Chicken, duck confit, house andouille. Entrée soup served with Hot Garlic Bread
creamy crawfish étouffée baked in a handmade crust
We celebrated our daughter’s birthday at Trenasse during a family trip to New Orleans. The food and service was impeccable. Our server “K” was attentive and courteous. Everything from the drinks, the appetizers, and the entrées were absolutely delicious. Make sure you order the bread. It is delicious and comes with a red bean butter. That is the best butter I’ve ever tasted! For entrees we ordered the shrimp and grits, stinky stew, NY Strip, a hamburger and the cauliflower steak. All were very good. Dining at Trenasse was a great experience and we look forward to returning soon.
We had a really great experience. We ordered the Rockefeller Oysters, stinky stew and fresh catch. The food was really good and the staff was very nice! We highly recommend!
It was amazing dinner! Brian was super friendly and we will be back
It was great from start to finish, our waitress was great the food was prefect
Great lunch spot. Outstanding New Orleans food!
Absolutely loved this place! The service, food and atmosphere was perfect. Our waiter was brilliant on the menu and handled our daughter’s food allergy needs with great care and wisdom.
The experience , food , drinks and staff were amazing! Will definitely be back !!
Fantastic food, servers were very professional and informative. Will definitely go back.
Tasty, well-prepared local dishes. The seafood will bring me back.
Great food & great service - hard surfaces make some conversations a challenge
The food was very good. My husband had the crawfish pie and I had the shrimp and grits. Unfortunately our server disappeared after taking our order and we went nearly the entire meal without drink refills.
The inside of the restaurant is lovely. I don’t recommend the outdoor option we selected. The patio is on an alley across from a parking deck and there were vagrants and dog walkers next to where we were eating our meal.
Relaxing ambience, delicious food with appealing presentation, good happy hour drinks and prices, and great service with no wait. We stayed at the hotel and it was busy during our entire stay.
Awesome food, wonderful service! Highly recommend to locals and tourists!
The food was fabulous. We had the oyster log of 36 oysters and were not disappointed along with a few appetizers.
I had requested a window table. We were put at a table in a dark side area off main dining room. We waited 10 minutes for someone to take care of us. Our waiter seemed to be overworked.
Nice ambience and good food. Selection is on the smaller side but quality is good. Got my order slightly wrong the first time but promptly fixed. Good outdoor seating. Located in the Intercontinental hotel building.
Greta Service and Food. The bartender, Khryschain, was very nice and made us a great after dinner drink!!
Stylish yet casual--good spot to share some classic New Orleans fare. The gruyere and pancetta oysters were awesome!
Best burger and bbq shrimp I’ve ever had !!
Family was here on vacation. Trenasse was a place that was recommended by one of our hotel workers. We went to the restaurant and enjoyed the place and meal.
The oysters and cauliflower were wonderful.
The dessert not so much.
Table was not flat , had to hold table down and drinks were trying to slide off table , we looked at menu online and arrived of course with all but what we originally wanted.
Our waitress, Caroline, did an amazing job. Dominique was an amazing tram member and helped her when she got double booked. The blackened mahi was amazing!
We were seated earlier than our reservation time, which was great. The waitress was very knowledgeable and kind. Our food came out hot and delicious. The only complaint was that they ran out of raw oysters 2 hours prior to closing.
Delicious brunch in the Central Business District. Go for the live music!
Best eggs benny, beautiful decor and patio, good live music
The food was fabulous and the mimosas yum!
The so was very good we enjoyed ourselves and we will go back
It was good I was very happy with the service and quality of the food. My only complaint is short ribs weren’t available.
Dinner was delicious. Their menu is small which I like because everything on it looked
amazing. We will be back.
Fantastic food and service. The Manager personally came to my table to ask if everything was enjoyable and it definitely was fantastic.
The service was amazing and so was the food.Alaina(not sure of the spelling) was amazing!
We had a great meal and a good variety of dishes.
The outdoor setting was excellent. Menu choices were interesting seafood variations
Fish was cooked perfectly and the grits were great. The service didn’t match the food though but I would still go back because the fish was so good.
Tiffany was our server, she did a phenomenal job. She made sure we had everything we needed without having us to ask, she moved us into a private setting due to the noise level of a huge party. Will be coming back and also looking for Tiffany!
Great food for everyone. My NY Strip was maybe the best I’ve ever had, my brother and dad had the stew and loved the broth, and my mother has the scallops and said they were amazing. A must stop if going to New Orleans!!!
Was sat and 40 min later…no water was brought. Waiter was awful. I went to bar to get water and the bar tenders basically ignored me until I forced them to acknowledge me…they gave me 2 cups of water in a plastic cup…I had to request ice. Worst experience of my life.
The food wash excellent. The crispy boudin balls we’re outstanding and the four of us shared one order. The gumbo, crawfish pie, red fish and shrimp and grits exceeded our expectations. And the desserts, while only offering a few choices, were delicious. Try the crème brûlée and a chocolate tart!
The service was fantastic. I felt lucky to get a reservation with this well reviewed spot. The boudin balls were perfect.
I wasn’t impressed. It was a little noisy and very smokey. I ordered chargrilled oysters that were semi raw and I ordered shrimp and grits, but the grits were nonexistent.
