At Trestle, we remember a time, not too long ago, where people took pause to enjoy a meal in the presence of great company, giving it the reverence and respect deserved. We provide a dining experience served in courses, with the satisfaction and warmth found at a family gathering, creating the foundation to a proper meal.

Every day we feature a changing 3 course prix fixe menu with choices on each course for $42/person. We will have an optional additional pasta course for $12/person. Unfortunately, we do not offer ala-carte options.

We are able to accommodate vegetarian options nightly. We do our best to accommodate other allergies/restrictions based on the menu for that evening.

Due to our limited spacing, we can accommodate parties of 8 or less only.

    Fabulous food and service! I do wish there were an option to forgo dessert -- maybe instead a little crudo app at the start of the meal? I just don't need the sugar, and my dining companions mostly felt the same. We left approximately two-thirds of our dessert portions on our plates. So, while the meal was otherwise delicious (and we polished our plates for the starter and entrees), the dessert part eroded the value and feeling of having the right options.

    While the starters and pasta were excellent the mains and desserts were just ok. Not bad by any means, just rather ok. Small joint and lots of people but pretty good energy. Service was excellent with all members of the staff helping table side. We really did enjoy it but probably won’t go back.

    Trestle is an absolute gem of a restaurant! Always has delicious, creative dishes and desserts. A nice wine list. And the service is outstanding. Really great value for such excellent food. Five stars all around!

    The service, food and drinks were AMAZING. Truly remarkable at this price. That said, the acoustics are TERRIBLE. It's a really clattery space where it's difficult to hear the people at your table. By the time we finished our meal I couldn't wait to get out of there. I can see that the restaurant has made efforts at treating the acoustics (ceiling panels, etc.). It isn't enough. The room needs some soft wall treatments and corner traps.

    Lovely, lovely experience! We were celebrating a special occasion and they seated us in a great little corner. The food was excellent, the service truly impeccable, and the noise level was perfect. Loud enough that you don’t worry about being overheard but quiet enough to have a good conversation with the people you’re with. Absolutely will be coming again!

    Excellent food for a decent price. Unpretentious and quaint. Very well done concept. The food does come out quickly , however you don’t feel rushed. I am very hard on restaurants and this one is fit for foodies that does not break the bank. Bravo.

    Great restaurant! Amazing food, wonderful service, nice decor. We had a lovely evening and they even gave us a sweet note and special chocolate to celebrate our anniversary. Special touches like that make the experience even more memorable. We got the pasta supplement to share, but afterwards we were so full from the other courses that we hadn't really needed it. Everything was delicious and the flavors were unique. We will definitely come back soon!

    Every so often, a restaurant comes along that exceeds expectations...Trestle is one of those! Restaurant Week was a wonderful intro to Trestle where the professional staff, high quality food and atmosphere make it one of the City's best dining experiences. The SF Restaurant Week menu featured potato leek soup, chicory & persimmon salad, beef short ribs, crispy salmon, as well as brownies and panna cotta for desert, Our complements!

    Oor group tried each item on the menu and every serving was delicious. The soup and salad were fresh. The pasta was nicely prepared not overdone.We liked the short ribs which had a nice sauce and garnishes. And the desserts were very likable without being too sweet..

    My main dish came out and the temperature wasn’t as warm as I wanted it. It seemed like it had been sitting for a while. Maybe they’ve had it prepared too soon since it was restaurant week. None the less it was still tasty. Always love this place.

    went to the restaurant for the SF Restaurant Week. the food was OK but not outstanding. service was very good. terribly noisy. the price was very reasonable for a 4-course dinner. the surprise was a 20% service charge automatically added to the total for a party of 2. with a 9% sales tax on the sub-total and another 5% for the SF mandate, we had almost 37% added to the bill. i have to say that's a bit much. or, am I just behind the time?

    This was a great find. I found Trestle on the list for restaurants week. I went a week early and I’m so glad I did. The wait staff was so lovely and friendly. The food was perfect portions and delicious. There’s no bar but there is a beer and wine list. We will be back.
