Tribute is a unique restaurant located on the Halifax Waterfront. Defined not by a specific cuisine, but by a place - Nova Scotia - Tribute sources the best local ingredients to pay homage to authentic, impactful dishes with international influences, showcased through live fire and charcoal cookery in an open kitchen-to-dining room. With a fun and elevated approach to East Coast hospitality, Tribute is open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday, offering a chef’s tasting menu and wider options a la carte, paired with nimble wine and cocktail lists. Menus will change often to highlight seasonal ingredients from Nova Scotian farmers and producers.

    The whole dining experience was very good. Staff were attentive. Timing was good. Food was delicious, creative presentation. Lovely location.

    This was an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant is intimate with a combination of tables and plenty of bar seating to watch food preparation in the open kitchen. The ambiance, service and food were all excellent. The pasta was incredible as the chef learned pasta making in Bologna. I'm sure everything on the menu is great. We can't wait for our next visit.

    This is an absolutely top notch restaurant. Lovely ambiance, fantastic service and most importantly creative, unbelievably delicious food. They think of everything to make your evening memorable.

    Second time dining with the Tribute team and the experience did not disappoint. Food and service is fantastic and the overall atmosphere the staff create feels very welcoming, as if you are dining at a friend’s home.

    This is the best restaurant experience I’ve had in Halifax. I’m honestly lost for words. From being greeted at the door with a warm welcome from the Host to the farewell from Chef Colin, everything in between was spectacular. Thank you to team at Tribute. You are all fantastic and I cannot wait for my next visit.
