I absolutely love this place. The location is mildly hidden amounts corporate buildings, keeping it quiet and making it almost feel like a getaway. The food was plated beautifully and the servers and manager were so sweet. It was a great experience and I can’t wait for our next date night.
Awesome food, fantastic service, great menu selection, comfortable atmosphere, super clean, and the staff was first-rate.
I have been here twice. While the food is good the service is slow and the food never comes out at the same time. It does not make me want to come back.
What a surprise! We just thought it was going to be “another gastro pub” when we walked in. Ambiance is nice and clean but nothing great. But the food. Wow! The food is truly special! Different! They take risks! And the risks have paid off! We come from Canada to Phoenix regularly as we have a home here. This is our new go-to restaurant in Phoenix area. This is not an elegant fancy night out. But if you want a great and simple night out with just your wife, or family, or friends, where the food is truly excellent..... go to this place!!!! My compliments to the chef and manager!!!!
PS. The olives are unbelievably amazing!
Absolutely fabulous food! The flavors are wonderful. The pork wings to die for.
Service was slow. Took an extra 15 mins after all the food was brought to the table to get our pork flatbreads.
Tres never disappoints! This is such a great foodie restaurant to visit. The menu is outstanding and the market options are always fun to try something different. The flavors profiles of many items on the menu are unique. Spices galore which is such a welcome mat to humdrum chain restaurants. Love the outdoor seating area and excited to be able to enjoy now that the weather is getting fall-ish!
Great food and service. The lamp sliders were beautifully seasoned. Loved them.
Great food and great staff! I wouldn't change a thing!
Table not ready, offered high stool for 5 yr old, left after 20 min waiting
A random find on Opentable turned to a great find on Opentable! The food was spectacular! All the plates are sharing plates so everyone got to try everything. I would definitely go there again and recommend it to anyone.
Delicious Mediterranean food! The overall experience; i.e., food, service, cocktails and ambiance, was great. My only issue would be that the cocktails and deserts are a little pricey as compared to other restaurants in the area: deserts are $9 and cocktails start at $10, but overall great food and ambiance at this restaurant.
Great food! My friends and I enjoyed celebrating a birthday and the service was great!! The only complaint was the noise level due to the music being too loud.
Our family was pleasantly surprised by a great calamari appetizer.
The entire dining experience was phenomenal! Easy reservations for 4 (small birthday surprise dinner), got a high top table near the kitchen so we could see dishes being assembled, huge drink selection, highly suggested food dishes did not disappoint and lastly had live music, a keyboard, playing in the background. We even took advantage of the “photobooth” near the hostess stand before leaving. So glad to find this place to enjoy dinner and will definitely be returning soon!
A wonderful evening with friends. Michael on the piano and waitstaff with Stella was wonderful. Food was outstanding .
I cannot give five stars...because I have only had one dish at the restaurant, which was a delicious Arizona Salad. But, I view 5 stars seriously and will not give it to a salad, even if it is very good...just who I am. I really like the ambience of the restaurant, however, have no idea how noisy it will be. It appears to have had that same mentality of making the acoustics allow for echo, so the restaurant seems more vibrant. I am not a fan of that at all....that said, it was very slow the day we went to lunch there, so I cannot say if it will be a noisy place or not. The music was at a good volume, and I could easily talk without shouting to my companion. ( I wish restaurants would get over that noisy trend. I want to go and actually talk to people with me, not yell. )
The fact that I immediately told three people to try it out, tells you that I feel they have a good menu selection that I am wanting to return to taste more. The location is fairly "hidden" ....not on any main road...so I am wanting to make sure to make people know it exists so they will stay in business.
Have been here multiple times, every time I come I am pleased with the service. The paella is delicious and many other dishes are tasty.
The Food is outstanding, very creative and upscale for such an unusual location. Service by Michael could not have been better. We will return.
Reservation offered hightop seating option which we thought would be great. When we arrived - on time, we were told another party, "was just seated at the last available hightop". Why offer on OpenTable if isn't followed through?
We enjoyed the varied menu and all the food was very good. Our server was not very friendly, but did an adequate job. The restaurant was very noisy.
The food at Tres is spot on! Absolutely flavorful and delicious. Only downside for this establishment is how loud it is. We dined on a Friday night at 6:30-8pm and the noise level was ridiculously way too loud to fully enjoy our meal. There was a girl singing along with playing a guitar, we didn’t understand a word she said nor could even make out the music she was playing. We will definitely be back as we enjoy the food so much, just wish they could figure out how to tone the acoustics of the location.
pricey for what we got but excellent food and drinks.
The food is excellent. Attractive architecture and ambiance.
We went on Paella night. The musician was so loud we could not speak to the other members of our party or the waiter.
The food is freshly prepared to order and is delicious. The ambiance is modern/contemporary and very attractive. Tres is a little difficult to find but is worth the effort go locate. Tres has become one of our favorite restaurants.
A little cold and noisy
GREAT Place!! 1st time visit and got lucky to get the chefs table to watch them cook! Good ambiance and atmosphere. Good drink selections and awesome food!
Love the pistachio pesto Verde Flatbread!!
So happy I Googled restaurants off 101 to meet up with a friend !! Fun little spot that was super tasty! Definitely will recommend & be back
So we have been to TRES many times (>20) since it first opened ... Since corporate came in and reviewed and revamped service and offerings the experience has been rapidly deteriorating. I suggest avoiding TRES until several outstanding reviews appear in the public space.
To try. I thought food was great. My husband thought it was average. The service was great once we got a waitress.
This place is pretty tucked away and I only found out about it through a friend. I've never seen it advertised. I do hope they're able to stay open it wasn't busy at all the food was worth going back for service was excellent and it's such a welcoming place indoor outdoor seating.
Definitely going back now that it's open for lunch
Came for the Paella as a reminder of our visit to Spain. It was above mark - as is all the cuisine we have enjoyed at Tres. Also ordered the lamb sliders — cannot recommend more as these are true savory bombs = most delicious. Excellent service by Haley. Can’t wait to return.
Great, attentive service. We went off hours, when restaurant was nearly empty. Suspect might be noisy when busy, based on interior design. Shared paella, which was okay, but not outstanding. Overall, nice experience.
Recommended with the following caveats: It's a sports bar with fancier food & drinks. Interior very noisy, too many high-tops. Outside OK in good weather, but don't sit too near the misters. Courses came out piecemeal until we requested main course come out together.. Fish was very good. Steak was tasty but tough. Again, restaurant week was the excuse for less than desired service but I don't buy it.
I’ve been here before and both the food and service were awesome, however this visit was not this way at all!!
It was extremely loud due to the live music and it was hard to find a place quiet enough to talk with our friends.
We also started with one waiter and sometime during our meal we got a new waiter. We never saw the first waiter again and the manager didn’t even know we got someone knew. We aren’t sure why they switched.
Our food arrived shortly after our appetizer giving us little time between courses. 2 out of 3 entrees arrived together while the other member of our party had to wait for their food. One of the burgers was also missing at least 1 of the ingredients.
Unfortunately this was the first time my husband and our friends had been to this restaurant. I don’t think any of them want to go back.
Place was packed and grossly understaffed. Took 20 mins for them to acknowledge us after we were seated. Took our drink order and got our drinks 15 mins later. Must have been a fill in bartender as the drinks had way too much syrup.
Ordered off the Arizona Restaurant week menu. As I understand it, the items featured on the special menu are your show case, signature items. We ordered at the same time, our two dishes came out at different times. My steak was cold and her sea bass was over cooked. We are very tolerant and don’t complain but there are bad places out there, this is one of them. The waitress was very apologetic and said she would speak to her manager. She then came back to report that he was too busy and “everyone in the restaurant is mad”. Unbelievable!
I have been to Tres at least 7 times. Love the bacon wrapped date and prickly pear margarita. Will be back.
So delicious! Cannot wait to return!
