Food, service, atmosphere were all superb...a perfect evening! Looking forward to next time.
What a lovely find! My wife and I decided on a whim to try Michael Schwartz's Traymore after enjoying his design district restaurant several times. Everything was delicious, and our server was very attentive and genuine.
Great place. I liked the new menu, and service was good. Nice seating area in the back. Would recommend.
Very poor service
very nice....Love the ambience ....service was excellet ....would recommend
We booked the reservation for dinner—arrived a little early to see we were the only table.
Service was incredibly poor and slow. The food was awful! We thought that since there was no other tables we would get great and fast service, but it was slow and unresponsive.
Some of the food was simply inedible—we just realized there was no pride of service or food quality.
Beyond impressed and amazing
Service was a little slow but the food was worth the wait! Michael does it again!!
We went because it was a Michael Schwartz restaurant but were disappointed. We didn’t mind that on a Tuesday night in the first week of March it was nearly empty but perhaps that should have been a warning. It sat on a lovely part of the boardwalk and the setting was lovely. The appetizers were ok but unremarkable and my crispy duck was salty and tough to the point of being almost inedible. I down grade the service because, although 75% of my food was left on my plate, I wasn’t asked if everything was okay. Went home hungry.
The appetizers were bland and tasteless. The main course was inedible because of too much salt.
I made the mistake of ordering the whole local snapper. They put this huge fish in front of me—head and tail still on—and no one offers to fillet the fish. The snapper was either old and/or so overwhelmed by the ginger broth and stuffing of more slices of ginger, that it tasted incredibly sour. My partner ordered the beef carpaccio and the plate was full of peanuts. Who ever heard of carpaccio and peanuts—what a strange choice. They offered no bread, by the way, a small salad before the fish was mediocre, and so was the coffee.
Came for dinner after a long waited visit with friends. Didn’t disappoint. Food and service hit all marks. Would come back next time I’m in town.
We were looking forward to trying this new Michael Schwartz "collaboration". What a disappointment. Inside was empty. We sat outside which is lovely, and had a few customers. We ordered a bottle of wine. Unfortunately that one was not available. Chose a different bottle, also not available! What!? These were not rare bottles. The manager came over and apologized. I asked what's going on, and she said they were changing up some things and offered us another very nice bottle on the house. That was the right thing to do and appreciated. Menu looked good. We ordered the tuna sashimi from the raw bar, which was the best thing we had all night. For appetizers we had the leek and mushroom dumplings....tasteless, and lobster stuffed zucchini blossoms.... also tasteless (did not taste lobster, mostly ricotta) From the Market Table we had broccolini with rice. Not bad, but odd. Wok charred Salmon was charred alright, and dry as can be! Togarashi fries were good. Would not go back and not recommend unless we hear there is a big turnaround.
Food not that special. Service was very spotty and disorganized. We had to remind the waiter about missing food. Too expensive for that level of service and food.
Very poor experience. They ran put of snapper. The servicer was not very attentive. The only Thing that arrived on time was the check!
Enjoyable Valentines Day with friends, great atmosphere, good food, very attentive staff
The food was tasty...but this isn’t a place we would go back to...think his other restaurants esp Amare are better
three dishes inedible, raw.
shaken cocktail served full of ice chunks.
Food was flavorless, bad service, no atmosphere. Very disappointing, we will not go back
Michael Schwartz has a number or great restaurants and this one doesn’t disappoint. Happy he decided to create an Asian inspired menu for the chic COMO brand. Love the Asian refined dishes leaving you satisfied but not full. Great service. Highly recommended.
Delicious food, lovely atmosphere.
Great place, great food with the best service! we spent new years eve at the restaurant and we really enjoyed our time there, they have tables inside , outside and in the garden area, we chose the garden area since we brought our dog with us. We will definitely come back.
Happy Hour had 4 choices of wine, of which only one was available. Satay chicken and stone crab are the clear winners! Don’t bother with the chilli beef, good setting nice atmosphere good service overall an OK experience.
It is always nice there, especially the terrace
They changed their menu and it is fantastic!
Baustelle war in der Nähe ansonsten sehr schön und essen war gut!
Why this place isn’t packed who knows
The food can be exquisite if inconsistent
The service is well intentioned but who can blame the staff how bored they must be
This place deserves to be booked for weeks in advance
went for a 25th anniversary. manager comped a glass of champagne for each of us and threw in an excellent chocolate desert. Way over the top from what I would ever expect.
Our second time dinning at Traymore and we enjoyed it just as much as our first time. Food and service were excellent, Chef Jorge visited with us and discussed up coming menu items and restaurant events. We will definitely be back.
Highly recommend: Lobster Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms, Wok-Charred Salmon and Miso Flan for dessert.
Limited an poorly chosen wine list for asian inspired seafood. Service was attentive to point of not necessary. The waiter basically read us the menu. Cobia was bland. Squash blossoms contained little lobster. It is a shame when Schwartz lends his name to a restaurant and it is not up to par.
On Sat nt we were the only group. Food was Ok. Floors very slippery. My husband fell down going to the bathroom. Swollen ankle and shoulder.
New menu, good food
Wonderful service with amazingly flavorful food. Loved it.
Lovely hotel. Lovely dining experience. The live music playing in the background was perfect. Not too loud. The staff is beyond excellent. Food was 5 star.
Miami Spice was great, wish there was more dessert options or different choices. Service was good, just seems a bit slow compared to other places.

Food was great, but the service was slow. The restaurant wasn't even busy, makes me wonder how service . would be with a full house. The food really was great though.
I can only speak on the Miami Spice menu since that's what my date and I chose, but everything was delicious! The snapper, ramen, and curried banana bread were true standouts. Miami Spice was a great value, but I feel the quality of the meal is worth paying the regular price.
Found in a stunningly restored Art Deco beaut of a hotel, Michael Schwartz is still killing the game with Traymore. Every dish that hit the table was a smash. Great Miami Spice 2019 menu, my husband and I both ordered from it with cocktails. Favs of the night: "Hail to the Sun" cocktail, perfect for those who like to drink but hate the taste of alcohol. It's the perfect summer / beach cocktail, light and refreshing, not overly sweet. "Pork steam bun", sticky warm bun melting around the sneak up on ya spicy pork. "Wok charred bavette", the combo of the yogurt sauce on top the sliced beef give the taste a nice creamy sensation with the savory meat flavor, broccoli was on point too with the bits of char, ok now ! Faccundo, our waiter - so polite and professional, friendly and not overbearing at the table. We had a great Friday night out. #heybebwherearewe
We went for Miami Spice and LOVED every thing about this place: decor, ambience, service, cocktails and last but not least, the fabulous food!!!

Beautiful space, creative menu. When executed correctly the food is very good however execution needs work.
