Tribute is a unique restaurant located on the Halifax Waterfront. Defined not by a specific cuisine, but by a place - Nova Scotia - Tribute sources the best local ingredients to pay homage to authentic, impactful dishes with international influences, showcased through live fire and charcoal cookery in an open kitchen-to-dining room. With a fun and elevated approach to East Coast hospitality, Tribute is open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday, offering a chef’s tasting menu and wider options a la carte, paired with nimble wine and cocktail lists. Menus will change often to highlight seasonal ingredients from Nova Scotian farmers and producers.

    Great service , food was good but felt like something was missing for the hype. Didn’t feel the wow factor that night but would like to try again.

    The best meal I have ever eaten. It is a taste experience. They definitely go for quality meals not quantity. You will not be disappointed. Prices are fair, compared to the cost of everything now a days. I would highly recommend this place if you want delicious food. The service was amazing, everyone was very attentive. The chef should be very proud of the restaurant he has created.

    A fabulous meal! Dinner and a show at the kitchen counter. I had the chef’s menu and my husband ordered off the menu. Everything was exceptional.

    From the time we were greeted by the host until the time we were escorted to the door by Dave, our dining experience was 5 star! The wines were simply amazing! The food was beautiful to look at and even more delicious. We travel the world and Tribute is Michelin star worthy! So happy that Halifax is making such great strides in the culinary scene! Tribute is the one to match!

    We had a great experience. Seated at the bar in front of open kitchen. Colin (owner/operator) was leading the kitchen staff - what detail in the preparation and presentation!! Some of the best food we have tasted. Highly recommend!
