Too cold in the restaurant and the Prosecco was not cold as it should be.
great service , food was delicious 😋
Looking forward to come back soon !!!
The menu is solid. I ordered a pasta with veal meat balls. The pasta was a bit overcooked and the meat balls were room temperature. The pasta was a long noodle and the utensils provided were a knife and a fork (rather than a spoon and a fork). Easily corrected but suggests it’s not the most authentic Italian experience.
Don’t go late!
No waiter, only Bar tender who doesn’t know the menu and is not interested in serving you.
Place felt like I was a nuisance coming in to eat at 9:30.
Like everyone wanted to go home and I was holding them up.
Food was not bad, it’s on the lighter side but still tasty.
Our server was very professional - trained in Europe. No “Hi, guys, my name is Whatever and I’ll be waiting on you tonight.” Service was excellent. The food was surprisingly delicious for a hotel restaurant. We had the spare ribs appetizer - middle eastern spices and very tender ; the spinach gnocchis - like a cloud light; and, the veal meatballs and pasta with a light marinara sauce - scrumptious. We were on our way to the theatre so we didn’t have dessert. The only downside to the experience was the various sets of stairs required to get to the dining area. It’s a small venue, so it’s quiet for conversation, which is a very welcome relief from the majority of restaurants today. We will definitely go back, especially before attending events in town.
Was there a year ago when they first opened and it was great. This time was mediocre. Lights were on full bright in the lobby but almost off in some parts of the restaurant.
Despite being 1 of 3 tables it took almost 20 min for our drink order. In general service was a bit slow. Once our food was finally in things went along a bit more smoothly but very bumpy at first arrival.
Needs to pay attention to the details of the ambiance and service levels. Maybe this is no longer a restaurant looking for local business and it’s only for hotel guests?
The food is very good so if they would work on the service and attention to detail it could be better. With so many choices in DC though not sure we will be back anytime soon
First, let me say that our waiter Sal was phenomenal. His suggestions on meals to wine were spot on. He was extremely friendly. Next, the food was next level. Fresh and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a great meal, with fantastic service. What else is there?
Lots of privacy and good food. I would return.
We had an reservation for dinner that my wife and I were very much looking forward to. We were also hotel guests for the weekend. We were sat by the hostess at our table. We were there for 15mins without anyone coming over to the table, we received no menus nor water. We observed the waitress helping other customers but she never stopped by our table. After 20min we decided to leave. As we were leaving we told the hostess that no one ever stop to help us. Apparently the person we saw waiting tables was a manager.
Friendly service, great food in a lovely hotel. It was a bit noisy from the kitchen and personnel level when I got there and ruined some of the mood of my meal, but maybe it was because I came toward the end of the night and the staff was antsy to get home. I would return for the food, though.
Unfortunately, their brunch menu is basically the same as the breakfast menu, with only salads as a more lunch like item (maybe steak and egg). The food tasted just fine, but nothing special, except that they had a really good green sauce with the bacon wrapped dates and a really good house hot sauce. The omelet only had a very few mushroom slices and scant spinach, but with a good amount of goat cheese. Despite the goat cheese, it was pretty bland but was much improved with the hot sauce (have to ask for it).
Amazing food a true neighborhood gem! A must visit place
This is a great restaurant! Service was excellent and food was brilliant. Price was very reasonable.
Good ambiance. While the food was okay, I thought it was pricey for the amount of food provided.
Excellent food, good, friendly, competent server. Pretty loud, however...kept us from hearing each other unless we spoke very loudly.
Restaurant was adequate. Very convenient since it's located in the lobby of the hotel St. Gregory. It's a quiet cozy place when you are tired and hungry. There was no signage at the restaurant which confused guests.
Sauces could have been lighter and more flavorful for an authentic Italian cousin. It was my daughter’s 23 rd birthday and had notified in advance requesting a little something special for her. Nothing special was done, disappointing
My family was in DC for my sons college graduation. We all had dinner one of the nights at Tredici, the food was just Awesome. Tredici is most definitely one of those hidden gems we have come upon through all our time in DC. Our waiter Faye’s was friendly, personable and extremely knowledgeable who added to the overall positive experience of the evening. I would recommend Tredici to anyone while in DC.
Tredici is a find. Dining room blah but bar with limited seating is a cool place. Menu leans Mediterranean & really nice with lots of small plate options. Very reasonable prices considering in swanky hotel. Staff very service oriented.
The food was amazing! The drinks were very eclectic. We tried all three of their fresh pressed juices and the Bloody Maria. None of us drank more than a couple sips; all quite non traditional without having been advertised that way.
Service was courteous, but nothing outstanding. The food however was definitely worth coming back for (maybe they’ll do takeout?)
My experience at this restaurant was not great. We came because I had been before a few months ago and I’d loved the gnocchi dish (it had corn in the sauce and was amazing). However, when we got there, I saw that the menu had changed and there was now a different gnocchi dish. I understand that menus change and still got the gnocchi but it just wasn’t as good as before. Despite this unfortunate aspect, it is not why I scored the experience so low. Our waiter, though very nice, forgot our appetizer and kept forgetting what we had ordered after we said it. Their beer and wine selection that night was also not the best (limited options for beer and out of some wines). Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
Great food with perfect portions.
The food was great, the service was terrible. It was not busy, there were only 6 of us in the whole place and we were a party of 2. Thank goodness there was a food runner to drop off our food. The waitress was non-existent. The food is good enough to give it another try but if we get the same service we would not return.
The food is good, though a little oily. There are few smaller selections other than the menu where you can choose three or four items. It would be great to have a soup and be able to order a smaller salad.
The website is inconsistent with the menu, especially with the wines. The website shows two sizes of serving, with two different prices. That is not the case. $12 for a glass of the house wine also seems overpriced.
On the bright side, the staff is friendly and the restaurant is quiet and pleasant enough so that I have gone several times.
It was a good place for a Business lunch. Quality of food good, it has valet parking, service is also good, and the location in a commercial area to a good distance of center Washington and Georgetown makes it a good place for business encounters
The lunch deal was fantastic and I loved the space. The GM was very nice, but the server seemed a little out of it
Lovely meal! The ambiance is great for a date night, very quiet, fireplace, etc. Food was excellent. The chicken definitely stood out.
Menu has a nice variety. Salads were much better than the usual fare and very tasty. The brazino and salmon entrees were very nice and the accompanying vegetable again a cut above. The kitchen has a nice palate for vegetables.
This restaurant has a great ambiance and some really good food (the gnocchi is amazing!), though the service was a little slow and other dishes (the meat/cheese board and Joey flatbread) weren’t anything special. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely go back, but other than the gnocchi, I wouldn’t get the same dishes.
The server was terrible!
My husband and I made a last minute Valentine’s Day reservation at Tredici Enoteca, and our experience was more than we anticipated. The crab toast is to die for! The food and service was delightful! We can’t wait to return to Tredici Enoteca.
Food was very good. We had tuna and a Joey Flathead. Limited menu. But it's in a hotel, and we might have been the only people eating. We were eating before a 7:15 movie, but it was a Friday night, and there was still no one else by the time we left.
I liked it, except that across from where I was seated there was a large screen tv that played infomercials the whole time I was there. Not the classiest thing
The plus side first: rustic elegance at the bar and the two levels of dining space. The minus side: horrible, inedible food. We ordered the crab pasta and the chicken, and the pasta was not only absent much crab but absent all flavor. The chicken, while cooked appropriately, was in a strange and sweet sauce that was awful. We had each had a few bites of each dish and stopped. Neither of us liked either entree. Our plates looked just like they did when they were brought to us. As we sat there for 10 minutes not touching our food, no one asked how we liked the meal. When I asked for the check, the waiter saw our plates and inquired if we wanted take out containers. When I said no, he simply walked away to get the check. That's bad service, too. Whenever wait staff sees that customers haven't touched their food, they should ask the customers why. I paid the check, left all that food on the table and went down the street to Meiwah for dinner. Diner beware.
Quiet, superb service. We never felt hurried but our needs were always met. Food was good and plentiful.
We were initially disappointed that the bar area was closed due to a private party, but after being seated elsewhere we were quickly smitten by the ambiance, food selection and service! Perfect for a date night!
Beautiful decor and a helpful wait staff. They were out of the first wine we ordered. The appetizers were delightful, but the entrees left a lot to be desired. For the price, definitely not worth the experience.
Terrible service. Never even got to the food part. Was nearly 40 minutes before being brought drinks. There were only 2 other tables with customers.
The appetizers were great, in particular the mushroom & fava beans. The main dishes were ok. The blond bartender was outstanding.
