Nice neighborhood place for causal dinner with family. Food can be hit and miss at times but overall good for price. Good beer selection.
We return to Trestle Tavern every opportunity we get! The food is delicious!!
We love this place, it has such a cool ambiance, but the noise level for any kind of conversation was too loud. The food is awesome, and it's great for a couple, but not if you're trying to have a business dinner.
Great food, excellent service, easy to make a reservation. It was too loud to carry on a conversation though.
We love trestle tavern! Great food, reasonable prices and lovely cozy atmosphere. It’s a neighborhood gem
Tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Great food and service. Would recommend sitting outside on a sunny day.
We love Trestle Tavern. The food is flavorful, the ambiance is delightful.
Excellent food, atmosphere and location. Would highly recommend it.
We had a reservation for 6:00 PM and found the charming, shaded patio quite open at that time. By the time we left there were several others at tables, yet the atmosphere remained peaceful and relaxing throughout our dining experience. Our hostess was great and our waitperson was excellent. His name is Quentin; he was very attentive and extremely personable. When asked for dinner recommendations he provided us with great information. We will definitely return and request to have Quentin's service!
Great place
Very pleasant outside dining. The trout in horseradish sauce was excellent.
Clearly understaffed. Wine list is limited and not ideal. Food was average at best.
We sat outside which provided great ambiance. My husband’s beer took a lot longer than normal because they said they had to change out the barrel. When the beer finally arrived, it was luke warm. The food and service was good.
Tiny, noisy children at both near tables spoiled the experience. Can't be avoided anywhere, so too bad for us crabby older diners.
We live in the neighborhood and walk past Trestle Tavern several times a week but had never tried it. We had friends in town who used to live in the neighborhood so we thought we’d give it a try. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a pineapple slice and it’s probably the best pulled pork I’ve ever had. Fries were outstanding. Service was great. We ate outside so there were flies but that’s something I should have thought about. It wasn’t too bad.
Everyone one loved their selection.
Will definitely return.
Server was great. Food is a bit hit and miss, as are the cocktails. We enjoy the place, though, and will keep going back.
Great hidden gem. The food and service were excellent. We tried the Pierogis as an appetizer - the best I have ever had.
Unfortunately we had to move inside with our party of 4 as it was so noisy outside we couldn't hear ourselves speak! Inside we waited almost an hour to be served.
Food is quite good, but service was not. Too busy and too few wait staff or cooks, not sure which.
Was going to suggest it for our group of 7, but, unfortunately will now probably not.
Food served before drinks - cold potato peroxide’s with warm sauce - decided not to order entrees and just left
The menu is way too small and the food is only ok. The portions are tiny! We ordered a salad for an entree and it was brought out on a small plate. I ordered the stew and it felt like about a cup of food. I left hungry and will never be back. The outside where we ate needed to be swept and cleaned up. I felt like I was eating behind somebody's garage. The diet coke came in a small bottle and we had to ask for another one. This is the third and last time I will eat here. It's not worth the high price and low quality.
Connor was the sweetest, most attentive server! Best I’ve had in slc and I visit regularly! Love the ambiance and quaintness of this amazing restaurant!
It was very enjoyable. Went early and hot... could have used some misters... but love the ivy and patio!!
Trestle is a pleasant, affordable option for a nice meal. Sat inside on a hot summer evening--it was quiet and cool. Got the brussel sprouts appetizer (delicious!), the French onion soup, and the grilled cheese sandwich. All of the selections were tasty.
Food was amazing, great service and the outdoor patio seating was beautiful .
The waiter was very kind and patient as we had a 95 year old friend with us.
The door going outside near our table kept slamming over & over again & then they propped it open & then we were dying of the heat let in from outside.
Good food, nice ambiance, but pricey.
Pierogi were excellent along with service. Expected a little more than the pre made grilling cheese disc used in the grilled cheese. Brussels sprouts were a little undercooked. This is a kid/baby friendly restaurant. Be for warned.
We enjoyed the patio. Would recommend serving some good bread. Think they are changing chefs and menu. Would give them another chance. Curried cauliflower and gazpacho were great.
Always a good experience to visit the Trestle Tavern. Great food in a cosy neighborhood backyard. The trout cakes are amazing and so was everything else we ordered.
We love this place. Ambience and food is always so good!
Excellent food and nice outdoor setting. Service was gracious although they seemed a bit tapped out on resources. Regardless, they made sure we were taken care of and were careful to answer our questions about the meal, especially as it related to any food sensitivities. Very much appreciated
We came in super close to closing and they were so great to serve us! Thank you for another great night Trestle Tavern. Yummy food, well priced and fun causal atmosphere.
I was bummed. I love the atmosphere. The salad was icky. Too much dressing. The cocktail was overpriced for what it was. We were rushed through the end of the meal and not asked if we wanted another drink or dessert. I wanted to love this neighborhood establishment☹️
Amazing palce! Quiet beautiful patio. Perfect for almost any occasion. Slightly upscale. Very impressed. Probably one of the best spots in SLC.
Nice place to meet up for a date! Quiet environment with friendly staff and good food! Fun to eat out on the patio in the warmer months and cozy inside in the cooler months.
This definitely felt like a hidden gem when we got there. The menu is a little small, but the outdoor seating area is beautiful and staff was very attentive but not overbearing.
Can’t believe we’ve missed this little hide away. New favorite spot. The appetizers were so good, we tried 4 and were too full for an entree and so split a salad. Really excellent and we will definitely be back
Cute romantic and rustic restaurant. Good is pretty good, love the lamb burger and definitely ask for their aoli options! Nice wine/beer/cocktail list too. Small and intimate, a little pricey for what you get (like most of the trendy restaurants in the area) but over all worth it!
One of my favorite places! It has such a unique vibe and a LOVELY patio you should take advantage of in nice weather. The food is a little pricey but not unbearable...Try the pierogi, they're our favorite!
Atmosphere was great. Servers were helpful. Child friendly.
It was great food however we asked to seat outside the patio however the host informed us that it was all reserved. We sat inside instead and saw that only two tables were being used during our dinner. There were plenty of empty tables outside that we could have used. Very disappointing!
