Currently celebrating 25 years of winemaking in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Stratus is revered among the top producers in Canada. While Stratus is known for its proprietary blends - Stratus White and Stratus Red - this dinner will focus on some of the lesser-known varieties made by Stratus, such as Viognier, Sangiovese, and Gamay, alongside age-old techniques like ancestral and amphora. We will also feature a wine or two from their library to showcase their quarter-century commitment to excellence. Join James Treadwell and Stratus’ winemaker Dean Stoyka as they take you on a fascinating food and wine journey through the lens of one of Canada’s most celebrated and sustainable producers. A four-course menu, created by Executive Chef Jason Williams, will be presented alongside these wines. PLEASE NOTE: This event is being held at The Gate House (142 Queen St, Niagara-on-the-Lake), a short walk from Treadwell Cuisine.
