I had been looking forward to getting in here forever. Everyone says the restaurant seating is better and there is one simple reason why - because no one can fit at the bar seating. My boyfriend and I are about 5’10” and neither of us could comfortably fit in the couch seat. We had one big fancy chair at our table and my boyfriend being the gentleman let me sit there. For $300+ though my boyfriend was miserable and uncomfortable while sitting and eating his food. Not sure why Tre Dita chose such strange sized tables given they have a St Regis budget but it will keep me from ever eating at the bar here again. The food was outstanding but hard to enjoy when you’d literally rather be standing. Also? I get that we are at a fancy place. I’ve thankfully been to quite a few fancy places in the city. Not sure why we have to be so pretentious though it feels as though you aren’t welcome. Maybe we weren’t dressed up enough, but the host stand made us feel like we showed up at a party where we weren’t invited. The food saves this place, the meatballs, the focaccia, the lemon linguine, and the pesto were divine. I live close so it’s tempting to see if they do take out instead!!!

By far, the BEST Italian food I've ever eaten and I've been to Italy! The food was exceptionally fresh. Even after all we ate-and it was A LOT, we didn't feel bloated or heavy. I want to come back again so badly but unfortunately we live just outside of Detroit so it's a LONG way to drive for dinner. Not to mention how extremely difficult it is to get a reservation 🤦🏼‍♀️ If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!!!!

Food quality and service are excellent and worth the price. We ate at the bar and the staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating. The food was as good as you would find at any high end restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant, food is very good, of course, as it should be, per pricing. We had a few snags with service, needed silverware at one point, one person had no plate for pasta course and not so easy to flag now someone. Overall our foursome was happy and look forward to returning.

Our waitress was very kind and attentive and the food was delicious but the overall vibe from the staff wasn’t friendly (i.e. male host/manager, those bringing out the food). Appreciation, attentiveness and an accommodating spirit wasn’t given to all patrons and it was very obvious and uncomfortable dinning.

Absolutely incredible experience! My husband, I truly enjoyed ourselves. If it was immaculate, the service was incredible, and we will definitely be back!
