The food was excellent. We started with the pulpo (grilled octopus & artisan meatballs (mix of pork & meat). Absolutely delicious. For entree we choose the lamb chops & the sage ravioli. All our dishes were cooked to perfection. The owners are from Italy outside of Roma. Beautiful friendly atmosphere. Had a wonderful dinner.

We had a wonderful experience at this small intimate Restaurant. It seemed everyone was enjoying the delicious food and the personalized service from this family ran restaurant. My only only complaint is that my food was lukewarm and the lighting was too bright. However, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a great little find! The food is delicious. A family from Rome runs and owns the restaurant. It’s located in a strip on Atlantic Ave.

We had never dined a Trattoria Novello and decided to try a new restaurant. We are so glad we did! This is true authentic Italian cuisine. The pasta was homemade and cooked perfectly. The bronzino was the best I have ever had and the octopus was grilled perfectly. The only thing better than the food was the owner. She was charming, accommodating and just a pleasure to talk to. Trattoria Novello is a hidden gem. Next time you are looking for a new restaurant to try, this is the place. We plan to become regulars when we are in town. Gracie per un pasto cosi delizioso. Hai un ristorante meroviglioso e dovresti essere molto orgoglioso. Ci vediamo presto. Ciao!
