This was a date night. Very romantic ! Perfect!
We loved the restaurant but the meal was very rushed. Our reservations are at 8:15 and we were out of there by 9:15. We would have liked the courses to have been paced out better. We wanted to enjoy the food and the restaurant and have the dining experience.
Sia il cibo sia il servizio erano eccellenti. Ma come tutti Ristoranti nel North End, era rumoroso e i tavoli erano troppi vicini.
The food was terrific and we loved the ambience. Would absolutely recommend Tresca!
The food, service, and staff were excellent. Chef Rich never disappoints.
An absolutely phenomenal restaurant! I took my mother here for a mother daughter date night and we both absolutely loved every bite! Chef Richard was very attentive and knowledgeable when it came to my food allergies (An Italian girl who is Celiac) and came out every so often to check on each table to see how they enjoyed their meals. We will absolutely be here again soon!
This is my favorite restaurant in the North End of Boston. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts are all so satisfying. I highly recommend dining here.
The dinner was wonderful. The head chef came around and chatted with guests about their meals. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Will definitely be going back.
Nice atmosphere, gluten free pasta bolognese was great!
Loved everything about Tresca, except the seating. We were a party of 3 and had a table for 2, so it was very cramped.
Loved it. Food & Service were outstanding. Really enjoyed the table on the second floor. I had the half order of the Tiger Shrimp over fettuccini. Delicious and plentiful. My family enjoyed their meals. Would give it 2 thumbs up and my recommendation. I will definitely return. Great Job to everyone at Tresca. John B
Great spot in the Northend with excellent food. Chicken Parm is one of the best and so large it is hard to finish. The service was great as the server was attentive.
Our dinner at Tresca was simply amazing. Started off with a delicious bruschetta (which the chef happily substituted mozzarella for goat cheese), then we enjoyed what my friend said was the best caesar salad she's ever had (I agreed). For entrees she ordered the bolognese while I had the shrimp scampi. Both were delicious. We could not have been more pleased or enjoyed our dinner more.
Epitome of quaint Italian Boston (or anywhere) restaurant! Food was great, and easily accommodated minor food requests. Will definitely go again
Best burrata made with extra love
Excellent service. Top notch, waiter was knowledgeable about everything from the wines through the desserts. Runners were equally as helpful / efficient. Food was very good, just didn’t have the “wow” factor we were expecting. Diverse menu, would dine there again
Never had a bad meal at Tresca.
The meal was tremendous — made from scratch! True Italian cooking!!! I left the restaurant 2 hours ago and cannot wait to go back!
The wait staff were attentive and the chef came out to speak to us and personally delivered my daughter’s special order to her!!!
This was our first time At Tresca and I give it 5 stars. A warm fire, great food, attentive service and hands down the absolutely the best risotto with turkey tips! We had two appetizers beef carpaccio and arranchi both were delicious! My date commented a few time that it was a great night!
Bone in veal parm was fantastic!
Food and service was great as usual. Dining room can get quite noisy when full.
The food was delish, the service was good, the dessert (tiramisu) was ok, not amazing. I had a rigatoni dish and my friend had scallops with risotto. The portions were just right. We will definitely be back.
I chose to bring a friend here to show her some of the best food Boston has to offer-- Tresca didn't disappoint! I came here last year, as well, to give my sister a surprise birthday dinner. My family is a bunch of the pickiest eaters you can find, and they still devoured everything. Tresca never disappoints!
Lobster ravioli was out of this world! We sat upstairs, the restaurant was bigger than I was expecting!
We had about 5 different appetizers they were all really good, for dinner the bone-in Veal was excellent
We love Tresca! Always our first choice when we visit Boston and the North End for special occasions. The Bartenders are fantastic, and my husband loves talking sports with them :)
It was our first time and it was enjoyable, however, tables are too close to each other and the acoustics are poor - difficult to hear each other talk over dinner
When back for the Sweet Potato Gnocchi with duck. Even better than I remember. Our son got the Cioppino and was blown away. Our go to spot in the North End.
The chicken Parm is absolutely amazing, and the tiramisu was one of the best I ever had!
My wife and I went for NYE and to celebrate her birthday, and it was amazing! Food was great, service was outstanding and the chef stopped by our table twice for a nice chat.
Best bartenders, great service, food came out fast. Everything was hot and delicious.
Haven’t kids menu
At New year not activities for this event.
Very special NYE dinner at Tresca! Thank you for such an enjoyable meal with our friends. 💗
As much as I loved the quick & efficient service, I sure wish some of the major entrees weren't so overpriced in the 1st place (i.e. The Pollo whatever it was called w/ Mushrooms) that I was going to order, but couldn't due to my darn tight budget since two of my reimbursements wouldn't come as soon as I hoped whatsoever (i.e. Healthworks For Women in Coolidge CNR & Verizon Wireless, respectively). Ditto for me NOT receiving my $20 gift card for signing up before DEC 15th.
The food was mediocre. Not many options for vegetarians. The salad was soaked in dressing and not fresh.
New Year’s Eve
Food was great. I was looking forward trying this restaurant and was disappointed that a gif card I received after running Ray Borgue race was not valid on December 31. It didn't say anywhere that some dates are not valid. Moreover it says valid though December 31.
simply perfect !
Excellent food. A little pricey but large portions. New years eve dinner around 6pm not busy, but limited menus for holiday is only reason for withholding a star. Would go again.
Just a wonderful meal and service as well. Variety abounds and everyone immensely enjoyed all of the chosen entrees and apps
