Excellent lobster & butternut squash ravioli!
Also liked half priced wine.
Nice girls night out or before theatre place.
Excellent service. Dessert (budino) was a bit strange!)

We love this restaurant! We visit when we are in town 4-6 times a year. We order something different every time and have never been disappointed. Lovely wine selections. Pasta is great. Dessert is something not to miss.

Arrived an hour and a half before our reservation, so went to the bar and ended up eating dinner there. Excellent cocktails. Excellent service. Excellent food. If you are a beet fan, you have to try the beet ravioli appetizer (but note: no pasta involved)!

Meal and service were great, many of the pastas are homemade. The raviolis are made from light thin pasta, awesome.

So, we had another really fine meal at Trattoria No. 10. We were dining pre-concert--they are always attuned to asking about plans for theater or concerts. The cocktails and wine list are first rate--and I always appreciate being able to get a quality glass without the whole bottle. Also, I enjoy being able to get a half order of ravioli or pasta--this means we can try more of the wonderful offerings! Don't miss the ravioli or pasta--they are always fantastic. Menu is seasonal, so we can dine often and look forward to variety as the year passes. Trattoria No. 10 is one of the few places we order dessert to split--it's that good. Highly recommend.

My date and I had a lovely dinner. The waiter moved us along pretty quickly, so if you need a quick bite pre-theater this is a great place. I will be back...

Perfect service each time we’ve been there. Butternut squash ravioli was divine and my husband said his ox tail stew was great. Cocktails were on point. Great place to eat in the Chicago theater district!

Trattoria No. 10 never fails to satisfy. Our party of five was very happy with the food, including the octopus carpaccio appetizer and the Jonagold apple salad. Among the entrees, we particularly liked the roasted day boat scallops -- four jumbo scallops cooked perfectly -- the pan-roasted sturgeon, and house-made acorn and butternut squash ravioii, and the gluten-free penne pasta with oxtail ragu. For dessert we shared the persimmon budino and the spiced fruit cornucopia -- both very good. Our server, Lorenzo, was top-notch, and the ambiance is always great, with the feel of dining in a secluded hideaway.

For a first time visit we did not know what to expect. All our meals were outstanding and our server made sure to get our orders in with plenty of time to enjoy before the theater. We had seven in our party and everyone was very pleased that our evening started out so wonderful.

Our spinach apple salad, smoked eggplant ravioli and the branzino were all delicious. Service was outstanding! I think it might be a cozy, intimate place but sadly marred the evening we were there by an obnoxiously loud table nearby -- not much the restaurant could do about that. We are eager to go again and experience the ambiance without the Louds nearby.

As you might observe from my review we very much like the restaurant, the food and the service. On this occasion we were seated (close quarters) next to a table of four loud, boorish customers who spoiled the meal for us and at least one other couple we talked to on our early exit. The gentleman at the subject table was so obnoxious with our waiter we tried to joke with him, the waiter, to cheer him up.
I know the management has to be judicious in a situation like this but they probably lost more than they gained by not calling the group out.

My husband and I went here after watching the 2:00 pm Hamilton show. We ordered the pork belly and apple salad (the server split the salad onto 2 plates for us, which was very thoughtful), and both dishes were excellent. For dinner we had the seasonal lobster ravioli and steak, again both were fantastic. They are known for their house made raviolis, and it showed. The service was also excellent, the waiters were very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is nice, but a bit formal (probably for the theatre crowd). I do wish there were more menu options, such as more than one chicken dish, more then one steak dish, etc. But other than that, we were pleased and would definitely return.

Dinner before Hamilton. The homemade ravioli were exceptional!! We were able to order several different ravioli flavors for our dinner. Although the lobster were delicious served with baby lobster pieces in too, the Star was the eggplant ravioli!! Delicious taste in a light sauce. The acorn also wonderful and the best acorn ravioli I’ve ever eaten. And I’m Italian. Very nice restaurant within walking distance to theaters. A must!! Waitress very helpful in suggesting choices.

We enjoyed such a fabulous meal on New Years Eve. The food was exceptional and the service awesome! We didn’t feel rushed to eat our meal and we were impressed by the attention to detail that we received. The Butternut Squash ravioli is amazing! I tried the Gnocchi Pistachio pasta as an appetizer and it was great. My husband and I enjoyed the delicious apple salad. The bread is served warm and with a lovely cheese spread. He enjoyed the Lobster Ravioli dish. Everything about Trattoria 10 is wonderful! Thank you for such a great meal for our special occasion.

Everything about this restaurant is wonderful--Trattoria 10 is one of the best in Chicago. This is a favorite place for celebrations and special occasions. We shared a Field Greens salad and Octopus Carpaccio as appetizers. We also both had the Cavatelli with duck confit--Wonderful!! For dessert, the house brought us a piece of chocolate torte to share, along with our cappuccino. The whole experience, which was a birthday celebration, was wonderful. We are looking forward to our next visit to Trattoria 10. Thank you to all involved!

Cannot recommend this spot more. Food was fabulous; service outstanding. All of us could easily hear the conversation. It was absolutely perfect and was made even more special when our waiter brought us a birthday tiramisu cake. I hadn’t made anything other than a note when I made the reservation. Love this place and you will too.
