Was quite tranquil at lunch time with only 3 tables occupied. The setting is very beautiful. Immediately after being seated we requested deck heaters be turned on (as did another patron) due to the chill in the air. We were happily accommodated but ours went out shortly after being lit. It was out of propane and no attempt was made to replace the tank during our meal.
Absolutely wonderful! Already recommending it to our friends!!
As lovers of trees and nature, dining at Treetops was on our bucketlist. We finally went, and are planning to return soon! We had baked ricotta w berries and scallops for appetizers. My seafood dish was delightful and my husband said he had the best filet ever. The autumn-themed drinks were delicious and had just the right amount of booze. (Not too much, not too little.) We finished off our meal with the flourless chocolate cake! Service was outstanding and the environment was perfect!
The setting is incredible. The steaks are truly tender and mine was cooked med rare as I asked for it. There are a couple of things that bothered me like I ordered the baked ricotta with berries appetizer and it came with garlic herb croutons. That didn't go together at all. The other thing worth mentioning is everything needed more salt and they don't have it on the table, like a lot of places right now. I just felt for a place of this caliber that was odd. I did have my vegetables go cold very quickly and when I mentioned it to the waitress she immediately got a hot new batch. As of our visit, they would take no more than 4 people to a reservation and reservations were staggered. We were a party of 8. It all worked out in the end, but we weren't able to sit at one table or arrive together. I'd say, save this for a special occasion. The fall is a beautiful time to be there.
This is such a wonderful spot and one that I want to visit again. The ambiance outside is so relaxing ......literally in the treetops ! Food is great and our wait staff /Linda did an excellent job of seating us for drinks/appetizers inside before securing an outside table for our meal. The entire property (Polymath Park)is a hidden gem .
Beautiful atmosphere, patrons were spaced far enough to keep Gov. Wolf happy. My only reason for my less-than-excellent star rating (4 1/2 out of 5) is that I asked for my espresso filet cooked medium.....I think it was more medium rare. Otherwise, all of our choices were superb. There's no question about it.....we'll be going back soon!
Really enjoyed our evening at Tree Tops restaurant except I asked about outdoor heaters which they said they had. Ours was not warm at all, it was a smaller unit and eventually we had to ask to be seated inside.
You must try Treetops! My husband and I went there for our anniversary and it was top notch! Our server was the most sweetest and attentive young lady. She shared with us that her family owned Treetops and gave us some history on it. The food and ambience was perfect!
We chose to eat outside. It cooled off the night we were there, but they had heaters outside, so we were quite comfortable. They had an acoustic guitar player there and he was great! We couldn't have had a better anniversary dinner/night. The food was fabulous! We both thought we had the best filet ever (so tender and juicy). Our waitress, Linda, was so attentive and personable. We will definitely be back!!!
We had such a wonderful experience celebrating some birthdays at the Tree Tops. Our server, Linda was friendly and great at making suggestions. We sat outside to take in the scenery despite the chilly night the heaters made for a cozy atmosphere. Our party of 4 enjoyed the scallops, the beef appetizer, and the ricotta with berries appetizer to get started. We also loved all the seasonal cocktails especially the pumpkin White Russian and pumpkin martini, they were like desserts in a glass! For our main course our party ordered from the filets including the pan fired, espresso, and the Gorgonzola. They were all excellently prepared and the sides were delicious. We were so stuffed from our amazing feast that we took dessert to go and it did not disappoint. The lemon cream cake and pumpkin cheesecake make for a great breakfast.
We will definitely be back for more delicious meals and wonderful times.
Thank you to the staff for their excellent work creating a welcoming and memorable experience!
This was everything I thought it would be and more!!! We live an hour + away but it was worth the drive. Beautiful scenery!!! Delicious food, great servers.
The service was amazing, the meal was one of the best we had in a LONG time. The scallops were delicious. The seafood and medallions were just as good! We loved the seasonal cocktail menu! We were too full for dessert. We will definitely be back!
My family and loved the restaurant and the food. We recommend it to anyone. It was a great experience.
Thank you! We are so glad you enjoyed your experience with us and hope to see you again soon!
Awesome food and beautiful restaurant. I would recommend to all my family and friends.
Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed your experience and hope to see you soon!
By far the best meal we have had in area and that includes Nemacolin. Great Salmon, scallops appetizer and excellent wine (Malbec). Setting was idyllic. Service friendly, attentive.
Thank you Ed! We are glad you enjoyed your evening with us!
The best dinner we have had in years. The appetizers were excellent. The salads over the top and the steak and fish were beyond good. The peanut butter dessert was my favorite
Thank you so much Beth, we are so happy you enjoyed your experience with us!
Loved Tree Tops! Wonderful experience all around. Excellent service, food, and scenic views. The owner's daughter even came out to greet us and make sure everything was okay. We learned about the history of the restaurant and are planning our next visit in the fall! Lovely place and a little getaway in nature. Highly recommend this gem!
Thank you so much Kaela!
Fantastic atmosphere, awesome food and great service.
Thank you Steve!
Service was very good. We had the brie appetizer, followed by the grilled salad. We wanted to try so many of the menu items so we ordered 3 meals for the 2 of us and took some food home. All of the meals were delicious. Only down side-I love coffee and it wasn't the best tasting coffee and they charge for refills. Considering the prices, I thought that was a bit out of line. But overall, very nice food, atmosphere, and service.
Thank you! See you again soon!
Excellent food and service. A bit pricey but would highly recommend
Had requested outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful weather on their beautiful deck. They said since we reserved on-line they didnt see the request. Ended up inside seating. Still beautiful, but was looking forward to the unique dining experience in the trees.
They also could not give us bread during meal because they say they only do one loaf per table. We ordered an appetizer that came with slices of a baquette...but I saw round loaves being taken to other tables. That was disappointing also.
Overall - great well kept secret! I've never heard of it before and we like to find different places to try.
We are glad you enjoyed your experience with us Laura! Be sure to book an outside table the next time you dine with us so that you are guaranteed the table you'd like!
Overall fantastic meal in a wonderful setting by a very hospitable staff
The food and service were beyond great. The fillet was so tender. You could cut it with a butter knife. Heirloom tomato risotto was so creamy and delicious. Our reservation was for 7:45 p.m. Would suggest that you go early in the evening. It was so too dark to enjoy the surroundings.
Well---sad to say, as much as I love the location and the service and people, my last two experiences were not great. My previous one, about 2 weeks ago found the halibut to be stringy. This last one we had the chicken with wild mushrooms. Chicken was tough. Actually left some on the plate. Sorry--just being honest. Will I go back---absolutely. will just skip the halibut and chicken.
Excellent dining experience.
Ascending the walkway to TreeTops Restaurant sets the scene of a most magical, delightful and Luscious dining experience. The hospitality is fabulous! Dan&I can’t wait to return!
Thank you Julia, we are so glad you enjoyed your evening with us!
We were there on Sept 10, 2020 and without a doubt we will be back. The baked Brie, the salad with walnuts, apples and feta, the filets that you could cut with a fork and the dessert were all amazing. First time ever I understand what a melt in your mouth steak is. Our waitress was wonderful. A little pricey, but the best there is. For directions..turn in at the Polymath Park sign. A GPS will not take you there.
Lovely quiet location. Friendly staff. Excellent food.
It was a long drive for average food. I was also given wrong meal. Waitress was arguing with another customer right in front of me. From what I heard the venue billed the guest wrong and rather than correcting it tried to blame others. Made me feel very uncomfortable standing there.
My apologies that you were unhappy. The best way to handle that would have been to ask for the manager. I have no idea who you or what your meals were, who you server was because your review is cloaked in anonymity. I would have gladly taken care of any concerns to rectify while you were here. Be well!
Lovely setting and great food.
We enjoyed the quietness and ambiance of the outdoor dining among the beautiful forest. The food was amazing. We had the filet and didn’t even need a steak knife! There was a guitarist playing softly in the background and small lanterns at each table. We had the scallops for an appetizer. They melted in your mouth! It’s truly a place to get away and enjoy each others company. Definitely not a place for families or children. It was a perfect getaway for a much needed date night. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
The steaks were delicious as well as the seafood. Things were definitely on the pricey side but the food was worth it.
It was a fancy place with calm music playing. I was not so impressed with my meal. For the price I was looking for melt in my mouth and flavorful steak. But there was no flavor at all. My guest loved their meals but I was upset at what I picked which was the Flamin Hot Pan. I would not be visiting this place any time soon.
Food and service were excellent
Our dinner was fabulous! We enjoyed being surrounded by the trees sipping prosecco and listening to the live music.
The scenery and experience was very nice but the cost for the lunches that we had was very expensive. This was probably a one time visit, but glad we did it.
Perfect! Food was as amazing as the setting.
Hard to evaluate this one time. I've eaten there a number of times and have found it to be excellent. This time---we were a little disappointed in the halibut. In a word it was "stringy" . not the "melt-in-your-mouth" fish we got before. Otherwise, is was wonderful. The guitar player was perfect---
We have been there on numerous occasions over the past few years.
We have never been disappointed.
We had lunch there today and because of Covid we sat out on their beautiful patio where there was safe distancing and all precautions were observed. It was ideal weather.
Their steak was done to perfection and didn’t need a steak knife. It was so tender. Their salads are always elegantly presented on a plank and they have a good choice with an excellent house dressing. Their orzo (theirs is my favorite) and broccolini side dishes were the perfect complement to a perfect meal.
My compliments to their chef and our charming server.
Me and my wife's favorite place to visit. Love the food and ambiance.
