Chef Luciano Canova was born in 1949, on a small farm just outside of Rome, Italy. Chef Luciano grew up with his parents & grandparents where good food, using the freshest of ingredients, was always a staple. His passion for food was instilled in him as a small child in his home and led him to attend the prestigious Culinary Institute of Italy. After graduating, Luciano worked all around the world perfecting his craft in places like Switzerland, Germany, and on a luxury cruise line. 

The Torre Restaurant Group family of restaurants has grown to serve customers throughout Southern New England with authentic Italian food. We have eight locations, all offering different ways to explore the many tastes of Italy! Our newest location here in Mansfield, is the first location that merges all our dining concepts into one. We look forward to serving and welcoming Torre Restaurant Group to the Mansfield Community.

The service was amazing and it was so lovely sitting outside! I was a bit disappointed when the fruiti di mare only had 1 scallop in it (since that's my favorite part and i was hoping for at least 2) and there was no scallop special but besides that, it was all delicious!

Food was good as always, never a complaint there. Staff in the bar area were fantastic. Sat at a high top in the bar area and it was missing a leveling foot, which caused it to lean alot and made it awkward to eat. Also, my draft beer wasn't very cold. Small things, but will definitely be back.

Very loud, bar was behind, service never came over to check on how food was, extremely loud parties nearby and hard to have a conversation, parking was brutal and the food was sub par. I have been going for a long time and I always get the same food - this time the sauce on the "picatta" was a jelly like gravy and very little flavor. This place has gone downhill.

I’ve gone here often and I enjoy the staff, drinks pasta and pizza. Steak wise…don’t do it. Very disappointed. Quality of meat was not up to par, steak wasn’t even seasoned.

I love this place. We ate outside and it’s such a nice setting. With lights and soft music and gorgeous flowers. My only critique, is that their sauce is a little watery, I’m thinking that they aren’t fully straining their pasta or they are adding to much water to their sauce. Also you need to salt your pasta water more!! Otherwise we had a perfect evening.

Food and service was right on. I had the vinegar pepper pork chop which was amazing. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the eggplant parmesan…not to mention the freshly baked bread with dipping sauce. Wished the vegetables were warmer, but the pork chop more than made up for it. The red sangria is worth a try…very tasty. No desserts on this night-the serving sizes determined that! We will definitely return but will be more selective where we sit. The back room was quite noisy on the evening.

We were placed in the back room with two large parties and it was exceptionally loud. Our table was a table for four and they added a chair on the end where people have to walk by. I made a reservation two or three days before . The food was good but our waitress did not know she was assigned to our table and we had to ask for service.

Met a friend who recently lost his wife of 14 years. Bartender offered up several recommendations. We went with his suggestions. My friend enjoyed the chicken Marsala and I devoured a pastrami sandwich. We also each had a slice of strawberry cheesecake. Service was excellent. Noise level perfect. We will absolutely be returning to try something different.

The food and service was very good. I had the salmon with vodka sauce and my wife had manicotti with meatballs. Both were delicious. Great crusty bread too. The big complaint was the noise level. We sat in the back room. We could hardly talk to each other and it was very unpleasant. Management needs to invest in noise dampening technology.

We asked our waiter to allow time to eat our salads before our meals were delivered. This was not the case. He was very polite, nice and trying to please so this may not have been his fault, as someone else delivered the meals. We felt rushed and did not finish our salads. Also, requested light on the dressing, but the salad had heavy dressing. The mixed drink was good, but too small amount of wine. The food was so hot, it burned our mouths, usually not a complaint, but we believe it was either microwaved or kept in the oven. The bolognese was dried on the top and Mamma’s gravy dish was OK. The waiter delivered the check before asking if we would like dessert. We sat outside which was nice that they provide that option so early in the season (mid-April).

My husband had Veal with pasta, he didn't get the pasta he ordered and there was not enough sauce, but he enjoyed it anyway. It was very good. I ordered a special called Chicken Piazzola. It was very good. Although it was probably not worth the $32 charged. I had enough left over for lunch the next day. The Trattoria never disappoints, but has gotten a bit pricey.

My waitress was amazing. The service was very good from the young men filling out water to the hostess seating us.
