Food was very poor. Steaks were not made to order and in several cases almost raw! Other food mediocre.
We started with the charcuterie plate, the brussels sprouts, and the meatballs, they were all delicious. I had the pasta carbonara it was very tasty. The pasta is made fresh. Another member of our party also had egg plant Parmesan and said it was absolutely wonderful.
Pretty typical for a business area restaurant - commercialized versions or Italian dishes. If you want real Italian food, go to Italy.
Perfect, as always! Tribeca is an amazing restaurant and one of my favorites in the city.
We have eaten here several times and have enjoyed it most times. This experience was less than sub par. The server was great and the cocktails were good. The food was less than. I had the beef and honestly it was the worst piece of meat I have eaten. It was a salty tough and poor quality meal. I was so disappointed in my meal I do not think we will return
Disappointing dining experience that left me feeling fleeced. We had reservations but were seated at a bar. We waited about 10 minutes before being greeted or served water. Meanwhile, servers were all over the bar area but no one would even make eye contact. When we did get a server, the service was perfunctory—they took our order and brought the food to us. I had to ask for drink refills and the check. Lastly, the prices were higher than the quality of food deserved (ie, the pizza described as having asparagus actually contained about six 1/4” pieces), so when the mandatory 20% “service charge” was added in, we felt very overcharged and underserved.
The food was good. Our server was great. However we sat right behind the hostess table and we did not appreciate her obvious and frequent looking back at us to check if we were done with our table. We may have finished our food and gotten our check but our wonderful server told us to not rush our drinks and enjoy ourselves - THAT is thinking of the customer and providing excellent service. He kindly explained to us that he was only giving us our check early in case he got too busy later on during the time we would have wanted our check. The hostess constantly checking over the barrier to see if we were leaving yet is NOT. Especially was not helpful that her expression showed to us that she did not like that we weren’t leaving yet. I don’t think it’s unheard of to have a dining experience that’s 1.5-2 hours long.
Very nice! Service lagged a bit, but an overall great experience
Tribeca is the perfect spot to have dinner prior to seeing a show at the Paramount theatre.
Cool, lively vibe. Lot's of energy while maintaining class. Fresh food with subtle twists on traditional Italian. Attentive but not obtrusive service. Excellent option for pre-theater meal and / or drinks.
The food was fine. We had the mussels for an appetizer, which could have used a bit more spice. I had the squid ink pasta with clams, mussels, calamari and shrimp. The sauce was a bit thick, but otherwise good. The issue with our experience was the service. It took over 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table and offer us water. There were only two other tables with customers at the time. After our appetizer was done, the empty plate stayed on our table while we ate our entrees. We wanted to order a second drink, but our waiter was no where to be found. For the price, I can get a good Italian meal some place else.
Great service and food!
Great Italian with homemade pasta before or after show at The Paramount. Parking tip- $25 event value at Hyatt across the street.
Automatic 20% gratuity? A lot has been said about the move in Seattle for restaurants to add an automatic gratuity to the check. Admittedly, I've not been a fan. But in Tribeca's case, they earned every penny. From the moment we arrived, it was worth it. Friendly greeting, prompt seating , good menu and cocktail variety, excellent food... did I mention the awesome service? My only complaint was the noise, which was deafening, making it hard to carry on our conversation. But we loved everything else about Tribeca. We'll be back.
We had dinner here before going to a show at the Paramount. When we were seated they asked if we were going to the show and told us they would make sure we would get served in time and they made their promise. It was nice they were proactive. Our pasta dishes were good but the star of the meal were the Brussel Sprouts which were Excellent!
Would definitely go back!
Great pasta and pizza!!!!
It was about average, everything except the pizza came out over cooked. The wine list seemed good, a few beers on tap. The first server seemed like he did not want to be there. The second server we had was a very energetic young lady who earned the auto 20% gratuity. Over all next time we are going to see a show at the Paramount we are going to look around and try something else.
Service was terrible!!!
Waiter was not friendly or professional
Does not deserve the mandatory 20% service fee
Waited over 15 minutes before I was offered water
I would not come back for a few months after highly recommend
Food overall was good! Our waitress made recommendations for wine and also her favorite dishes. We ordered a few different things appetizers as well as a few entrees. Sadly we didn’t get to try the desserts but they looked amazing!
Whether for romantic or just a dinner before a show or event, this is the Italian place to go. One of the better Italian Restaurants in Seattle, with their homemade products.
Great eating experience close to the Paramount!
Food was delicious!
Setting is much different than what you can see on their website. It feels like the lobby of a hotel, almost unfinished. Was completely empty at 8:30.
The Carbonara was as good as promised. The Monkfish and Shrimp with Gorgonzola Risotto was absolutely delicious. The meatball appetizer was fluffy and savory and juicy. A great meal.
Great food and service. I'm the expensive side for the whole experience, though
We have been telling our friends and family they should visit
We based at his restaurant choice purely on Open Table recommendations and the reviewers were correct. Our reservation was honored right away. Our server was friendly and helpful. We shared a pizza as an appetizer. Plenty for the four of us. We ordered four dishes and were all happy. Portions are plentiful. I join the list of recommenders for Tribecca.
The tiramisu was fantastic!
20% required service fee
Loved everything about Tribeca except the loudness. We changed tables to be seated in the bar to escape some super loud patrons.
Too much BS around the service charge. Clients don't care
Food is bad, but service is good.
What a great find! Food was delicious, service was quick but not rushed. Homemade pasta fantastic, burrata fabulous! We loved it and would go again!
Everything we had was amazing! So good we ate at Tribeca two nights in a row. The brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
The chicken parmesan was excellent and the pasta some of the best around. Very fresh. My only negative comment is on the Bronzino. While it might be customary to leave the head and skin on the fish, it was challenging to eat with so much marinara sauce (which was delicious) but messy. I'm guessing next time we will skip the fish.
Overall the food was mediocre and overpriced. Paying $8 for a basket of bread is a little silly. The fettuccine in lamb ragu was good but I’ve had better for less than the $25 this place charges. Ordered a $20 salad that literally came out on a tiny side plate. As a family of 4 we paid almost $200 for our meal & weren’t impressed. Not to mention they tack a mandatory 20% service fee on your bill and then leave a line for a tip. We won’t be back.
Tribeca has a large menu with pizza and pasta. I ordered a gluten free pizza and the crust was burned. The arugula salad was good and my companion liked the salmon entree. The restaurant was very loud. Service was good.
The pasta was amazing. Nuff said.
It was just Ok
