Trattoria No. 10 Ratings and Reviews
Three of us convened for lunch. Two of us had the ahi tuna. The third person had the butternut squash ravioli. Everybody was quite satisfied with their dishes. The server did a nice job of letting us talk and not constantly interrupting us. The place was busy for lunch and so the noise level made it difficult at times to converse. All and all, everybody was very pleased.
I love Tratt 10. My GF and I always come her when we have anything to celebrate. We met here. It has become sacred ground for us. The food is outstanding and we have always been treated very well. Rebecca takes care of us and she is fabulous.
I highly recommend Tratt 10.
Tucked in the lower level of an old building on State Street right in the middle of the Theater District, this intimate restaurant provides an exquisite dining experience. Each course was a testament to the chef's creativity and commitment to local sourcing of ingredients. Service is excellent and wait staff are attuned to diners who are show bound.
My wife and I have been coming to Trattoria #10 for almost 3 decades. Our first visit was to celebrate closing on the purchase of our first house. All these years later the food offerings remain imaginative and most of all, the flavors contained on each dish are always exquisitely suited to each other. For those who enjoy the nuances of flavor, this is your place. Hoping this restaurant is around for many years to come.
Trattoria 10 is just around the corner from thr CIBC theater, where Hamilton is playing. We went there before the show and it made for a great complement to the show. They served us quickly so we could get to the show on time, even with an appetizer and dessert. Classic Italian rustic atmosphere and absolutely fantastic food. Must try the acorn squash ravioli!
Our server asked us at the onset if we were going to the theater, which we were. They were very aware of being prompt with our drinks, food and check for this reason.
Their signature homemade ravioli was excellent as were all the meals we ordered. Would recommend this restaurant for its food and service! It’s location in the Theater District is a bonus!
One of my favorite downtown restaurants. It is always very crowded for early dinner prior to theater, but plenty of seating starting at 7:30. Food is excellent and servers are knowledgeable. Wine selection is heavily Italian, with a large selection from which to choose, and pairs well will the meals. It is an Italian restaurant after all.
Bar seating can be available if you do not have reservations and bartenders are friendly and also excellent servers.
I have mostly had their pastas which are available in half portions and full prtions. Often I choose two half portions to enjoy different foods.
Trattoria 10 is, without a doubt, one of the very best Italian restaurants in Chicago. The food, service and atmosphere are all top notch. The raviolis starters and entries, their signature dishes, are all very delicious. The lamb entree was perfectly prepared at medium rare plus and just perfectly delicious. I'll be back but not with Arnold Schwarzenegger. A perfect dining experienced before a theater performance.
We went here just before seeing Hamilton. The restaurant confirmed our show time and had our dinners out in a very timely manner. Service was excellent, our waiter was very attentive. Food was excellent, even better was the wine selection! My husband had lamb while I had sea bass. Our waiter recommended a fine Italian varietal that matched both selections perfectly. We will definitely go again when visiting Chicago!
