We’ve had lunch here many times. This was our first dinner. A wonderful experience with the lights and cool air. Quiet, peaceful and very enjoyable. Excellent food and very good service. I think Treehouse Cafe is a hidden gem in Carmel.

Wonderful service, great food. Glad we landed here for supper. Met some really nice people with whom we chatted a lot with. The grilled Calimari, Monterey Bay Clam Chowder, and Russian Lamb Stroganoff were all great!

What a lovely night we had at Treehouse. The rain gently began and instantly the outdoor area (so beautiful) was alive with umbrellas sheltering us all and allowing us to enjoy the delicious food and wonderful service. I've read wonderful things about Treehouse over the years -- it was even better than the glowing reviews led us to hope. Go! Enjoy!

We each had the cioppino special with pasta. The broth is outstanding. It’s a light broth. Not the heavy tomato kind that you often times get elsewhere. The seafood was wonderful. Big juicy shrimp, salmon, mussels. The only short coming were the clams which were teeny. The tiramisu is also out of this world.

The food was delicious. I had the salmon, perfectly cooked with a wonderful sauce, and my husband had the chicken kabobs, which were tender and moist and flavorful. The staff were friendly and attentive and the service was flawless. This is really an unexpected gem of a restaurant, and we will definitely return whenever we visit Carmel.

My favorite aspect about our experience at Treehouse Cafe was probably…the treehouse! Dining outside under the lights and stars in the trees on the elevated deck was just a beautiful setting. The other memorable feature of our evening was our server. At a time when people complain that their service is rushed or servers are indifferent etc, we found our server to be exceptionally kind and responsive. He checked in with us at the appropriate moments, never pushed us to hurry or leave, and made excellent suggestions. We felt valued by all of the warm thanks as we checked in and again as we left. Oh and the food, by the was was great! We had salmon and sea bass, both done quite well with enough side dishes to satisfy. There was warm bread and olive oil that we polished off as well. Very fresh and light. We had room for 2 desserts to share-the cheesecake and chocolate cake. Recommend! We would absolutely recommend and return! In fact we did recommend already.

Treehouse is consistently one of our favorites. First, the deck in the trees is amazing. In addition, the food and service are outstanding. Attentive, but not overbearing service is so uncommon these days. The food is delicious. Our group ordered a variety of items. Chicken shish k bob was called the best ever. Finally, the price is affordable and worth the value, Our only question is why haven’t we been here more often this summer!

Reserved an outdoor table and they overbooked outside. Vegetable pasta had only a few vegetables except for tomatoes and was a tad gloppy and overly sauced . Bread and pesto pasta were good. The Greek salad had lettuce and only a few tomatoes. Weould have preferred cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions and a block of feta and oregano- like in Greece

Cuisine will satisfy Italian and Mediterranean cravings. Service was fast and efficient , about one hour, 15 min for apps, entree and dessert. Tight fit indoor but well spaced outside patio.
