Have eaten here before and always a great meal but this time unfortunately the meals could have been better. Baked scrod only served with mash potatoes no vegetables. And they were out of 3 different bottles of wine we requested

We enjoyed our time @ trattoria this past mother's day. Service was great & fast. The portions were more than everyone could eat. Doggie bags for most of us! We have gone to the restaurant before & service is always excellent.

I will start off by saying the staff was very pleasant and it wasn’t their fault but we had to wait 45 min even though we had a reservation. It’s hard because we had to stand right at the entrance because it was raining and we couldn’t wait outside. Food was good. Sangria was awesome. Prices were higher than expected specials were great but when they listed them with no prices it was for a reason. My friend ordered a small piece of steak over gnocchi and we were shocked when the check came because it was $55.00 lesson learned

The wait staff was very nice and food was rather delicious. I had chicken marsala that could have been a little more tender but was ok. My wife had chicken francaise that was not tenderized as much as it should have been. Also, some chicken tendons were hard to chew through as they weren't cut out & overlooked by the chef. We had mentioned this to our waitress but all she said was that she was sorry. Didn't offer to have the manager come over to resolve the issue. We have been to this restaurant several times but this one will not stop us from going there again.

Food was good, but as others commented very salty. I do love salt and use it all the time, but they might want to reduce salt on the entrees overall. Good food, recommend requesting light on the salt when ordering. I had gluten free pork chop with peppers and mashed, husband had halibut with shrimp and risotto (he also mentioned salty but ate every bite so it was good). I had the blue cheese wedge salad and the dressing was very tasty. Great service.

The food here is incredible. We started with the mussels in a light tomato sauce- this was fantastic. We had the burrata cheese, melon and prosciutto appetizer- also an awesome starter. The entrees and wines were simply perfect. Our server was attentive and pleasant. What a great way to end the week - what a great meal.

Jess was fabulous server, paid attention but not hovering-informative -courteous-efficient ! Food was not HOT it wasn't busy so I don't believe it was sitting out -can't imagine why it wouldn't be served hot caesar had too little dressing. great job putting anchovies on side but please offer a side of dressing beautiful inside / great patio although we sat inside / very peaceful as we were there early. I will recommend to others and I will be back. Maybe consider dish covers to keep entrees hot thank you

We arrived and were immediately seated and were introduced to our waitress who went above and beyond our expectations. The food was delicious and plentiful, we all took home leftovers. The dessert was also delicious and we all left full and content!

It was my first time dinning in at this establishment. I did like the ambiance and the food was incredible. The bread with oil was yummy. The bread was really crispy, which i love it. I would deff recommend if you're in the johnston area to check it out :)

Food was good but make sure you really read the small print in your he menu. Went out to dinner for a party of 5 and our bill was almost $400. I had a fish dinner special and was $62.00. My brother in law had a ham dinner and it was $35. These were both specials but NOTHING come with the meal not even a salad. Think twice before you go. Make sure you have extra money on you to cover any extras you may have.

As usual we are never disappointed in Trattoria Romana Johnston. The food and service was a great start to a fabulous night at the theater. Jennifer was wonderful and kept us on time to see the curtain go up.
