   Wonderful experience and the Wade staff and bartenders phenomenal. Definitely recommend as if it is delicious and the French value cannot be compared as the $15 fine with Melissa’s is exceptional.

   Overall a good meal and service what was weird and unexpected was the 4% Credit card fee. If you pay cash you pay a cheaper price and if you use a credit card you have to pay the price of the meal plus an extra 4%? When did restaurants in New Orleans become like gas stations from up north?

   The hostess seated us next to where the servers picked up tableware, but we understood that we were only two people. One server took our drink order then another came to take it again. A different server brought the drinks and took our food order. Luckily we were next to the extra silver because I helped myself to a spoon to eat. The entrees were brought by yet another server then we were never glanced at much less spoken to again until I flagged down the hostess for dessert menu. We had a good laugh with the table next to us who had difficulty with their clueless server. We ended up walking to the door where the hostess came back and we asked for our bill. They lost out on our coffee and dessert order.

   I would have given five stars all around, except when I initially entered the establishment, the hostess said that they were full for the evening and there was no openings. I turned around and walked outside and booked a table via OpenTable app for within the next 15 minutes. Glad I made the reservation cause the food was absolutely FANTASTIC. The fried green tomatoes with crawfish ettuoffe was out of this world.

   The service was good. They seated us immediately and provided an overview of the menu. I ate the sampler which was good, not great. The grits were really tasty. It was a bit loud in there as we sat near the bar. The restroom is out in the hotel lobby and a bit hard to find. They were accommodating as we required individual bills.

    Just average. Lunch menu was quite small and lackluster. It is a typical hotel restaurant, not a great restaurant that happens to be in a hotel. Server and hostess were very nice and accommodating.

    The redfish was delicious. The Apps/ duck confit and the shrimp and crab bienville oysters were excellent. The bread pudding was over cooked, but the overall experience was good.

    The food was excellent - great choices for those looking for southern comfort food and more standard fare. But the tables were close together, the benches were to low compared to the chairs, and the noise level was too high for comfortable conversation.

    Chargrilled oysters are amazing! The Intercontinental are by far the BEST! Shrimp and grits was phenomenal and The Muffi sandwich also, fantastic! Can’t go wrong with bottomless mimosas! Great brunch! Would definitely recommend!

    Reading the reviews I was expecting something classy. It’s a restaurant of an hotel. Food is average, does not seem very close to the tradition. Kitchen doors are in front of the tables and the smell of cooking gets out very easily.

    Least memorable dining experience in NOLA in 5 nights. Bar service was painfully slow-and the liquor options were limited. The oysters were flavorless and the crowd noise volume was very high. Given all the excellent dining options in this city, this is not a place I would return to.

    Everything was delicious. We tried sooo many things. Our favorites are the brie burger, the crawfish pie, Boudan balls, and the butter cake desert, and the gumbo..crazy good The one thing that was disappointing was the crab bisque, very thin and not enough flavor.     we’ve been to trenasse a few times before so we knew we already loved their oysters. i had made our reservation for the patio about a month prior to our visit. upon arrival at trenasse we were told there were no available outdoor tables ‘unless we were willing to sit at a small table’. Being only 3 of us, we said yes to the small table. We realized when we got to the table that this was a two person table. It took a very long time to receive our drinks and cracklins. Our waitress was very good, and she personally made an effort to get those items for us. We ordered the oyster log and some garlic bread. Between the 3 drinks, 2 of 3 side plates and just the oyster log, we had no space on our table. i held my plate over my lap as i ate and the garlic bread was sitting half way off the table. our waitress did speak to the hostess about moving us to a larger table but we did not get moved. all in all, it was disappointing that we had a very cramped dining experience (even though our reservation had been made for the patio). that being said, our waitress and the food were excellent. we are still likely to go back and do hope for a better experience next time.

    Disappointed overall- No large chilled still water. Crab soup came to the table cold and when brought back it was so hot, it could not be eaten. We came for the white chocolate bread pudding advertised on your web menu only to be told they had none. Pink shrimp and fried green tomatoes were good.

    Very good for late dining. Raw oysters were great. I had the redfish this time, & would certainly order it again, but there are lots of good choices. Bartender makes a good Old Fashioned. My waitress was named Thera & was very attentive, but not overbearing. She knew how to time the meal perfectly.

    Dinner experience first class, much due to a very attentive and enthusiastic staff. The wine list has some really good wines and the fish dishes are really well prepared! This restaurant makes you leave with a smile and a desire to come back!

    I had the Taste of Trenasse. I've had this entree twice before and it was outstanding. On this occasion, the pastry on top of the crawfish pie was undercooked and the fish was overcooked. Two out of three is not bad. I will order it again; I think it was just an off night. Two nights later, others in our party ordered the crawfish pie, and they said it was outstanding.

    A thoroughly disappointing Sunday night choice. Overly noisy main dining area. Couldn’t have a conversation without shouting. Pretty soon guests at all tables shouting at each other. Crab cakes entre special sold out by 6:30. Ordered only appetizers instead. Took 45 minutes, then order was wrong. One appetizer never appeared and had to cancel it. Child’s Mac n cheese delayed beyond adult appetizers. Largely ignored by our server. Crawfish appetizer was mostly crust and sauce.

    We had a great evening at Trenasse. Excellent and knowledgeable service. Boudin balls were spot on as a starter. Thoroughly enjoyed the crawfish pie--a novelty for us visitors from Colorado. Highly recommend this cozy, smallish restaurant for high quality at value prices.
