Enjoyed a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner. We ordered from the special menu and the four courses were outstanding. It was quite busy as expected for Valentine’s Day and while the staff was visibly stressed, they handled the influx of guests well and did the best they could given the rush of people.
Food was good but that was the slowest service I have ever experienced.
Everything was great! I was pleasantly surprised that there was a live musician for our Valentines dinner. However the service was lacking, I know it’s Valentine’s Day and its a busy night, coming from a restaurant background I try and be understanding, but the service just wasn’t there for me. I’ve been before for happy hour and it’s great, I’m not sure if they were understaffed or our server was just new. But other diners around us complained about the slow service as well. All in all I would keep coming back for the outstanding food. I’m just a little wary on how long I’ll be waiting to get the food.
Food was outstanding
Better time management between courses reflects the overall experience
We went for Valentine's Day and there was live music. The ambience was nice and the food was delicious. This place has a nice patio for our beautiful spring weather. The service was spotty and the food came out at random times. We discussed this with the manager and he did eventually make this right. I would return again in hopes that the details were worked out. The food was delicious and overall it is a very nice place.
Had the Valentine's special... great food with creative recipes.
We went to Tres Kitchen for an early dinner on Valentine's Day. Both the food and the service were excellent. We sat outside and enjoyed that. We left before the live music started. We had a combination of small and medium plates for sharing. The dates and the salmon en papillote were especially good.
Very interesting and unusual flavors presented creatively. Loved that you could select portion sizes and had healthy alternatives (lettuce wraps vs buns). Service was excellent! We will definitely return!
The flavors were outstanding, especially on the small, shareable plates. Service was good. The roast chicken main had great flavors but the amount of chicken didn’t match the price. The restaurant has a nice casual vibe with a large bar to hang out at. Service was good.
Very nice server and great ambiance. The food was average. The humous (beans, not chickpeas) was the best of the order. My "Cuban Reuban" was greasy and sloppy. The highly touted jicama slaw was bland. My friend had a burger on lettuce and enjoyed it. All in all, it was satisfactory, but priced as if it was excellent. No reason to rush back but if I was nearby, I might try it again.
Great food again. This is our second time here. Our second visit was even better than our first. Chris our server was great. Food here is unbelievably tasty. Not like every other restaurant. Every dish is special. Starting from the olives to the mains to the wine to everything. I am a foodie and am rarely impressed by a restaurant. This place impresses me!!!!
Excellent tapas and Spanish cuisine.
The restaurant is off the beaten path, but well worth the drive.
Went there with a group of people after viewing the Tapas menu. Great food and next to a hotel in a suburb. Service was ok - many times they didn’t take used items off the table so I ended up filling the table next to me with used plates and glasses.
We went for the paella night with a price fixe and cocktail. Loved it. We’ve gone to three different paella nights, twice outside on the patio with a massive paella pan. This one was smaller individual paella’s in a cast iron skillet and the sear on that chicken thigh was to die for. Very tasty dish, I highly recommend! I wish they’d host a night where they teach how to make paella at home.
Manager was very accommodating when our table wasn’t ready, and provided the table with wine! Great food and awesome service! Live music on the weekends
Michael is an excellent server. Also, on previous visits, we have enjoyed his music.
Building was cold when we arrived and being seated near a window didn’t help - but it eventually warmed up.
There were 5 of us and we were seated at a table for 4. I sat at the end, but there was no place for my legs - table legs in the way. Quite uncomfortable.
As the restaurant was empty, why not give us a larger table?
Five guests- food arrived at 3 separate times, but it was hot, so I guess that was the intention.
We all loved the food, but the after-church crowd is not Tres’ target audience.
We’ll definitely go back, but probably not for Sunday brunch.
The food was decent but based on other reviews we were expecting more. Our table was wobbly, I didn’t have utensils, and our server was very short and not friendly. Also, we went there for my birthday, and that was noted on our reservation. I don’t expect a lot of fanfare, but I do at least expect someone to mention it when it’s noted on the reservation. With as many top-notch restaurants in that area, we will be trying other places in the future.
I absolutely love this place. The location is mildly hidden amounts corporate buildings, keeping it quiet and making it almost feel like a getaway. The food was plated beautifully and the servers and manager were so sweet. It was a great experience and I can’t wait for our next date night.
Awesome food, fantastic service, great menu selection, comfortable atmosphere, super clean, and the staff was first-rate.
Our Anniversary - loved our server.
I have been here twice. While the food is good the service is slow and the food never comes out at the same time. It does not make me want to come back.
What a surprise! We just thought it was going to be “another gastro pub” when we walked in. Ambiance is nice and clean but nothing great. But the food. Wow! The food is truly special! Different! They take risks! And the risks have paid off! We come from Canada to Phoenix regularly as we have a home here. This is our new go-to restaurant in Phoenix area. This is not an elegant fancy night out. But if you want a great and simple night out with just your wife, or family, or friends, where the food is truly excellent..... go to this place!!!! My compliments to the chef and manager!!!!
PS. The olives are unbelievably amazing!
Absolutely fabulous food! The flavors are wonderful. The pork wings to die for.
Service was slow. Took an extra 15 mins after all the food was brought to the table to get our pork flatbreads.
Tres never disappoints! This is such a great foodie restaurant to visit. The menu is outstanding and the market options are always fun to try something different. The flavors profiles of many items on the menu are unique. Spices galore which is such a welcome mat to humdrum chain restaurants. Love the outdoor seating area and excited to be able to enjoy now that the weather is getting fall-ish!
Great food and service. The lamp sliders were beautifully seasoned. Loved them.
Great food and great staff! I wouldn't change a thing!
Table not ready, offered high stool for 5 yr old, left after 20 min waiting
A random find on Opentable turned to a great find on Opentable! The food was spectacular! All the plates are sharing plates so everyone got to try everything. I would definitely go there again and recommend it to anyone.
Delicious Mediterranean food! The overall experience; i.e., food, service, cocktails and ambiance, was great. My only issue would be that the cocktails and deserts are a little pricey as compared to other restaurants in the area: deserts are $9 and cocktails start at $10, but overall great food and ambiance at this restaurant.
Great food! My friends and I enjoyed celebrating a birthday and the service was great!! The only complaint was the noise level due to the music being too loud.
Our family was pleasantly surprised by a great calamari appetizer.
The entire dining experience was phenomenal! Easy reservations for 4 (small birthday surprise dinner), got a high top table near the kitchen so we could see dishes being assembled, huge drink selection, highly suggested food dishes did not disappoint and lastly had live music, a keyboard, playing in the background. We even took advantage of the “photobooth” near the hostess stand before leaving. So glad to find this place to enjoy dinner and will definitely be returning soon!
A wonderful evening with friends. Michael on the piano and waitstaff with Stella was wonderful. Food was outstanding .
I cannot give five stars...because I have only had one dish at the restaurant, which was a delicious Arizona Salad. But, I view 5 stars seriously and will not give it to a salad, even if it is very good...just who I am. I really like the ambience of the restaurant, however, have no idea how noisy it will be. It appears to have had that same mentality of making the acoustics allow for echo, so the restaurant seems more vibrant. I am not a fan of that at all....that said, it was very slow the day we went to lunch there, so I cannot say if it will be a noisy place or not. The music was at a good volume, and I could easily talk without shouting to my companion. ( I wish restaurants would get over that noisy trend. I want to go and actually talk to people with me, not yell. )
The fact that I immediately told three people to try it out, tells you that I feel they have a good menu selection that I am wanting to return to taste more. The location is fairly "hidden" ....not on any main road...so I am wanting to make sure to make people know it exists so they will stay in business.
Have been here multiple times, every time I come I am pleased with the service. The paella is delicious and many other dishes are tasty.
The Food is outstanding, very creative and upscale for such an unusual location. Service by Michael could not have been better. We will return.
Reservation offered hightop seating option which we thought would be great. When we arrived - on time, we were told another party, "was just seated at the last available hightop". Why offer on OpenTable if isn't followed through?
