Trezeros Kitchen and Tap
We are just what the neighborhood ordered. Trezeros is the perfect local place to meet family, friends and co workers for lunch, dinner, after work cocktails, watch the big game or to celebrate that extra special event.
The decor marries old and new with the reclaimed locally made table tops, reclaimed bar front from the existing building dating back to the 1930’s to the contemporary European designed chairs and stools.
No wait service for over 30 minutes until we asked...then service was slow. Normally very happy with food & service, not this time....what happened Trezeros?
Had a very nice dinner of lobster ravioli and a lemon drop martini. Great service!
This is one of the best restaurants in the NW suburbs, hands down. The menu is always interesting making it hard to choose. The fish and pasta dishes are especially good. Bread and tomato olive spread comes first at every table. The beer selection is very good but not overwhelming. There are usually specials which are always perfectly prepared. The homemade soups are the best I have ever had. Service is stellar. All in all, hard to beat.
We went on NYE and our experience was just ok. Service was slow, but they were very busy and we were in no rush so it wasn't a big deal. I think our waitress was either a fill in or very new. She wasn't well versed in gluten free options and didn't seem to know the menu all that well. I ordered a the Pasta Carbonara dish that needed to be gluten free. It came out looking like soup and didn't include an egg so I sent it back. They brought it back out a few minutes later and it looked better. Because of our wait, I was starving and ate it right away. I ended up sick when we got home. Not sure if I was glutened by the pasta dish, but it sure seems like that was the culprit.
We visited the restaurant about a year ago and had a great experience. Not sure if they just overextended themselves with it being NYE or if it's gone downhill.
Great place, food, and owner/staffs. Highly recommend.
My girlfriend tried Trezeros this past Saturday. Our waiter(Jimmy???) was very good. He made some spot on recommendations which are always appreciated. The bread and sun-dried tomatoe dip was outstanding. My girlfriend had the Halibut and it was very good. Tasty and a nice size piece of fresh fish. I had Chicken Piccata with spaghetti as a side. The chicken was good but maybe a few more capers in the sauce would have rendered it very good. The spaghetti was a bit rubbery but overall I was very happy with the meal. Drinks were reasonably prices. We will certainly be back.
This restaurant never fails to deliver a great dining experience. The food and service are exceptional and the owner seems to always be visible and available.
The food was Amazing. Jimmy, our server, was friendly and informative and gave us great suggestions. A great neighborhood find.
The food was bland but came quickly.
Awesome food and service.
Very surprisingly good food served here. Enjoyed our meal.
Had a wonderful time at the restaurant. Food was outstanding, especially the Bang Shrimp as an appetizer.
The food was outstanding, my husband ordered the ribs and said best ever.
Waitress was very pleasant and very accommodating. We definitely will come back!
was impressed with the quality of food and great service
Always a great time and delicious food at this place. Fantastic drink specials and great live music on Thursday nights.
We celebrated my birthday on Sat night. We’ve been to Trezeros many times since it opened and have never been disappointed. The warm bread served with sun dried tomato olive oil is amazing. On Sat we shared a special artichoke appetizerr and the arrancini. Both spectacular. Had to have a cup of the pasta fazoul soup. Always wonderful. Then on to our entrees: Chicken Parmesan, salmon Oreganata, Pecan crusted halibut, and Veal saltimbocca. All delicious. We love the reasonably priced wines on tap and the service is excellent. This is our favorite downtown Mount Prospect restaurant by far. Go there! You will not be disappointed.
I’m on a special diet and kitchen graciously accommodated my request to combine preparation of one dish and sides of another. The outcome was positively delicious!
Very good food. Nice contemporary atmosphere. Easy access suburban Mt Prospect location.
Great food! Had music the night we attended. Owner came around to each table to talk to all the patrons. Must go there! Great Tiramisu.
Wonderful unique menu
Many tasty entrees
Food was good. Service was unattentive. Parking is really an issue. If you pull into what you think is their parking lot, there is only room for about 6 cars and then it’s hard to turn around and get out.
Nothing good to add sorry it was awful
Took a long time to be waited on from the time we walked in just to order a drink. Then a long time to be served.
Had a nice dinner. Really enjoyed the scallop appetizer. We split the gnocchi and ptarmigan encrusted salmon-delicious!
It does get noisy as the room fills but the energy is positive, the food was excellent and creative. They have daily specials including a specially priced menu before 6pm that makes you meal very inexpensive. I'd be happy to return. Wednesday is half-priced bottles of wine and Tuesday is half-priced tap wine and they had some excellent choices.
Trezeros is a great place for creative food, much of it Italian, good beer menu and creative cocktails. We had appetizer, salad and pasta, and loved everything. Highly recommend Trezeros.
I wish the TVs were turned off, they are super distracting and hard to have a conversation with them on. Would be nice to just hear music. Even if we try to not pay attention, they surround the restaurant and take away from the cool look of the place.
Went on a recommendation and it was a very good one at that
Simply .... what a great experience!
Food was well prepared and good, service needs attention. Long wait after being seated in an uncrowded room, longer wait for drinks, bread. Another long wait for appetizer, which did not arrive until after salad, and then came at the same time as entrees.
We were introduced to Trezeros about six months ago by new friends at The Moorings (retirement community in Arlington Heights) and have returned with them and others several times since then. This last time my son joined us for the first time and he, also was very impressed. The service is always good - John served us this week and has several times and he's great. Actually, the service is always great.
My first time to Trezeros.....enjoyed it. Appreciated that we could carry on a conversation. There were not many people so don't know if this is true when crowded.
Eggplant lasagna was DELICIOUS. Huge portion....brought 1/2 home.
Tuesday 1/2 price tap wine and beer.....good night to go.
We will visit again.
PS Restroom was very nice and CLEAN...appreciated that
Excellent in all respects.
We have come to this establishment several times and always ordered something different and delicious from the menu. We have sat in the bar as a couple, eaten in the dining room as a couple, dined with a large group in the dining room and the food has always been terrific (from the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees and desserts). The service is quite attentive and Pasquale the owner comes around to check on the patrons. If you haven't tried this restaurant, please do. You will not be disappointed.
Great appetizers, good food and drink specials. Entertainment in the evening in the bar area. The dinning room is a bit quieter
Food was great- it always has been.
Service was not. This has been my typical experience. Took over a half hour to get our app (calamari) and about 15 min to get our bread. This was a girls night, so we weren’t in a hurry to get home, but I’d hate to think if we were there with our kids, or if we had plans to go somewhere after dinner.
This was our first time dining here. The staff was friendly but not very personable. It started off fine with some decent sangrias and the waiter had good recommendations on what he preferred.
The seared see scallops came out with the tops and bottoms almost white, with very little color. There was a distinct burnt (not seared) flavor that we soon discovered was from a few scallops that were black around the edges from being overcooked.
There was a fire five minute delay afterwards while we waited for our steak and pizza. The waiter came out three times to tell us the food was almost ready and was apologetic about the delay. Looking around we noticed that most of the staff seemed stressed and everyone around waiting on entrees were also experiencing very long delay.
The prawn pizza came out decent but over salted. The steak was cooked medium well instead of medium and was settled with burnt vegetables.
We skipped dessert.
Wonderful Restaurant, Great Food and Service! My Son loves their Mac 'N Cheese and their portions are just right!
One of our favorite restaurants. Good food, good service, beautiful decor
Food was very good but was a little pricey for us since salad and soup was extra.
We went with two other couples looking for a place to converse and eat a good meal. Was NOT disappointed! Layout conducive for casual conversation and the food was excellent. Wait staff very attentive and engaged to ensure we had a good time. Will definitely go back.
