LOVED this place. We split the ricotta (YUM! And that flatbread...sooo good), oysters, a meat & cheese board, the beet salad, and tiramisu for dessert. We came here because it was close to our hotel, but was blown away by the ambiance and delicious food. Highly recommend!!
The squid ink tonarelli was great! It’s a good portion and isn’t too heavy. 5stars for the ambience :)
Such a gorgeous hotel and ambiance. The service was top notch. We had a group of 5 and shared so many different dishes and desserts. Everything was divine! The cocktails were also delicious and extremely well-balanced. I look forward to coming back here.
The service, ambiance and food was amazing! Def. will be going back :)
Loved EVERYTHING about this place! Definitely going to bookmark it for the future.
As a steak lover I was disappointed that the only beef on the menu was a hamburger.
Not a huge fry fan but theirs were amazing.
recommended by a client, I joined her for lunch. My meeting was very non- productive as I had to continuously track down the waiter for service. 10 minutes sitting with no engagement and there was only 1 other table. It continued with error in ordering, no water refills and then I had to literally get up and ask for my check.
The food was incredible!! The pancetta appetizer and the bacon wrapped dates were out of this world! The service was incredible as well!
Ordered the cheese and meat tray. 2 hard cheeses so nothing to spread and basically Genoa salmon I and prosciutto. Wasn’t worth $24. We decided not to order entrees and went somewhere else for our main meal.
I made a reservation for 3, but was told when we arrived that they had a private event in the dining room. Not sure if that was OT fault or TE fault. We sat in the bar area and it was comfortable enough but not for more than 3 people. We ordered a number of small plates, including the spaghetti squash and the brussel sprouts. Very good! Also had the beet salad. Wine selection was not that great, but overall a nice place and I will return.
Restaurant website suggests that the menu has gluten free options. Indicated on my OpenTable reservation that one guest was gluten free, and called and left a message to be sure this would be accommodated for. Called again with no answer the next day. Was never called back, and this guest was not accommodated for while we were there. Food was fine, but not memorable. Service was very good, but overall would not recommend.
Excellent gluten free options
After confirming this reservation the day before, we showed up for the reservation, and the restaurant was closed. I cannot say how disappointed I am in Open Table and Tredici for this experience on Christmas Day. Get your facts straight
Order the ricotta cheese and spaghetti squash from the starters menu. The flatbread was delicious. The green beans were too spicy for me, but I don't do well with spice. The lasagna was not what we expected, and it was cold in the middle.
Had a lovely work lunch. Quiet, nice view. Good pasta and lots of vegetarian options.
I had the crab crostini and pasta with a pork ragu sauce - both were excellent! I liked the ambiance, which is warm and cozy. The service was attentive and friendly.
Our waitress was very professional and friendly, and the food was delicious!
The spaghetti squash was my favorite thing we ate, which surprised me as I often find spaghetti squash a bit boring. Tied with that was the squid ink pasta - the sauce was rich and creamy and spicy but still maintained the delicate flavor of the clams. The chicken meatballs were another dish that sounded potentially bland but tasted delicious and had unusual (but good) seasoning.
The gnocchi with vodka sauce were a bit dull. The chicken parmesan was uniquely formatted - easier to eat than most! - but also nothing too exciting. Arugula salad was pretty standard but good.
Good food & wine. Service was scattered and slow.
Was extremely disappointed; only one other diner there, no table cloths, no style in presentation or serving. As a couple, we ordered one starter (for one of us) and a plate each. The starter came for my wife and was unceremoniously "plonked" on the table and was promptly followed by her main course. I sat watching my partner eat for some time before my plate arrived. The food was ordinary to say the least. I will admit, when I mentioned this delay the waiter eventually returned (after being initially defensive), apologized and offered desserts on him.
Within an hour we were out of there!
Really cool cocktails. Great selection of veggie dishes. Amazing eggplant Parmesan!
This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. I love the relaxed yet modern feel of this place – like a dining room in a chic friends home. The fettuccine with pork was amazing (tasted like my Italian grandmothers cooking). The chicken meatballs were so tender, and we also had the broccoli avocado salad, and the Moroccan spice ribs - delicious. The food came out as it was ready as this is a tasting style restaurant, and the service was friendly. We definitely would return to try more dishes.
Great little spot in the St.gregory. Good wine list. We shared some small plates and everything was very good.
Hidden gem in the St. Gregory Hotel. The Mushroom Toast was truly one of the best mushroom related dishes I have ever had and the Spinach Gnocchi was excellent. Good value for money, well designed interior and a very relaxed environment made for a great lunch.
Tredici Enoteca is a solid restaurant. It isn't spectacular, but it's solid Italian at a decent price. It's a good addition to an area that doesn't have a lot of well priced good places to have a sit down lunch. It's also a lot better than what it replaced (M Street Lounge or something like that).
Food was delicious. We had a late reservation but they accommodated us very nicely. Our server was great and the chocolate mousse was delish!!!!!
Amazing food! Nice vegetable options! Everything we had was AMAZING and very well executed!!!
I have Celiac disease and called ahead of making a reservation to ensure that there would be gluten free items on the menu, AND that those gluten free items could be prepared separately in the kitchen. I was assured multiple times by the woman on the phone that my gluten free needs could be accommodated, and so I excitedly made a reservation. Upon arriving for dinner, I asked my server to inquire with the kitchen about a handful of dishes to see if these could be prepared gluten free. The executive chef walked out and told me that there is flour all over their kitchen, and he couldn’t in good conscience tell me anything at all could be prepared gluten free. I appreciated his honesty, but the restaurant staff should be better informed when people call with serious dietary inquiries. We had to leave the restaurant and find somewhere else to eat.
I always enjoy my time at Tredici. There have been a couple of times where the service was a little slow (not this time around) but they make up for it with a good wine list and delicious food. The overall look and ambiance are also pluses - multiple steps up from the old M Street Bar & Grill!
