Proud recipient of OpenTable's Top 100 Restaurants in Canada for 2024!

Treadwell offers indoor dining and outdoor dining on our enclosed and heated patio. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

During the Fall and Winter months, dinner reservations are available on Monday thru Thursday from 5pm to 730pm. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, we offer two seatings - between 5pm and 6pm; as well as between 745pm and 8:45pm (with each table allocated 2hr 30min). Please note that our menu for dinner is a multi-course, prix fixe menu ($115 per guest).

Lunch reservations are available between 11:30am and 2pm, with our lunch a la carte menu being offered. Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am

    Join us for our last installment of this season’s wine dinner series as we celebrate the rare and stylistically unique wines from Stratus Vineyards. Currently celebrating 25 years of winemaking in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Stratus is revered among the top producers in Canada. While Stratus is known for its proprietary blends - Stratus White and Stratus Red - this dinner will focus on some of the lesser-known varieties made by Stratus, such as Viognier, Sangiovese, and Gamay, alongside age-old techniques like ancestral and amphora. We will also feature a wine or two from their library to showcase their quarter-century commitment to excellence. Join James Treadwell and Stratus’ winemaker Dean Stoyka as they take you on a fascinating food and wine journey through the lens of one of Canada’s most celebrated and sustainable producers. A four-course menu, created by Executive Chef Jason Williams, will be presented alongside these wines. PLEASE NOTE: This event is being held at The Gate House (142 Queen St, Niagara-on-the-Lake), a short walk from Treadwell Cuisine.

    This is a very nice restaurant in the heart of Niagara-on-Lake. Food and service was excellent. My partner and I had the prok schnitzel, which is a very nice, tender tomahawk pork steak, nicely breaded. The meat was very tender and flavourful. As an appetizer I had the soup of the day which was a very generous portion of excellent tomato soup, whereas my partner had the pickled beet salad. Service was excellent. I would definitely go back there on my next visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake.

    We dined twice for breakfast and both time it exceeded our expectations. Service was excellent. The coffee was hot and wonderful. The food was tasty, hot and very good quality. It can be a challenge to find roasted potatoes for breakfast and Treadwell's delivered. Enjoyed the sourdough toast, thick cut bacon and the roasted tomato was a treat. Greaves raspberry jam was so good we bought some to bring home.
