Food was really good! The steak I received was slightly overpriced..Very small side portions..Overall good experience though
Awesome birthday celebration
Wonderful service and food was amazing. The bloody Mary was delicious!
What an amazing dining experience. My group was welcomed and catered to. One of us was celebrating her birthday and our waiter went all out to help us enjoy the evening. Just a delight
Enjoyed our meal. Good steak and short rib. Atmosphere and service was good.
Another wonderful Sunday brunch - this time for our 18 year old daughter’s birthday celebration.
Great place for date night!
I had an important business lunch here yesterday and it could not have been better. Atmosphere is nice and quiet and the service was attentive and friendly. This is the best spot in Houston for a business lunch, hands down. Highly recommended. I had a caesar salad with grilled chicken that was excellent.
Everything was awesome especially the service
2nd time here and both times service is terrible. The restaurant was not busy but it takes forever for the wait staff to come around. I like the food but service is just frustrating make me not want to come back.
Our waiter , Edward , was wonderful, thank you!
Took my wife here to celebrate the pending birth of our first child. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great. Our food was delicious and reasonably priced. Would definitely come again.
Fabulous food, ambiance, and service, love the changes, rolls were awesome. Menu is very interesting
The place was beautiful. The service was spot on and the oysters were delish!
Lovely evening with a small group for Houston Restaurant Week. Quiet, and perfect for dinner conversation among friends. Food and service always impeccable. Complimentary valet parking was greatly appreciated- since it was so stormy that night. Definitely will be back.
Dining at the Houstonian is a longtime favorite of mine. The Tribute continues to provide a delightful dining experience. The casual elegance, ambiance, outstanding service along with well prepared and presented food can be counted on.
GREAT for a quiet and relaxing dinner. The food was excellent and the service exquisite. Sitting by the window looking out on the wooded grounds, it is hard to believe you are in the center of an urban area of almost 6 million.
Both my wife’s and my Redfish entree were undercooked and the waiter Jose A showed no concern about it. Desserts were wonderful though.
It's a nice evening out with friends. Drinks were good, food had wonderful Tex Mex influences.
First time visiting since the change from Olivette and did not disappoint. Service was amazing! Food was delicious.
Great food and service. Restaurant Week menu was awesome.
Did restaurant month menu on a Sunday night. Parking was a little confusing as free parking was in a garage at the back. Then follow the signs through the club. Didn't check for valet but might be worth it for first timers. Relaxing quiet environment great for visiting with friends.
I was looking for a last minute place to have Brunch. The menu was limited and the Hotel/restaurant is outdated. I loved the gulf seafood salad. The service was ok, but it could have been better for The Houstonian.
Always an amazing experience at Tribute and the Houstonian.
If you would enjoy a quiet dining experience with perfect service and good food, this would be an excellent choice. Much individual service with knowledgeable waitstaff is also a plus. Cocktails are good and wine list is remarkable. We were there for HRW and enjoyed our meals very much. Will for sure come again!
Outstanding service, very attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent.
Superb meal. Great service. Very quiet- excellent for conversation.
Great business lunch location. Attentive and friendly waitstaff. Scallops and cauliflower were cooked perfectly as was the seafood salad. Comfortable ambience with views of The Houstonian beautifully manicured grounds. Highly recommend.
Everything was great as usual, except the sauce on the red fish was terribly spicy - not edible by those of us who can’t tolerate hot, spicy food. Should have been warned by waiter. Also, the hot spices blitzed my palate for the wonderful Cabernet Vanessa recommended. Tribute quickly replaced by Enter with the snapper which was perfect and delicious.
Impressive. Hidden gem.
Perfect! Everyone loved their food, we could actually hear everyone at the table, the service, professional.
New menu items are nice. Service as always was great.
Outstanding service and food!
Service was excellent and so was food!
We had talked he best experience for Fathers Day! There were 10 at our table, and it was very comfortable and the food and service fabulous!!
I will do this again!
Service was slow
We had a wonderful experience! From the very nice driver who picked me up at home to the excellent waiter (I think Jonathan was his name) and the delicious food.
Service was outstanding!
