at best, for a high end restaurant. The service was excellent. Our waitress didn’t come too often or make herself scarce. We felt she was always available. I would not recommend this restaurant, given the other choices in Boise.

    The food was amazing! Our server Mo was very attentive and sweet. The chef Heather approached us after our meal and talked with us for well over a half hour just talking about the food, life and family. It was so awesome! We even got a few recipes and the Heather even gave us a sample container of the spice rub for the spare ribs (which were amazing by the way). I would say it was probably my best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was so friendly and the food was absolutely amazing!

    Our first time to Trillium was a fabulous experience. Our server from Pleasant Hill was a real joy, wonderful, helpful and friendly. Dinner was delicious, best meal we've had in a long time, can not go wrong with the Short Ribs and Stroganoff. J&K

    Started a little rocky as I felt our waitress wasn’t familiar with the menu and bar beverages, but all worked out in the end using a little patience as she turned out great and attentive. The food was good, brussel sprouts were outstanding. One drawback was that there was only one true vegetarian entree option, which thankfully was delicious according to our vegetarian party member. All in all a nice dinner, would consider going back. Ambiance is just okay.

    I ordered the filet, cooked medium. My steak had zero pink in it when it got to me, and it did take longer than I expected to get it. With that said, I did not bring this up to my server as I didn't want to wait another hour for a new steak. The steak, even though the requested temp was incorrect, was still VERY delicious as was everything else on the plate. The Crab Strata starter is divine. Without question would recommend this restaurant, but would add that you should check the temp of your steak.

    What appears to be an upscale restaurant is more or less just expensive food. They use way to much salt and garlic in their dishes, and this is coming from a person who likes salt and garlic.

    Brussel sprouts were great. The Cobb Salad was terrible and very overdressed. The pizza was supposed to have chicken on it and had VERY little.

    We went there for Father's day brunch. My kiddos had the chocolate pancakes, and my husband and I got the classic. All the components in the food were tasty and I would recommend this item. The only negative was that the wait time was unusually long for breakfast; however, I realize it was father's day. The wait staff was kind and conscientious.

    We love Trillium - consistently good food & service. My only critique for this visit is that our part of 4 was originally seated right next to a looooong table of a dozen+ gregarious diners -- the noise was deafening. Fortunately, the waiter was quick to reseat us -- although initially their solution was to move us just one table over instead of on the other side of the room. Thankfully they were not hard to convince that we needed to be seated as far away as possible. I hope management takes the noise level from large groups into consideration going forward in determining optimum seating options for their other guests. Nothing ruins an otherwise 4-star dining experience faster than not being able to carry on a conversation with your dining companions.

    Perfect dinner with the fam. Absolutely loved everything! Although, I can’t say I was crazy about the tomato ice cream. But everything else was super delicious! If I HAD to make a request for a change, I would ask for calories (and maybe macros) on the menu. Maybe a menu item for people who want a lean meal. But seriously, I can’t complain

    Got in and got our seats with zero problems. Brie was our primary attendant and was very good. The appetizers were tasty, the food was very good, and desert was so decadent. The one thing that seemed missing was our primary attendant seemed to have enough tables where we may not have received our share of attention. Overall, Brie was very good, but there were periods where we did not see her extended periods. Truth be told, we would recommend Trillium to friends who would like a great dining experience.
