   Outstanding service. The chef's tasting menu was supberb! I had two custom mocktails made which were absolutely delicious. Please add mocktails to your menu! I would highly recommend.

   Full disclosure, we arrived 8 minutes into the booking grace period because a prior engagement ran 20 minutes long. The cocktails are midrange priced but limited with four mediocre offerings. The beer is over priced and the selection is poor compared to local competitors. Apps are also limited. The bread was good but we noticed another table received more slices. At 10$ for a bread app I’d expect some portion consistency. The tuna and bone marrow app was very good, but at 26$ the two, sashimi sized slices of tune were underwhelming and, again, value lags competitors. We opted for the steak main. It was well seasoned and the accompanying plate was excellent but the steak (ordered medium rare) was overcooked. One side was heavily charred and stringy, yielding several well done slices. For the price, I’d expect a perfect medium rare, which was our previous experience. In the end, we were rushed out. I can appreciate that they need to pack the place and adhere to their 2 hour time slot but, with 10 minutes in the clock, we were presented with the bill and the terminal with half full glasses of wine. I’d expect 500$ (with tax and tip) to buy more than 1 hour and 40 minutes.

   Sat at the counter and enjoyed conversation with owner/chef. Great way to experience Tribute for the first time. Shared 2 starters, 2 mains and one dessert. All very creative and delicious. Started the evening with a cocktail each and wine with our meal. Will definitely be back. Great addition to our beautiful waterfront.

   Excellent service, including great recommendations by both our server and the sommelier. We appreciated their care and attention to detail. The steak and pasta were highlights. Restaurant was boisterous with fairly loud music.

   Tribute is our new favourite restaurant in Halifax! Chef Colin has been trained at the best kitchens in the world - and brings this wealth of experience to create a unique and incredible dining experience in Halifax. The location is perfect - facing the water and yet intimate and cozy. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Book way ahead of time as tables are hard to come by.

   Very tasty food! The steak came out just as I had seen pictured and was cooked perfectly. Service was also quite attentive. Was a pricier meal but everything we had was delicious! Would recommend for an occasion!
