You'll see our rustic sign peeking out from under the ivy that surrounds the entrance to the patio. In the warmer months we have our hostess stand at the end of the sidewalk by our patio and in the colder months we have our hostess stand inside the little building, just off the patio. Our entire space is small, off-the-beaten path, and a bit hard to find, but we sure love it. The building holds our cozy dining room with shades of warm gray and original pane glass windows along one wall, and the patio is a tiny oasis of green plants and ivy in the warmer months. Don't be shy, just walk up and say hello!

Outdoor patio was not maintained well at all. Service was bad from the beginning, waited far too long to even get a glass of wine. Waiter had no sense of urgency what so ever. Tapas were good however the Paella was terrible. Ended up sending it back. Would not recommend nor will I be back. Very disappointing, not at all like the old location!!!
I enjoyed the majestic garden feel of the outdoor dining.
but it was very hard to get our servers attention. so we waited long periods for service, or to ask for other items. The tapas were great, As well as the platos.
Sadly the service lacked.
We were welcomed back enthusiastically by our long time server. Everything was delightful. Sitting outside in a quiet, comfortable setting away from the noise is highly recommended!
Food was delish, courtyard setting was lovely & great selection of wines to choose from. So glad to have Finca in the neighborhood!
I’m pretty sure at a Spanish place your paella should be more than bland butter rice. Don’t put something on the menu if you don’t know how to make it, especially at that price.
Great place to have dinner, beautiful restaurant and wonderful food!
Went for brunch at the new location on 15th. It was amazing! Food did not disappoint- so much flavor and beautifully presented. We sat on the patio which was lovely and drank mimosas with fresh squeezed OJ.
The food was okay. Nothing thrilling. There's nothing I'm dying to go back for. Our server, Quinton, was excellent. Eating outside on a nice summer day is great. But I can't say I was blown away.
Fabulous food!! Will be back .
Seating request wasn’t changed from 2 to 4 so we had to wait for a table to clear. Which was okay with us. The manager was courteous and very attentive the whole time. Nice place. Cozy
Great atmosphere, service was great and the food was delicious.
The food was incredible and the restaurant itself was cozy and intimate.
My first time there and it was for Valentine's Day. Cute little place, great for dates. I do think though it would nice if there was more lighting on the path outside to the dinning room. The food was good, although my main entree pasta did taste undone. The meals and wine were served too quick for a set menu. I felt the ambiance and the nice music didn't match the people who worked there, perhaps it was just the romantic vibe but the service didn't match that delicate vibe. They ran out of the appetizer on the set menu and they offered another option, but it was a bummer since I was looking forward to the original appetizer. I would like to go back to try the food on a regular day.
I loved our romantic Valentine dinner at Trestle Tavern. As always, the service was personable and attentive. I got the wine pairing and loved my three drinks, each one especially suited for the course. The food was absolutely delicious and the noise level was so low, the romantic, jazz music so delightfully perfect and the staff so sweet and attentive that the entire experience was an experience of ease and contentment coupled with delicious food and wine.
Lovely evening and nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back! Haven’t been here since it was The Afterward in the 80’s.
A small and romantic setting serve as a great background for fantastic food. Quick and friendly service round out a great spot.
The food and service was exceptional!
I love Trestle Tavern! The menu selection is great and everything I’ve ordered is always very fresh! I appreciate the local sourcing and seasonal menu. It’s a cute, little restaurant tucked behind an equally adorable and locally owned bookshop.
What a pleasant find! Tucked away with a cozy fireplace and quaint atmosphere. The smoked trout cakes were perfection. The burgers were delicious. Although a comment was made that they could be improved by being on a toasted bun instead if the sourdough thick sliced toast. Our server was great.
The waiter was super nice and helpful with questions we had. The food was incredible. The ambience was intimate and cozy. Loved the experience.
The the host who greeted us was cordial and prompt. We made a reservation and were seated right on time. Our waiter was disinterested and unfriendly, but our entire order was entered correctly. The food was excellent and priced fairly. The ambiance was very cozy and romantic. We will be going back, hopefully the waiter is better next time, other than that it was a fantastic dining experience.
It’s a cute spot. But when it fills up its loud because it’s quite small. The chairs are pretty uncomfortable, some of the seating is half booths. I had the burger and it was cooked medium but pretty dry. The fries are the kind I love, skin on, but I got a lot of small hard pieces from the bottom of the batch. My husband had fish and chips and it was a lot of batter and not a lot of fish. Not sure I would make it a point to go back here
Great food and great prices. Make reservations on a weekend!
Enjoyed a week night dinner at Trestle--glad we had reservations (6:30) because the place was full. Great service, enjoyable food (our table got Brussels sprouts and cauliflower appetizers, fish and chips, and the chopped chicken salad). Loved the fries.
The food is always good at Trestle. A little noisy this evening but still a good dinner. The cheese sauce for the pretzel appetizer is good enough to drink.
Really good dinner! The food was excellent and they were very accommodating for my wife’s food sensitivities. Friendly service too! We really enjoyed it!
New Yrs Eve dinner date. Largely satisfied. Just felt rushed like the main goal of the service was table turnover. I understand the need to manage that on a busy night with a prix fixe menu, but one shouldn’t have to ask for coffee or other beverage while the desserts are slapped down on the table.
It was a our first time patronizing Trestle Tavern. The food was very good with the Chef allowing each individual to season their dish personally. I recommend the Beef Stew. I give 5 stars to the Outstanding people who served us!!!!
delicious food, didn't arrive immediately but was just right amount of time between courses, only thing I don't like is the place is small and thus you feel on-top of other guests and our server had to enter orders, etc. right next to us. Despite the drawbacks of the size, it still was not very loud and felt fairly comfortable.
Nice neighborhood place for causal dinner with family. Food can be hit and miss at times but overall good for price. Good beer selection.
We return to Trestle Tavern every opportunity we get! The food is delicious!!
We love this place, it has such a cool ambiance, but the noise level for any kind of conversation was too loud. The food is awesome, and it's great for a couple, but not if you're trying to have a business dinner.
Great food, excellent service, easy to make a reservation. It was too loud to carry on a conversation though.
We love trestle tavern! Great food, reasonable prices and lovely cozy atmosphere. It’s a neighborhood gem
Tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Great food and service. Would recommend sitting outside on a sunny day.
We love Trestle Tavern. The food is flavorful, the ambiance is delightful.
Excellent food, atmosphere and location. Would highly recommend it.
We had a reservation for 6:00 PM and found the charming, shaded patio quite open at that time. By the time we left there were several others at tables, yet the atmosphere remained peaceful and relaxing throughout our dining experience. Our hostess was great and our waitperson was excellent. His name is Quentin; he was very attentive and extremely personable. When asked for dinner recommendations he provided us with great information. We will definitely return and request to have Quentin's service!
Very pleasant outside dining. The trout in horseradish sauce was excellent.
