Absolutely lovely experience in all aspects! Highly recommend!
Such a special environment with extraordinary service, presentation, and quality.
This was our first visit to Tree Tops and will not be our last. We were greeted and seated promptly. Recommendations for entrée were great. Salads were unique and delicious. We both had steaks that were cooked perfectly. Service was great with meal served at a nice pace so we were not rushed at all. Overall a great evening out.
I was there with a friend for his Birthday. We were also staying overnight at one of the Houses on grounds. The wait staff were great, warm and polite. Food was excellent. I ha d the braised Caesar Salad. Unexpected but very tasty. The entrees were excellent. And the desserts were really good.
It was a rainy, chilly night so no outdoor dining. But the dining room was warm and cozy.
Restaurant messaged me a few days prior to inquire if I still wanted outdoor dinning due to the weather being chilly. We were able to move indoors but very proactive on their part.
Chose this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend... did not disappoint! Exceeded our every expectation. Highly recommend the scallops and shrimp entrée. The house made cheesecake was the perfect finish. Will most definitely return.
The restaurant was absolutely unbelievable. It was gorgeous, the food was amazing, and our server Danielle could not have been any better. We will absolutely be going back for all our special occasions!
As I'm sure this is no surprise, you are paying something of a premium for the connection to Frank Lloyd Wright, while the restaurant isn't truly connected to Wright at all. It is located in a beautiful woodsy spot. The food is better quality than you're going find anywhere else in Acme, PA; but the price matches and some.
I certainly don't mind paying for a good meal, but the service has got to be on point and ours wasn't. We waited for drinks, waited for refills, waited for menus, waited for dessert, waited forever for the bill. I don't recall a single time that our server checked the table other than when she was bringing something we ordered, which means we were thirsty at times.
The food was inconsistent, but overall pretty good. My wife got the grilled Caesar salad and thought it could be the best she ever ate. The steak I had was nicely cooked, but not so nicely seasoned. The whole meal needed salt and our table didn't have a salt shaker and half my dinner was eaten before our server walked by. I got a creme brulee that was burned in some spots and had raw sugar in other spots. It was an unsatisfying way to end a nice dinner.
The very best part of this place was the live music. There was an older man upstairs playing 60's and 70's rock in a mellow acoustic style and it was really nice.
We spent more than two hours having dinner, and at least a part of it was because the restaurant was terribly slow. The table next to us order a second glass of wine, waited a long time, so much so they were asking what happened to their server, and then had her return and tell the couple they ran out of that wine.
I'm hopeful it was an off night, but it's tough to get excited for a beautiful and rare date night and have it fall a little flat and then get $150 bill to top it off.
We may try it again in the summer to take advantage of the nice patio, but probably after we've forgotten some of the sour notes from this visit.
A lovely placed tucked in the scenic backroads. Quaint and secluded, TreeTops was a great date for our 1 year anniversary! I would love to come back for outdoor seating, once it's available.
We hope to see you again! The deck dining is amazing :)
Wonderful service. Wait staff was attentive and cocktails were great. Meals and desserts were delectable.
Wonderful meal and drinks.
Once again Tree Tops Restaurant met all of our expectations. We now consider ourselves regulars even though we may only dine there a couple times a year. We have never been anything but extremely satisfied with our experience. The meals are truly some of the finest dining in Western, Pa. We recommend only to a few people because only a few of our friends could fully appreciate the quality. We are anxiously awaiting the opening of the dining pods.
very nice all around. would recommend to anyone. Great job.
The filet and seafood were excellent along with the service! We absolutely loved everything about this place...food, service, and atmosphere!!
Love coming here for the salmon, architecture, views & will have to try outdoor dining when the weather warms up.
Accommodated my need for an alternate vegetable.
Very friendly staff & they warn you the experience is a bit slow.
Excellent dining experience. Food and service was amazing.
Service and food were outstanding. Sat by window and the scenery was beautiful but little details like the windows (not clean) and table next to us had plexiglass divider which was very awkward when someone was at the other table. Can't wait to come back for outside seating.
Had a great meal. Our server Skylar was attentive and efficient, we tried a little of everything and it was all delicious. The ambiance can’t be beat.
Great experience! Food was outstanding and nice sized portions.
We had such a lovely night at Treetops. Our meal was delicious...and let's just say, we weren't expecting much in the middle of the woods in Western PA. We love food and we love traveling...it's all about the experience and Treetops did not disappoint. My husband
and son order the filets which were melt in your mouth delicious and cooked to order. I had the trout...brown butter sauce...yes, please!! We had a carpaccio app that was really yummy and when we heard that the chef's dad makes the desserts...we were in! The carrot cake was divine. We can't wait to go back and eat in one of the tree top pods that are being built. Lovely evening! Thank you Treetops Crew!!
Wonderful location, food, service and overall experience. Felt perfectly safe and comfortable with Covid 19 standards.
Eileen, thank you so much for your kind words. We are thrilled you enjoyed your experience with us!
Compared to our first experience, this time was a bit disappointing. Although we were satisfied with our entrees and service, we felt it did not go above and beyond the dining that Tree Tops affords. It is a high end restaurant and seemed to fall a bit short of meeting that expectation.
Larry, we are so sorry to hear that you did not fully enjoy your experience at TreeTops. We wish you would have mentioned your dissatisfaction while dining with us so we could have amended the situation in person. We are family-owned and take pride in every guest experience. We do hope you will try us again. Stay well.
We had a wonderful first experience. Everything was perfect! Service was great and all of our meals were delicious. The ambiance was very welcoming. We look forward to telling others about our experience and can’t wait to return again!
Dee, thank you so much! We are so glad you enjoyed your experience.
Treetops is an amazing special place. Made my Birthday perfect.
Kim. thank you so much for celebrating your day with us. We are glad you enjoyed it! See you again soon.
There’s a place in a wood where the food pops . With dishes more fabled than Aesop’s.
If you go you will know, that all things that can grow, will taste better above in the TreeTops.
What lovely words! We appreciate your business and support!
Amazing!! One of a kind, highly recommend!
Thank you so much!
Nice restaurant not ideal table placement for a party of two (we where directly against a stone fireplace) it felt awkward.
Matt, we are sorry you didn't enjoy your seating arrangement. We unfortunately have limited space due to Covid restrictions and want to keep our guest safe. Next time let us know and we will happily accommodate you! Stay well.
Amazing place, amazing food and amazing service!! Definitely a must try!
Thank you Tina! We hope to see you again soon.
My sister and I ate here as a start to our weekend getaway and we where both throughly expressed with everything. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. The selection of food and drink had something for any taste bud. Our food was amazing. The plating was very artfully done and the flavors sung. I had the portobello ravioli and you could taste every ingredient. The food is also locally sourced which means it is fresh. If you have a special occasion or a first date you want to impress this is the spot. Can't wait to go back.
Emilie, we are so glad you and your sister enjoyed your evening. Please come back and see us again!
The Fillet was perfect, the salmon so sweet.
The shrimp wore hats of lump crab meat!
A property of wonders with mid century tilt.
One leg in the future, but Usonian built.
Where the music cascades from the rafters above, and Skylar, her service, uncommon white glove.
We’ll be back once again, in a future set nearly. The place is too good to come just semi-yearly.
A poet! Thank you so much for your kind words. We are so thrilled you enjoyed your experience with us!
The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were warm and welcoming. I was dining with my husband and children (ages 14 and 12) and everyone greatly enjoyed the food and ambiance.
We were so pleased with our experience and dinner at tree Tops that we will be returning very soon!!! From appetizer to dessert the chef did an amazing job with presentation and delivery. Our waitress, Skyler was excellent. It is fine dining in the Laurel Highlands! The appetizers we selected was the ricotta and brie and both were amazing! Kudos to the chef and staff!
We went to dinner to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. This is the second time we were here and the food was just as amazing. The venue is beautiful and service was great. Highly recommend!
You will need your GPS to find this restaurant. Located in a small park, this place serves excellent food. It is fine dining but the price and food are well worth it. Ask for a window seat so you can watch the forest and trees as you eat. They are presently constructing food pods outside so next year the outside dining will be excellent. The filet and the fish are my recommendations for an excellent meal. The menu is limited but the food is great. Drinks and wine are available to be purchased. An excellent experience. We will do it again!
This was our second visit to Tree Tops. We went with another couple that’s had never been to the restaurant. The food was excellent. It was a cold night and we were seated next to the fireplace...that wasn’t burning. It wasn’t a big deal, but would have been nice. What was really disappointing was that we had an 8:15 reservation and at 9 we were told “the kitchen is closed, but we’ll still make your food”. We were home by 10:30 from an 8:15 reservation...we live 35 minutes away. Talk about feeling rushed. We didn’t dare order dessert as “the kitchen was closed” and they were mopping the floors as we were finish. I understand wanting to close by a certain time, but adjust reservation times accordingly. Maybe don’t take reservations after 7:30? Great food, disappointing dinner. Especially disappointed since we had talked the restaurant up so much to our friends. Not a good first impression for them.
Great venue- the live music was wonderful and the food was outstanding.
It was very good, not great. Salads and appetizer were excellent. The main course was good.
great food, beautiful setting and service was excellent.
