Before i decided to come here I read quite a few reviews, obviously all the ones that are critical. Just to see if anything stands out before I try for myself and see if their reviews hold water or if they were going over the top.
Unfortunately they were right about the Rib eye (ordered medium rare) it was not tender, by any means and needed A1 sauce to boot. I also ordered the rosemary chicken, which was dry and bland and I love chicken! It's tough to mess up a straight forward dish like that, even for me! Lol. Fresh mozzarella asparagus salad was ok, but room for improvement.
App baked prawns with feta was good! Service was great and they were very attentive. We didn't try any pastas or desserts, so if I do go back it will definitely be for those!
It is a family owned and run bistro. The food is always good and they are very kind and hospitable. We love to patronize this restaurant. Enjoy!
First, the positive. Staff was excellent. Very friendly and attentive to our table. The interior of the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere.
Then there was the food. Two of us ordered what was shown on the menu as "Grilled Prime Cut Steak". From the name and the associated price tag, one would expect to receive a piece of beef that was well above average. Both of our steaks were very tough to cut and chew. It did not remind me of any Prime Beef that I have had in the past.
The potatoes and Brussel sprouts that came with the steak were both very good. The steamed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, squash) were referred to on the menu as "seasonal vegetables". They seemed like an unnecessary afterthought and like something that would come from a steamed bag of mixed vegetables.
I wish the food was better and more reasonably priced because I really enjoyed the atmosphere and wait staff at this restaurant.
I loved the menu choices, especially the appetizers. I wanted to like what we ordered, but the prawns we're not fresh-- very strong taste and the brussel sprouts were too heavy in oil. The service was excellent and they did comp the prosciutto wrapped prawns.
Great service & a cool spot on Main
Food was mediocre. Ordered hash plate that looked and tasted nothing like hash.
I understand restaurants are just coming back from COVID-19 challenges ... some are doing a better job then others. Tri-Valley seems to be challenged. The food was just OK (fish was fine but ribeye steak was over-cooked). I didn’t complain to the waiter because I didn’t want to wait another 45 minutes to get our meals! It seems like they were serving the many outside tables first (many more table outside then the normal set up inside).
Amazing food and apps!
Again, food is wonderful as is the service. Only drawback is the streetside dining with the noisy cars idling at the stoplight.
The service and food are consistently good. I miss my scallops and black rice. This visit, I enjoyed the spinach ravioli. My husband enjoyed his butternut ravioli. The birthday girl was happy with her halibut and her husband really loved his curry pasta prawns. Those were exceptionally good. We ordered dessert, and were pleasantly surprised to also receive a complimentary chocolate mousse cake for the birthday girl. Our overall experience was very good, as always. Thank you for making my friend feel special!
The food was great and the service was attentive. We sat outside, and we were at a downward slant toward the curb which wasn't the greatest. However, they did the best with what they had available. Inside looked lovely.
Great place to gather with friends for brunch. The service was outstanding. The food was good too. A little pricy for the portions but good quality. Will definitely go back.
Excellent food and service. We have visited twice and both times were fantastic
We enjoyed our lunch outside with some friends recently and everyone enjoyed their meals. Havva and her team were outstanding ensuring that we were satisfied and everything was up to par. Had not ventured out much recently so this was a excellent start to the post pandemic world that we moving into
Everything was just wonderful. The food was excellent and the service was probably among the best I’ve experienced. A little noisy on the street but didn’t detract from the experience.
We enjoyed a very nice lunch outdoors. The food was very nice and the service was outstanding.
Service is great and food is delicious. Breakfast is my favorite dish so far.
Welcoming staff. Prompt on seating us with our reservation. Food came out as timely manner and was delicious.
Great foo..Attentive service. Fair price
Food was excellent and it was great to get back to a restaurant. The only drawback was the noisy Main Street traffic since we have to dine outside with it. Looking forward to getting back to normal dining eventually!
Food was nothing outstanding, but great sidewalk table, and server was great. Also, bottomless!
Always good and excellent service!
Safe environment and attentive staff.
Great service and the food was delicious! Try the crab cakes!
The staff was very friendly. The food was very good. Overall 5 stars.
Eaten here in the past; now open inside but it was lunch and a nice day, so ate outside. Service was excellent. My companion has the burger (looked good but you can get burgers almost anywhere), I had the fish tacos, very tasty. Another companion had the pastrami and didn't offer me a bite! I forget what the 4th diner had. Family run business, good menu, nice choice of beers on tap. We'll be back.
Great service and a restaurant that makes you feel welcome.
The quality of food from our meal was not great (the meat in particular), especially for the price. The service was also not good. I asked for items to be left off my plate that were added anyway and we were never checked on after our food was ordered. I was really excited to eat here after reading the reviews but it was really disappointing. Maybe we just caught an off night but we won't be going back.
We both ordered the grilled vegetable sandwich and it was the best we've had. A generous amount of perfectly roasted veggies, the right amount of melted cheese, and thin yet crunchy bread.
We had another wonderful dinner and always ask ourselves why we don’t come more often. My husband had a chicken breast perfectly cooked covered in artichoke and I had the arugula salad with salmon. Wine list is limited but the food makes up for that
Food was excellent as well as the service, definetly going back
Everything was wonderful. However, the tent material would make quite a bit of noise when cars would pass. Sit near the building if you can.
Great food, great service. Unfortunately we had to eat outside. Very cold.
Excellent food and service. Their tent was good protection against the cold.
Great service. Wonderful choices on the menu. Delicious Food.
Service was great. The Gorgonzola prawns were cooked to perfection. Staff worked very hard to please and stay on top of everything. Great experience.
Outstanding service and food
I ordered the blackened chicken and gorgonzola sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. The order was processed quickly and our food was served within 10-15 minutes. The sandwich was great. The meat was juicy and the combination of the gorgonzola, spinach and sauce was great. the fries were hot and crisp and were a great pairing with the sandwich, For dessert I had the chocolate mousse cake. It was good about a 7 out of 10. All in all a nice dining experience and great food and service. A little pricey through. My lunch was $24 plus tip and no beverage.
Enjoyed the outside dining with family. Food is great and service is impeccable. Will definitely come back.
The service was impeccable. The food was delicious and plenty of serving. The servers kept coming back to
Make sure we had water and to takeout plates when we were done. I would visit again and tell others about it.
