The hostess instead of welcoming us, the first thing she said “how can I help you”, ok then, so I said I have a reservation, if you can give us a table outdoors will be great, “well yes I can but I will need the table back in 90 minutes, so if you are planning to stay more you go to the high tops and I will not bother you”, I was like really? We decide to go the high tops to avoid being asked to leave the table, the chairs super uncomfortable, they were all the way in one corner where in front of us servers and cooks smoke during their breaks, server forgot he have table and we didn’t see her for a while, she was good but absent a few times. The worst thing was that all the regular tables were empty since we got there at 7:30 until they were closing, unbelievable… Hostess was rude and with zero body language to greet customers, so sad because the food was ok, not great at they said, not the best Italian for sure, but burrata and carpaccio was decent. The entrees were just too creamy, dessert was good. They didn’t ask if we were celebrating anything, nothing. Lots of places around, terrible customer service since we got there. Bad luck maybe.
Our waiter Kevin was a wonderful person and made our dinning experience fabulous. Our food was Amazing. I definitely recommend this restaurant

Amazing meal with great service. The meatball and calamari appetizers were fantastic. All meals from the pork chop to the fra Diablo to the gnocchi were excellent and cooked perfectly. All food came out hot! The best and most fantastic meal was the veal chop parmigiana with bolognese tagliatelle on the side! Best we’ve ever had! Will definitely be back to Tresca when we return to Boston!! The staff was awesome and attentive on a very busy night!
For my mother’s 60th birthday - gave the right amount of ambience/class for the occasion without being too pricey/fancy.

We visited Boston for a couple days to get away and celebrate 9 years of being together. We decided on Tresca for dinner after looking around all day for the perfect dinner spot. We are so happy we decided on Tresca. Not only was everything decadent, but the service was out of this world. Not only did Fernando help us pick our bottle of wine, but we were also surprised with a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal. Thank you Fresca for making our 9 year anniversary extra special!!

The meatballs and the seafood diabalo were the best ever.
We went on a Sunday evening. Very crowded when we arrived but died quickly. Food and service were very good. Probably ordered more than we needed to, but we like to try a few things. Seafood Alfredo was magnificent

Dinner at Tresca was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here and couldn't have imagined picking anywhere else to go. Sabat was an incredible waiter, the food was delicious (would highly recommend the black truffle gnocchi and the burrata) and the location is prime right in North End.

Dinner was superb. The food was delicious, well portioned, and incredibly fresh. Having traveled to Italy many times, I felt I was back in Italian enjoying an evening of dining out.
The wait staff were extremely friendly, attentive and deeply knowledgeable about each dish.

The food was soooo delicious. From the bread and oil to the salad and our meal (I had chicken picatta, my husband had bolognese with Angel hair pasta, all was just perfect. We’ll definitely be going back soon! Two thumbs up!!!

This was our first visit to Tresca and it was a wonderful experience. The service really set the stage. Our waiter was helpful and gave good guidance on food (what, how much to order) and wine. It’s not often a restaurant please us, our two teenagers (one of whom is a vegetarian) and my mother in law! We had a wonderful table inside but with a large windows open to the street. I recommend Tresca for regular dinners and for special occasions. One thing to note, it was a fairly expensive meal but felt worth it overall.

Best veal parmigiana I’ve ever had.
Food and service were good but not great. Service was a little slow and my pasta dish was quite salty. I willtry it again. During the pandemic we ordered take out a few times and the food was excellent. We sat upstairs and the setting was good.

Absolutely amazing evening. The owner Rich is very nice and always checking in to make sure everything is well. From apps to drinks to the main course and finally dessert, there wasnt a bad part to the meal

We had great service and exceptional food. The owner and chef, Rich Ansara, made a visit to our table where he greeting us warmly and made us feel like family. It’s important to note that he greeted many other diners as well. He came back again to check on how everything was. Truly, it was a delicious and wonderful dining experience.
Because of Covid, we chose to eat outside on a beautiful evening.

The italian food is amazing and service even better. The Veal Chop Milanese style or Parmesan style is like heaven on earth. The Seafood Alfredo is one of the best dishes I've had in my entire life. Just devine and delicious. Chef Rich Ansara makes from scratch and hand rolls his own Gnocchi with a stunning truffle sauce that will make you beg for more. The Bolognese sauce is savory, elegant and scrumptious. Packed with meaty flavor with his hand made pasta. Just gorgeous and super delicious. Chef Rich Ansara is one of the best Chef's in New England and the country so take my word for it the man knows his food and treats every customer with a smile and tries to say hello, greets you with kindness and asks how the service and food is during your visit. Very special and friendly Chef!!!
