Such a good and fun restaurant. Tremont 647 will be missed!
We will miss you, Tremont! Thanks for all of the memories!
Will miss this place! One of the best!
Always great. Sorry it's closing but it's been a great 21 years.
Good thing this place is going out of business.
A 7 PM reservation didn't have entrees until 8:40 PM.... And then they were whisking away the plates of the guys by 8:55 PM?! But who can blame them for eating fast -at that point we were all starving. And now, to top it off, my stomach feels off.
The people who work there are authentically nice but I don't know why the front and back of house can't communicate.
This is my absolute favorite brunch spot in Boston!! The staff, food, and ambiance are out of this world. I’m really going to miss this place.
I’m seriously going to miss this place. Taco Tuesdays, with the amazing flavor combos, and the cheladas, will never be the same...
Cornbread was unreal and the staff was awesome. Happy we got to try it before they close down after 21 long years of amazing service. Can't wait to get to smoke shop tho!
Fried chicken was amazing! Everything else was way too salty. We got the chilaquiles, too salty, the pork confit salad, too salty, and one other app that was too salty!
We were there to celebrate our birthday brunch and were completely ignored. We weren’t given one waiter, so random people kept coming to our table not knowing if we had already ordered or not. The poptart, which was supposed to be great, was horrific. It was essentially a huge 11 dollar clump of puff pastry with little to no filling. The chicken and waffle balls were inedible, and even something as simple as eggs benedict tasted bizarre, overpowered by a lemon taste. The other patrons were belligerently hammered and screaming nonstop. This was a horrible experience.
My friends and I (7 of us) has a reservation for 1pm. We were all there on time or 10 minutes early. We were not seated until 1:25pm. We asked what the issue was and they stated our table was still being used. We sat down and our waitress was extremely unfriendly. We didn’t feel like she cared to be there whatsoever. The food and drinks however were unbelievable. I would go back solely for the food. But as my first time there I was disappointed with the experience.
Excellent brunch option! Came with a party of 8 for a birthday and everything was perfect.
I have nothing but compliments for everyone - chefs, servers, even runners! All staff were wonderful, accommodating, and friendly, and food (and drinks) were to die for.
Would highly recommend to anyone for brunch!
Great burgers
Great food!
I came here with a girl friend for brunch. The volume was loud a lot of people having a good time and talking, I felt j had to speak louder than I usually do so that my friend can hear me. The attire is casual, we came here on Sunday, PJ wear for the servers.
The food was a wonderful portions, I felt full when leaving. I had the spinach Benny and it was super yummy. The spinach on the Benny has a hint of lemon. There are a lot of cooked spinach which I love. I thought the eggs were a little over cooked since I like my yikes runny. My friend had a salad and she ate 3/4 of it and felt full. We also had the bbq fries which I loved.
My friend thought the coffee was terrible and she's not a coffee snob.
Love it here!
Food is pretty standard as far as the menu goes. Its tasty. Beer options could be better. Wait staff is great!! Ambiance is kind of dull - bright lighting, so not great for a romantic dinner. I think they should revamp the place a bit, but I do like the food.
Went for my friend's 21st and had a fantastic time! The food was creative and tasty but the real kicker was the fun staff and imaginative drinks ! We felt so welcomed and had a great time celebrating with the staff of 647. PS Try the Tremont Tang!
Decent food, nice staff. They ran out of several menu options which was a bit disappointing. Overall good experience.
Great service and food as always. Chara our waitress was awesome.
Best place to eat in Boston, any time any day!
We were seated 25 min late despite reservations, but when we were seated it was all worth it! Mimosas and French toast sticks made up for it all!
Great service
Intimate setting
Owner managed-makes a big difference
We went for the Christmas Eve special menu. Everything was delicious, especially the fried chicken, corn bread, and biscuits. Additionally, the cocktails were outstanding. We will definitely return to try their regular menus.
Multiple meals at Tremont 647, mostly for brunch, but never disappointing! Creative, great staff, no long wait times once the food is ordered. Good neighborhood dining and bar.
great pajama brunch - all wait-staff was so friendly and attentive. great food! drinks were really good too.
647 and the pajama brunch are neighborhood institutions. We arrived to a packed house 5 minutes after our reservation time and were immediately seated. The first table offered was not going to work—I could see my chair being repeatedly whacked by a swinging shutter hiding the service alcove behind me—but we were immediately given a good alternative. Service was maybe a little slow because the place was so jammed, but our server was apologetic and it was really not a problem at all. Food was great, as always—never had a bad meal here. I *would* like a flute rather than a wine glass when I order a carafe of mimosas, but it’s hardly the end of the world.
Consistently very good food. Always a lively atmosphere, especially for brunch on weekends.
We have been to Tremont 647 a bunch of times over the years. Almost always have really enjoyed it. We were disappointed this past time as the salmon did not taste fresh. Never had that experience before and will return...and hope for better.
Would recommend for brunch; not so much for dinner. Options and ambience are overpriced. However some food is okay (would recommend Brussels sprouts and the corn bread). Menu seems geared towards day time
Great brunch
We arrived early for our pre-theater dinner but were greeted warmly and seated. Our waiter was knowledgable, friendly and professional. He read my mind in suggesting the fried brussels sprouts because I really wanted to order them, but was hesitating. Our food was delicious. The aforementioned b. sprouts were served with a spicy sauce that provided just the right kick.
My Adobo tofu tacos were incredible. My date had two appetizers for his meal, dumplings and the special - bay scallops. He raved about them.
The cocktail list was a fun read. They clearly take their mixed drinks seriously. I had the Fig Old Fashioned. Perfect. We were out on time to get to the Huntington for a 7:30 p.m. curtain. Good thing we had to go, or we would totally have stayed for dessert.
Great service. Great food. Love the seasonal menu. Have gone before and will continue to keep visiting this spot.
The dumpling appetizer and bourbon mule were fabulous!
Love this place! Tacos are legit!! Staff is the best here.
I was quite disappointed with this visit. I brought a friend for her birthday and both of us had the salmon. It was pretty mediocre. Our cocktails were not great. I had two sips of mine, but the waiter never questioned it. My water glass was empty for almost the entire meal. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. Tremont 647 used to be one of my favorites, but this was definitely a miss.
Great brunch!!
The service and atmosphere are good. The drinks are good. The food is fair, at best. This is a good neighborhood place if you want cocktails and a quick comfort food type deal.
The food is tasty, but we didn't have the best experience with service. It must have been a bad day, as we received very little attention & care during brunch on Saturday. The food arrived 50 minutes after we put in our order. The waitress was hard to spot and find and she did not seem to consider this delay important.
We requested a quiet area for sitting since one of our guests has a hearing impairment- the restaurant accommodated us with a booth at the end of the restaurant. The food was delicious and our server was amazing.
