Tredici Enoteca - Philadelphia
This was my second time there, I remember loving it the first time, though I can't remember what I ate, we sat in the front room which was quiet with tables well spaced.
The second time we sat in the more cramped back room and I wasn't nearly as impressed by any of the food. The Greek salad had far too little feta and tomatoes chunks that were just too large and could have used some more of something. The portions in general were too large for how pedestrian the food was, if you're going to gorge yourself the food has to be tasty to the last bite - of the four of us I don't think any of us finished our entrees.
It wasn't necessarily bad but for $120 it should have been better.
We had a really bad experience! Having arrived at 5 pm and making sure the wait staff knew that we had to be at the theater at 7 pm, we ordered hors d'oeuvres immediately and main courses 15 minutes later. We asked the waiter every 10 - 12 mins about our food. At 5:30 pm, he said our hors d'oeuvres "would be right out" (not true) and at 5:50 pm the manager came to our table to say that the restaurant's WiFi was down and that the kitchen had not received any orders - so no food. The situation was, to our minds, quite unimaginable - how did the kitchen not ask why there were no orders? To add insult to injury, the manager did not offer to comp anything - not the missing hors d'oeuvres, not a drink, nada. I can't rate the food that evening because I didn't get any.
Fabulous food. Great service. Very reasonable prices. The happy hour drinks and menu is one of the best bargains in the city, and delicious s well.
Amazing food. Yummy. Morocco ribs.
Come here all the time and will be back!
An incredible experience and meal. We enjoyed the share plates to have the opportunity to try more things.
Food was wonderful as were the drinks but our waitress was very snooty. Even after she admitted to forgetting to put the appetizer order in which came out well after our dinner plates were served she never apologized or seemed to care or acknowledge she made a mistake.
Overall, we had a great time here. The food was excellent and their happy hour appetizer menu was very good. The spare ribs and chicken meatballs are a must try! I had the scallops for dinner and they were cooked perfectly too. The only downside to our experience was our server. She was not very attentive to our table and came off rude.
This was our first time dining at Tredici Enoteca and it definitely will not be our last. We enjoyed our entire meal from beginning to end (started with the crab cakes, cheesesteaks, short ribs, kale & beet salads along with crab pasta and finished with vanilla sorbet). The food was uniquely prepared and delicious.
Went for lunch, absolutely love that there's an option to have an express lunch (smaller portions of regular apps and entrees at super reasonable prices) but you still have the option of ordering from the entire menu. I was meeting a friend and she was late; they never hassled me about it, not once, nary a dirty look! Our waitress was endlessly knowledgeable and helpful and the perfect combination of solicitous and unobtrusive. The drinks were great, the service was fast, the food was superb!!! I can't wait to go back!! I recommend the beet salad and the scallops wholeheartedly!!
Great food especially the apps. Great cocktail menu and wine by the glass.
My mom and I have enjoyed the Express Lunch twice now, and we’ve been blown away both times! Great lunch spot, and I’m sure a fabulous happy hour place.
We were never offered drinks, the food was expensive for the portion size, and we left still feeling hungry and went elsewhere for a reasonably priced snack.
Fantastic restaurant with great food / modern menu and a very cool atmosphere - not too loud, not too quiet. Nice spot during the summer with the large windows to the street opened up and tables out on the sidewalk. I definitely recommend it. I also want to note the fantastic service we received when we visited. We had made a reservation for 8:30 and shortly after we arrived it was clear that our table would not be free for some time. The manager, Molly, addressed the situation proactively and made sure we were taken care of while we waited. She made what could have been quite an aggravating experience, truly enjoyable. And next time we are back in Philadelphia we will be sure to return.
Great service, very nice atmosphere, very interesting menu
We had the chicken meatballs (excellent), bacon wrapped dates (amazing), Israeli couscous (anything with burrata is a-ok with me!) and the kale ravioli (please take off the menu, it is not worthy). The service wasn't bad per se, just extremely slow. It took 2 hours for two people to share 4 dishes, which is far too long, even for a business meeting. I'll definitely be back, overall the food is too good to dismiss over slow service and one sub-par dish.
My brother and I took my mother to Tredici Enoteca for Mothers Day Brunch and had a lovely meal. The space is very clean, fresh and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere. We started out with 3 different cocktails and they were all incredibly delicious, in particular, the Paduan, for any of you Star Wars fans out there. We shared a few appetizers, where the bacon wrapped dates stuffed with manchego and blue cheese with a green goddess dip were to die for. We also shared a plate of raw oysters that were very fresh and delightful. Moving along to the main course the pan-seared scallops over the pea risotto were divine and perfectly cooked, and the kale ravioli were also sublime. I had the milanese pork chop, which was only kind of average. It was not seasoned properly and hence quite bland. I added some of the marinara from my moms kale ravioli dish, and the addition of the sweet and acidic tomato sauce totally took the pork to a new level, but as served it was the only so-so dish of the day. We concluded the meal by splitting their white cheesecake, which was also very well done and very rich, which made it perfect to split along with an aged port to wash it all down.
Very nice place! Great food and exceptional service! Definitely a place to go and enjoy yourself.
The food was excellent! Great vegetarian options as well!
Delicious food and wine, pleasant staff. Would definitely recommend for happy hour or dinner.
The 3 course lunch specials are varied, delicious and of great value! The chicken meat balls are delish!
Tredici Enoteca was a great find! The food was outstanding from the Mediterranean Platter to the lasagna Verde. We almost skipped dessert but decided to share the chocolate mousse, a wise decision! Service was excellent. We sat inside next to the open window wall. Decor is very updated and well done with a small but inviting bar area. The menu is such an interesting Mediterranean mix. Great spot and kudos to the chef!
The vegetarian, salads, pasta, and meat dishes were all tasty. Wine list was interesting. We had to wait about five minutes for a table despite our reservation but there were apologies for this. I had asked to be seated in a quieter part of the restaurant which was honored, so we had an enjoyable meeting conversing with our companions.
I love the broccoli avocado and the spinach gnocchi!
Tredici is one of my absolute favorite spots in the city! The menu has so many yummy choices and the bar is gorgeous!
Interesting menu with lots of dishes to try and share. We were in a back room so noise level was low. Main room was open to outside and had a great vibe. Yummy cocktails!
Didn’t honor reservation and made one feel beneath them.
A lot of first dates going on.
place is very cute. Food and service are really good. It is too noisy though, and definitely more on the expensive size. If 5 is a perfect score, then this place is an easy 4.
Food was great. Small portions for pasta. Super fresh, good quality
Great food and eclectic menu. Very nice atmosphere, we had a great time.
