   We have been going to TRB for almost 10 years and it is consistently the best restaurant in Beijing. The 6 course tasting menu was reminiscent of French Laundry in Napa Valley. Presentation was absolutely perfect. More importantly, all courses were delicious. I ordered the venison and my husband the Japanese wagu beef. Both prepared to perfection. The foie gras mousse was delicate and melted in your mouth. Caviar was delicious in the custard and not a hint of fishy-ness. Worthy of a Michelin star or two or three.

   This was a great experience, but was little overpriced (almost $500 USD) for the Christmas tasting menu. I went for the normal tasting menu (there were 2 normal tasting menus + 1 for Christmas) - it was around $200 - We were there for a little more than 2 hours. Everything was great, but I would only return for a special occasion. Also, I made the reservation through OpenTable, received a confirmation e-mail, but they did not have the reservation on record when we arrived. They did accommodate our party of 4, but I do not think OpenTable works in China, without a VPN. It's best to call the restaurant to make the reservation.

   It is an exceptional restaurant, offering a Michelin-star experience. I travel extensively and dine in outstanding restaurants all over the world, and I was frankly shocked when I had heard that Michelin had finally arrived in Beijing, but TRB Hutong had not been awarded. In any event, the food and wine, the ambience and the service will all make it for a very special evening in one of the most beautiful and spectacular settings in the world.

   Incredible New Year’s brunch at same table where my husband enjoyed his Easter brunch earlier in the year. He had promised to take me to this special restaurant during my holiday visit. The fact that they arranged to seat us at the same table was a bonus! Wonderful service, gracious staff, and the menu was spectacular.

    Where do I begin?! Delighted to have scored a reservation at the #1 restaurant in the world according to TripAdvisor! Made this my last dinner in Beijing before leaving next day back to States and TRB made it most memorable! Everything from the location (stunning & historic hutong), reception, my table in the corner with a view of the courtyard, the artistic presentation of the food, wine, setting, attentive staff, to the fond farewell was every bit worthy of why TRB is #1! For dinner, I enjoyed the Tasting Menu Selection. Each plate presented beautifully and just enough to enjoy. I literally was scraping each dish to get that last taste! Could go on and on but one must go to truly experience. From the looks of satisfied diners around me...happy filled stomachs! Since I was dining alone, I made my husband back home jealous with the pics sent and i attach a few here as well. Have to plan out the next trip to TRB and Beijing. Thank you TRB for a most delightful evening and delicious dinner!

    The experience was above our expectations starting from our arrival through the front doors to our departure in a private car arranged by the restaurant. The staff was phenomenal from the greeter to the waiter! The food was creative and delicious! One of the best meals we’ve had...any where in the world! Highly recommend!

    The food and service were amazing! We were late because we had a hard time finding the restaurant, and they graciously seated us even though the kitchen was just closing. And, they accommodated a vegetarian without any advance notice. The food was delicious and the wine pairing was perfect. I can't wait to visit Beijing again just so I can go to this restaurant!

    The place was lovely! We did not expect the place to be fancy as the outside structures were somewhat traditional and classic but when we entered the restaurant it was very elegant. The staff were kind and courteous as they always guided us on every meal and the wine pairings. Overall it was a memorable experience and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and to anyone looking for a romantic date place in Beijing. Thank you again for hosting me and my wife on our wedding anniversary!

    ランチの予約時間を過ぎて到着したがちゃんと席をキープしてくれて笑顔で迎えてくれて救われました。汗だくで到着したので冷たいおしぼりを提供してくれて嬉しかった。食事も素晴らしく、サービスも完璧。ドレスコードは特になく、ポロシャツとカーゴパンツでも特段問題なさそうでした。Ｔシャツと短パンは避けたほうがいいと思いますけど。食事の量は結構食べるほうですが最後のデザートまで食べきれず、結構苦しくなったのでメインを160gではなく80gのステーキにしておけばよかったwでも美味しくいただきました。北京でこのレベルのフレンチを味わえたのは期待以上でした。また行きたいです。
