Amazing and delicious! Desara was fabulous. The chef made my wife a special began pasta dish and I had the lamb kabobs and the ravioli. We also had the hummus which was superb! We will be back again for sure.
The wait staff were very busy chatting with each other. The spacing between drinks, appetizers, main & dessert was unusually long-especially considering there were only about 5 tables with people as we were there on 3/14. The appetizers were good-the mussels were fantastic. But My husband’s chicken dish was SO DRY we had to send it back! I had the pork chop and it was good but not great. The toffee dessert was good but really really sweet, couldn’t eat more than half as started to get a little sickening. Over all we will not go back. For the prices charged, the food should be spectacular and it was not even close.
Service was excellent and usually the food is too. I eat here frequently as I live in the area. However, their recipe for caccio e pepe bucatini is terrible and not even close as to how it should taste. Appetizers were great
Food was great (scallops and salmon special). Portions were just right for us, if you have a heartier appetite, add an appetizer or vegetables. Apple crostini for dessert was recommended by our server and was superb. Service was (too) slow at the restaurant, not sure if it was our server (I think so), the bartender/kitchen or just Saturday night timing (when we went to the rooftop bar, service was much more attentive). We weren't in a rush so it was okay with us (except for getting the first round of drinks!). Would I go back? Without hesitation, yes.
We love this restaurant. We’ve been lots and lots of times. Always had good service and great food. We’ll be back again soon. ‼️‼️‼️
Tasty tapas and great service! Perfect for a date night in Milwaukee with it's great location!
The employees greeted us and were very helpful. The tapas were good and the pizza was yummy too!
Server was great, he advised us on the right dishes to order for what we were looking for. Will go back again.
Excellent drinks and small plates. The garlic shrimp and tomato tarte are not to be missed!
For three people we had one appetizer, two pizzas and one pasta. All were good. Pasta had some pieces of bone within the meal. Delicious but needed to be cautious.
Our server Mary enhanced the incredible food and ambiance. We were amazed at the quality and presentation! Wonderful evening.
Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive, and there was so much space that no one was waiting a super long time for anything. It is definitely a pricier dinner, but the food was amazing.
This was my second time at Tre Rivali and I was thrilled yet again. The lighting is perfect. Not so dark you can't see your food, but not so bright that you feel like you're in a fast food chain. The food is all carefully prepared so every bite is delectable. The hand crafted cocktails are delicious. I recommend the chicken liver mousse, the scallops, and the espresso martini as an after dinner drink.
Great food and great service
Meh. Everything was meh. Tre Rivali has, for a long time, been our favorite spot in the city to dine. tonight felt much different and not in a good way. From the host staff seemingly off their game and mostly absent from the front door, to our server who was more just Super MEH, and lastly the food didn’t even make up for it all on this occasion. The restaurant is still beautiful and has great ambiance, but it was a disappointing experience overall.
Had a wonderful meal and experience! Food was amazing! Our server was great and had suggestions for menu items as it was our first time dining. We will be back!
Overall, we were pleased with food and service. Tables are a tad too close in our section. Drinks expensive. Nice place if you want to spend more than average. One negative was check in process. Initially, no staffer ...just a line of guests waiting to check in. Had reservation and arrived on time; yet still had to wait 10 minutes.
This was the second time my wife and I dined at Tre Rivali, and both times have been phenomenal. We have loved everything we've tried, and we really love the comfortable and elegant space.
Had an outstanding dinner here recently. The food was superb as was the service. Highly recommend the Grilled Tomato Bread as a starter. It was large enough for two of us to enjoy. It reminded me so much of Spain, where tomato bread is eaten at just about every meal.
For my main plate, I enjoyed the New York Strip Steak. It was extremely good - tender and properly cooked. Two things bugged me slightly about the dish though. One, it was served on a strange wood cutting board type slab, which caused the juices, butter, etc. to run off onto our table. I was nervous I was going to have juices dripping onto my slacks. And two, the potatoes were very bland. I wished they had been seasoned.
For dessert my partner had the house-made ice cream and I had the Warm Apple-Almond Crostata, which was excellent. If you can swing it, I recommend splurging for a dessert at Tre Rivali!
Overall, we had an outstanding experience and would recommend Tre Rivali in a heartbeat. We cannot wait to return...
Menu has a terrific variety of choices, offering dishes to satisfy a sophisticated palate and that of a picky eater. Great selection of specialty cocktails.
Excellent Food. Excellent Service. Would go back again.
Great dining venue to go with friends who like food and share various dishes off the menu. The menu is creative and interesting and the food does not disappoint. The ravioli is always excellent and we've tried most of the shareable appetizers and loved them all.
The drinks are also very good!
Really enjoyed my food but service was average. Nice ambiance.
Food delicious and service very attentive and pleasant. Loved the lamb souvlaki, broccolini, grilled octopus, carrot soup! Bartender made us some delicious non-alcoholic drinks. Noise level modest, so was easy to carry on a conversation, unlike in most restaurants.
The food was spectacular.
The food is amazing!! Never disappointed and always something new to try.
Sadly the decaf coffee was a bit cool and there were things floating in the coffee. Not sure if it was something in the mug or something that came out of the pot. Also seemed a little disconnected with the service.
We were somewhat forgotten, but food was good
Fantastic food. The octopus was terrific.
Warm setting on a cold night. Grilled octopus was a delicious starter ... great texture, charred flavor, and fresh salsa verde, but pricey at $21. The marscapone cheese ravioli was phenomenal ... great flavor, right size portion, albeit expectedly a little heavy. However, the carbonara was the dud dish of the night ... bland, watery, pasta kind of gummy ... would definitely not order again. While the restaurant is large, it still felt cozy with the wood stove smell, open kitchen, and windows. Only complaint was that the seating banquettes were oddly proportioned ... too low and too deep, even for my tall dining companion.
Great food, nice ambiance and wonderful service. Highly recommend for date night, romantic dinners, or when you're just in the mood for a great meal.
Second time here and love the food. But, very disappointed in the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe. I love that dish and it's a very simple recipe. What was served here was definitely not Cacio e Pepe. Usual dish is 4 ingredients: olive oil, Pecorino, pepper and the pasta. Yours was swimming in some watery sauce with butter and something else, and loads of garlic. Bucatini was way over cooked. If you continue to serve this, I'd suggest renaming it so patrons know it's not Cacio e Pepe.
Excellent food and service. Tried the arancini, lamb souvlaki, scallops, octopus, and papardelle. All were fantastic. The scallops and papardelle were amazing.
Amazing place with amazing service! It’s the best place to go to catch up with a friend or just take a breather from life!!
We went to Tre Rivali for my birthday celebration, and had the most wonderful experience! The waiter’s suggestions, food quality, explosion of flavors, especially dessert, were all fabulous. We had a reservation, and we waited a couple minutes for the hostess to take a phone call prior to seating us. Once our waiter greeted us, he provided extensive details on every food made in house and his personal recommendations. The seafood stew, carrot gnocchi, chicken liver mousse, and sticky toffee pudding were all 5/5 for uniqueness of flavor combinations. Will definitely return!
Went for brunch and it was a total winner. Will definitely go back both for brunch and to try dinner.
Never had a bad meal at Tres Rivalie. There is no place better to dine
Terrific dinner and they kept it moving along without feeling rushed so that we could make it to the theater on time! Thank you!
We have eaten here several times before and have enjoyed it. The food was quite tasty with nice presentation. We would eat here again. Especially good pre-theater.
