   The most impressive dining experience we have had in a while. Attentive but not intrusive wait staff. Knowledgable servers, mixologist, and sommelier. Friendly but not 'let me be your friend' staff. Delicious and beautifully plated European sized dishes. Top notch.

   #TributeRestaurant – Halifax Waterfront Kelly and I had an amazing experience at #Tribute on the Halifax waterfront! The vibe is fantastic — cozy sit-down dining and a cool bar where you can sit, watch the chefs in action. The food is absolutely delicious, packed with great flavors, and the service was excellent. Chef Colin, a Halifax native trained in Napa Valley and Bologna, creates pasta dishes that are out of this world. Highly recommend this restaurant.

   Been to Tribute a few times now. There are very few independent restaurants in Halifax that you go to and can confidently say they could they operate at a world class level. Tribute is one of them. Dont get me wrong -it isn’t pretentious or anything like that. The food is just delicious and unique as is the wine selection. The service is run by a tight team that actually cares and it really shows. It’s intimate and fun and right on point. It’s just overall the best “nice dinner out” experience in Halifax. Highly recommend.

   We had a large group, with a few changes to our reservation prior to arriving, Tanner was accommodating and great to work with. Our server Kristie was very knowledgeable, informative and attentive to our large group of 9. She made an excellent wine pairing recommendation. She described all the dishes thoroughly and handled all the questions from the table. All guests enjoyed their meals with a number of our party who had the Tuk Tuk chicken giving it top marks. Ambience was great, on a damp Maritime afternoon, was great to see the harbour and outdoors from the table. We will be back!

   I woke up today dreaming back to one of the best meals and dining experiences of my life! Sitting at the counter at @tribute.restaurant allowed us to watch how much hard work and care goes into every plate the kitchen put out. They answered all of my question and I was in tears laughing at myself by the end of it! We all had the Chef’s Tasting menu and my friend and I had the wine pairings and more laughs ensued as I thought the wine pairing with our carrot salad (pictured) was infused with carrots but really it was made with Sicilian Catarratto grapes 😂 From the moment we were greeted to the moment we left, the staff and owners were all unbelievably gracious, knowledgeable and helpful in our every interaction! It’s smelled so great from the wood burning oven, the food was remarkably creative and delicious!! Loved every bite and every sip. And even have some leftovers today I’m dying to get into!! Great time with great friends that was long overdue!! 🥰

   This is a gem of a place! We sat at the counter so we were able to watch the food prep and interact with the chefs. The quality of the food was fantastic- plating was thoughtful and the service was superb. We found the prices to be very reasonable for such a great experience. We were celebrating our birthdays and were presented with a lovely dessert with candles. The Chef had a bit of wine with us and chatted for a few minutes. This was our best dining experience in Halifax by far!

   A bustling, small dinning room offers a warm ambiance. The staff were friendly, casual and very knowledgable about the food and drink offerings. We choose the tasting menu accompanied by wine pairings. There were surprising taste and flavour combinations with every dish. An amazing experience delivered by a talented staff.

   Great spot for a date night. Very pleasant and professional service. The restaurant feels bustling and successful. The appetizers are good, but you can also share their pasta dishes in lieu of a traditional appetizer. The steak main dish was impressive and delicious. Their wine menu is excellent, but there are no high-end Canadian wines. They might add a selection from Vieux Pin or Hidden Bench to improve it, and consider telling customers they won’t restock American wines.

    Food was delicious, service was wonderful. Sat at the counter facing the kitchen and the staff work together very well and it was great to see how everything was made/organized.
