Great service and good food!!
What a wonderful experience! try the steak & frites!
This was a birthday lunch for my friend. It could not have been better. The food is wonderful and the service impeccable.
The restaurant is romantically lit, quiet and beautiful. The staff really try to make you feel taken care of and knowledgeable on the menu.
Tl;dr - hidden gems: bread and pork butter (w/honey comb) and asparagus
Food: bread with pork butter, meatballs, 6oz filet mignon, and the coffee budino.
Drink: sparkling water and zinfandel ($21/glass)
The meatballs were served with toasted bread. The meatball itself was average but the toasted bread with the marinara sauce was a great combo.
The bread with pork butter - RECOMMEND! The bread is toasted and deliciously savory. Complimented with the pork butter that’s a bit spicy. Paired with honey comb! So good!
The filet mignon was served with some sort of flashed fried broccoli and tendon. The steak was tender and the broccoli added a wonderful crunch and flavor. Broccoli was quite delicious. It was crunchy, slightly salty, and just tasty.
I had their Zinfandel paired with my filet and that complimented nicely.
Macaroni and cheese was average.
Crispy potato was good! The toppings are baked IN to the potato.
Asparagus was crunchy and flavorful - hidden gem! RECOMMEND
Great spot for a business lunch!
It was our first time here. Had a lovely time. The food was good, the portions somewhat big for such a place. The service was great and the ambience was perfect. I will come back.
Best views from the bar area
It was a fabulous experience! Can’t wait to go back!!!
The best kept secret restaurant in Chicago. From seating near the kitchen ,the attention to detail and to the level of customer service the place is simply awesome. We check in on 10/31 and stayed at room 803 Mr Silencieux the restaurant manager could not have been any nicer to my party. He even took the time and payed attention to my 3y/o daughter. I will definitely recommend this place and most definitely come back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Good food, nice atmosphere, friendly and responsive staff.
Pleasant atmosphere; attentive service; extensive menu; flavorful, nicely presented plates. An outstanding effort to accommodate Marathon guests.
The dinner and service are fabulous. The food was fresh and well prepared so that it was a delight to both my eyes and taste. The music was a bit loud, which was disturbing to both my husband and me but the hostess turned it down which made our overall experience even better.
Everything was perfect! Professional and attentive staff. Food was amazing.
Amazing experience across the board. We ordered several main entrees and appetizers and everything was delicious. Especially recommending the lamb chops and octopus. We loved the atmosphere.. it's lively but quiet enough so you can enjoy conversations with your party. We can't wait to come back!
Great service and good steak frites
Food, service, ambiance were all outstanding......will be back!
Very good, excellent staff!
Delicious food and wonderful service. Weekdays are very quiet. Food portions are generous
2nd visit to Chicago
Exquisite pairings of exceptional ingredients. Not a large menu selection, but all delicious. Good wine selection. Helpful and attentive staff.
Travelle in the Langham Hotel is simply superb! Great food and great ambiance.
Amazing food and phenomenal service!
Tomahawk was cooked at wrong temp. Steak was good but lobster was gross. Sides were almost unedible. Green beans we're raw and Macaroni taste like it came out of a box. Cheese was water down. Not worth the money. Highly disappointed!
This restaurant is a hidden gem near the magnificent mile. We have dined here about 6 times since it opened several years ago and the quality of meals and presentation was always outstanding. The variety is good for vegetarians and carnivores alike. The seasonal menu changes and never tired. The wines and cocktails are also very good. Definitly worth a visit.
We had a beautiful meal at Travelle! We'll make sure to make it one of our "go to" Chicago favorites.
The ambience was wonderful and the service was impeccable. We are so happy to have found Travelle, it was a true pleasure!
Restaurant is gorgeous and was not very busy so it was quiet and perfect for what we needed. Staff was helpful knowledgeable and very friendly. Food was excellent, great presentation.
Food is really well presented and taste delicious!
. I had a wonderful dinner at Travelle last night. From my martini at the bar before dinner to the dreamsicle desert, it as all fantastic. Your staff was wonderful, they took excellent care of me.
I do wish to book my group for December 18 at 7:00 pm. We usually have 10 to 12 guests. If the chefs table is available I’ll do that one. If not, the private area would be superb.
Side story......Since I have seen you, I have had a detached retina. I have had surgery and they put a gas bubble in my eye to keep things together while it heals. I cannot fly. I wear an eye patch. My women bartender and I had a discussion about trains. She loves to ride the rails. From Travelle, I headed to a union station to take a train to New York to attend my sons’ wedding. I had raved about the bar snacks. As I headed to my table for dinner, she handed me a bag with two cups of the snacks. Now that’s great service and great thinking.
The restaurant had a bit of a sterile ambiance so I don’t think I’d return.
Had a great meal and great service (Steven and staff). Truly amazing room. We will be back.
Wonderful!!! Food was excellent as was the service and, the view.......beautiful decor and setting!!! Cannot wait to go back❤️❤️
Special occasion dining - beautiful restaurant - great service - delicious food!!
One of my favorite restaurants for excellent EVRYTHING including quiet sound levels. Love this place, esp. Their vegetarian options (and I'm a meat eater).
Delicious, inventive, fresh food in a beautiful, elegant setting.
Our server was very attentive and personable, addressing us by name. We had the seasonal vegetarian prix fixe menu using locally-sourced produce. All of the dishes were delicious. The corn risotto in particular was spectacular.
I had a very salty app and the steaks were cold. Overall very ok
Excellent service and food
A wonderful and classy restaurant. Very innovative and beautifully served food overlaid with absolutely special service. The hotel that houses the restaurant, the Langham, is extremely well managed. The bar across from the restaurant is a beautiful riverfront space with creative drinks. Travelle is worth the effort and money to try.
We were happy to get a last minute Sunday brunch reservation for 10 people. The atmosphere is quiet and nice. We were surprised at how unoccupied it was, but it wasn't because of the food or service. It is reasonably priced and a nice spot for a family brunch. I will be back.
The ambience and service were excellent. The food was very good; wine was very good. A nice evening
