Tribeton

We had a girls dinner in Tribeton. Our food was very good, everything was fresh and taste was nice. Good selection of wines and desserts. Atmosphere was nice and quite so you can have a chat. Service was fast and efficient.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the weekend. Only draw back was they were out of some of the specials but it was a late meal time.

Fabulous food and setting. First time in Galway and it didn't disappoint.

Booked a table here for Valentines night, the food overall was average. Soup was cold, the steak was pink on the inside & we asked for well done. We waited over 40 minutes for a desert, while servers constantly walked by our table. Cocktails were great though !

Had a booking for dinner for anniversary, drove an hour there. But unfortunately the electricity was out in the city, staff where friendly. We waited 45 minutes and then they closed the restaurant for safety reasons. Would love to have the opportunity to have a meal there.

Can’t truly rate the experience as the power went and we didn’t get to order. Servers were very nice as it was not their fault but management refusing to allow us to even order drinks was very disappointing.

Lovely restaurant,the interiors are beautiful,however I ordered John Dory for my main course and the food was not hot,and was expensive

Lovely meal. Great service. A nice touch was the waitress was able to recommend cocktails for what type of spirt you prefer. Will be back again

Staff were great and really nice and done a great job they are they only thing great about the place, it was empty on a Friday night which is a bad sign, extremely cold, food was awful, should consider a new menu

Jan so quiet in the restaurant. Love the feel of the restaurant. Service a little slow. Food was great.

Goregeous fresh food, service was also very quick. The atmosphere was very groovy, a real rustic/ industrial feel to the place. A great place for young adults to go have a meal and stay for drinks afterwards as after 10 there is a dj and stays open till late. The only downside was I was a little chilly sitting next to the stairs, there was a real draught coming from the door downstairs. Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed it and would 100% recommend to a friend

As always the Tribeton charmed us with its beautiful decor and architecture. Despite the place being big, the room is set up in away that gives you certain privacy. Brunch options were great, also lunch was available already for those of us with a bigger appetite. Only minor issue was that some of us were really hungry by the time the food arrived. Would definitely go again.

I would recommend highly, great service & great food.

We had booked lunch for 2.30pm , we waited 45 mins for our food ! I think that’s too long.

Great booking system and fantastic service on the night with a varied and good value for money menu. Lovely atmosphere too.

My boyfriend and I went to Tribeton on Saturday night after a recommendation from a friend. Firstly, the restaurant itself is beautifully laid out, upstairs loft/warehouse vibes with lights hanging from the ceiling and funky posters on the walls. All the staff we encountered were beyond friendly (in a nice way) and really wanted you to enjoy your evening! I had the 10oz Striploin and my boyfriend had Fish & Chips. We both licked our plates clean. The drinks menu was over whelming with cocktail choices and we happily indulged. After our meal we were finishing our drinks when the air hostess came over and asked if we would move to another table as a table of 13 unexpectedly arrived. We were happy to move and make room for the new table and were escorted to a nicer table closer to the bar and beside the band. This band had the best set list I’ve come across and we’re beyond good. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and we will be returning !!!

Nice vibe and decorated well for Christmas. Reasonably priced but maybe slightly on the higher end.
Service was friendly and would recommend a meal here.

The venue was really cold which made it difficult to relax. The steak was a little bit cold also, like it had be sitting for too long. The bathrooms were freezing!! Otherwise, it’s a really cool place!

Fabulous late lunch to celebrate grads. Food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive. We were delighted.

Such a funky place. Very New york. We were at a table looking down on the first floor. Bit of a cold breeze coming up. Chicken wings to start they were good. Nice cloth given to wipe hands instead of packs - classy. Husband had burger and I had fillet steak. I ordered the steak medium rare. It was very rare in the middle and only warm. Chips soggy. Cabbage and bacon mash bland - more cream would improve. Burger was good as was piri piri onion rings. Cocktails AMAZING. Staff were good. A different place decor wise for dinner but food was average for the price that it was. For the prices I would expect a higher quality of food.

Nice spot on the inside. But the Tribeton burger wasnt as I expected. Barely anything on the plate when you see the plate. Wasn't completely full I must admit. The piri piri onion rings are just overly greasy onion rings (I mean oil pouring off them) with the smallest amount of piri piri season on the very top onion rings. Wouldn't entice me to go back.

The salmon, Red curry Seafood with Basmati rice, monkfish and steak were all very good. The kids' menu was just perfect!

The food was great (pizza's were baked long enough) and we loved the bread (warm & crispy).
Cocktails were nice too!

This was our 3rd time at Tribeton & it was a little disappointing overall. I had called to make a reservation for approx 7-7.30pm but I was only offered 6pm or 8.30pm, I ended up booking on opentable & taking a 6.15pm reservation. We left the restaurant at about 8pm and we noticed that about 60% of the restaurant was free at that time so it wasn’t booked out. The food was disappointing compared to previous visits, I would’ve given it 10/10 last year when we were there. I had steak which was cooked perfectly but the side of vegetables were disappointing. We let our waitress know, she was very polite & she offered to bring them back but we were finished our meal by the time she came back to check on us. The restaurant was quite cold it didn’t feel cosy although the decor/lighting is excellent & very trendy.
Not sure if I’ll go back again though for dinner but might try it out for lunch instead.

I would recommend it for a place to go for a drink not food.

Food was poor and both side dishes that were ordered never arrived.

There was 4 of us who just ordered 4 starters with some drinks . The food took a really long time to come out and the waiter came down to our table after about 15 minutes and looked at us confused and asked us did we get our food yet . I think it was pretty obvious that we didn’t Because the table was empty . The food was nice but nothing spectacular . The best thing is the vibe of the place and the decor .

Excellent restaurant, fantastic food. One complaint is that we were only at out table just over an hour and were asked to move as they had another booking but terms say that you can have tables for 2 hours

It was not our first visit to Tribeton but usually we would have been there for lunch not dinner.
Our experience started well and we were greeted warmly and brought to a table in good time.
The restaurant wasn't too busy at this point.
We sat and perused the Menu, delighted to be out childfree etc.
Then!..... we just couldn't hear ourselves over a group of ladies shrieking and laughing in a booth right across from us....
We did try to get on with it,but in the end we asked the waitress to move us...no big deal,loads of empty tables etc...
But waitress had to go to ask other staff members etc...
In the end we were moved waaay back and I felt they thought we were being a nuisance.
I completely understand some people are out to have cocktails and a good time....but DON'T seat them beside couples dining.....is it not common sense really.
It took the shine off our night and I felt on edge as the staff members serving us kept checking back as if we were about to complain about something else....my husband said he got same vibe.

Something small but a bit of thought could have avoided the whole situation in the first place.

This was a catch up with friends, we hadn’t seen each other in a year, we sat at 7pm, we were told we had two hours for dinner. We had starter, main and declined desert and were given the bill immediately as the table had to be given back. Lucky we didn’t want desert. We were moved to the drinks area where table service was slow. It’s a really cool, buzzy place, it wouldn’t stop me from going back, but it was a little frustrating all the same!

Wonderful staff great food and fantastic live music brilliant venue would recommend to anyone looking for a brilliant night out in Galway

The food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. The place itself is modern and just beautiful. The only small problem was I requested a desert to be brought out with a special message on it for my girlfriend, which never happened. A very small and almost negligible problem in an otherwise wonderful experience!
