The food, service, and the ambience were impeccable. The restaurant wasn’t that hard to find, as someone was in the street who directed us but the Taxi had a hard time driving down the small streets. My dining partner found the duck in the seasonal menu to be a little chewy, but theygraciously gave her the Wagyu steak in its place. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. The combinations of flavors were just right, and the taste was wonderful. The chef came out afterwards just to say hello. I would highly recommend it and go back. Though it was a a bit pricey, if this is not an obstacle, then it is hard not to enjoy an evening here.

Probably the best western restaurant in Beijing. The new chef has excelled with his Summer proposal. Congratulations.

Beautiful location in a 600-yr old lama temple, in a fine courtyard developed with good-looking bar, tea shop and yoga studio. TRB looks gorgeous inside as well, furnished in modern accents. Service is impeccable - Martin made good recommendations on food, and particularly for a Chinese Chardonnay (Chapter & Verse Reserve). We took the seasonal menu with wagyu supplement. Each course was beautifully presented and tasted great. We brought our own Châteauneuf-du-Pape which they served very well (no corkage for first bottle!). Price point is a bit high for the local market but the experience was very worthwhile. If anything, they deserve a second star very soon!

An unforgettable time at @trbhutong. Everything from the ambiance to the service was flawless. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience special, and the dishes? 10/10 across the board. Still dreaming about that pre-dessert… hands down the best I’ve ever had. Thank you for the magic!

A magnificent restaurant in the heart of the Hutongs, with a calm and beautifully decorated setting. The food is expertly prepared by a very friendly chef who truly deserves his star. The service is impeccable, delivered with tact and delicacy. A big thank you to Angelina for this timeless moment and her thoughtful attentions. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This is about the 8th time I have been there in the past 12 years, with a 5-year hiatus between late 2019 and now. I live in NY and travel and eat at the best places all over and this is one of my favorite western restaurants anywhere. I like it A to Z. This last time was the best it's been. Very pricey but worth every penny.
