Restaurant website suggests that the menu has gluten free options. Indicated on my OpenTable reservation that one guest was gluten free, and called and left a message to be sure this would be accommodated for. Called again with no answer the next day. Was never called back, and this guest was not accommodated for while we were there. Food was fine, but not memorable. Service was very good, but overall would not recommend.
After confirming this reservation the day before, we showed up for the reservation, and the restaurant was closed. I cannot say how disappointed I am in Open Table and Tredici for this experience on Christmas Day. Get your facts straight
Order the ricotta cheese and spaghetti squash from the starters menu. The flatbread was delicious. The green beans were too spicy for me, but I don't do well with spice. The lasagna was not what we expected, and it was cold in the middle.
Had a lovely work lunch. Quiet, nice view. Good pasta and lots of vegetarian options.
I had the crab crostini and pasta with a pork ragu sauce - both were excellent! I liked the ambiance, which is warm and cozy. The service was attentive and friendly.
Our waitress was very professional and friendly, and the food was delicious!
The spaghetti squash was my favorite thing we ate, which surprised me as I often find spaghetti squash a bit boring. Tied with that was the squid ink pasta - the sauce was rich and creamy and spicy but still maintained the delicate flavor of the clams. The chicken meatballs were another dish that sounded potentially bland but tasted delicious and had unusual (but good) seasoning.
The gnocchi with vodka sauce were a bit dull. The chicken parmesan was uniquely formatted - easier to eat than most! - but also nothing too exciting. Arugula salad was pretty standard but good.
Good food & wine. Service was scattered and slow.
Was extremely disappointed; only one other diner there, no table cloths, no style in presentation or serving. As a couple, we ordered one starter (for one of us) and a plate each. The starter came for my wife and was unceremoniously "plonked" on the table and was promptly followed by her main course. I sat watching my partner eat for some time before my plate arrived. The food was ordinary to say the least. I will admit, when I mentioned this delay the waiter eventually returned (after being initially defensive), apologized and offered desserts on him.
Within an hour we were out of there!
