They were sooo slow and we waited forever while they were cleaning glasses to get drinks
We asked for outdoor dining and were seated in the courtyard with a beautiful swan fountain, twinkling lights and lovely music. Amazingly no one else opted to eat outdoors so we felt like we had a private dining patio. Justin did a great job serving and the food was terrific. Loved the pollo fra diavolo and the focaccia. Will definitely be back.
We liked this restaurant so much we ate there twice during our stay.
This was a “spur of the moment” meal when we returned from Universal Studios early and famished, but, boy, was that a great save for us! There was great availability, the food was extremely tasty, and service was wonderful. The restaurant, while serving high-end Italian, is mostly tourists coming back from the parks, so it is a bit noisier and informal than you would expect with the menu. If you’re at the Swan, you must go here!
Great food and service! The restaurant does half size plates for most of their entrees which can allow you to try more dishes if you like sharing your food.
Food was excellent, but most importantly, Giuseppe made our experience Magical as always! Best server EVER!!!!💫
We ordered the mushroom risotto and bianca pizza. The risotto was decent, but the pizza was very bland. It was better cold the next morning (maybe the flavors had more time to meld). The garlic bread was definitely not worth $9. The best thing we had was the focaccia (in the complimentary bread basket) - that was delicious! Overall, we didn't feel like the food was worth the price.
Service was excellent. Food fantastic: homemade gnocchi had excellent flavor but slightly over cooked to my liking, veal saltimbocca was also very good with a side of linguini. Shrimp with cannelloni beans was a fantastic appetizer!
2 Sweet 16 birthdays!!
Great file great service
Fabulous service! Very friendly, accommodating, nice menu
We love Il Mulino whenever we stay at the Swan and Dolphin. The food is always delicious.
Great food and service!!
One of my favorite restaurants if all time. We eat here about once a month when we stay at the Swan & Dolphin. There is nothing bad on the menu and the service is outstanding. Our server Christian is the best. He always recognizes us when we come and he so attentive. Pastas, seafood, meat dishes and Pizza - they’re all amazing. Recommend sharing a pizza as an appetizer and then a pasta or other entree so you don’t miss out. You can also get a pizza to go for your room!!
Great service and delicious food!
Nice experience all around. Excellent service and food guality.
I was very excited for my dinner at the restaurant, I was celebrating my birthday. Ended up having a very disappointing dinner and was very dissatisfied with the service, table, food.
To start the place was about 35% full, meaning there were a lot of empty tables. Well they sat us down all the way back in the restaurant in a corner table. Our server took almost 15 minute or more to come to the table and introduced herself, after that water and bread were served. After almost waiting 20 minutes for her to take the order, she comes and takes the orders. Then after almost another 20 minutes our food is served by another server, we ask for water and waited, waited, we finished our food and our empty plates stay on the table for like 40 minutes. Our water comes and we asked the server to please let us talk to the manager. She comes to the table, we explain the situation, she apologizes to us, and takes our bill and makes a discount on it.
My dessert cake comes, and at this time we were not in the mood , happy Birthday was sang by my husband, daughter and her husband, took a few bites and decided we just had enough, we just wanted to leave the place.
I was looking forward to eat at II Mulino, my first time and mind you that my husband was the one that recommended the place, having been to the ones in Puerto Rico and NYC and Miami.
I understand that cause of covid19, restaurant have cut employees to less than half, but keep in mind the restaurant was not full, and there were enough employees wondering around.
Will I come back again I doubt it.
My Birthday dinner was a washout thanks to a bad server.
My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience for Magical dining. The food, ambiance, and service was amazing. We will certainly come back in the future for dinner.
Loved the ambiance being able to sit out on the patio. The grouper was delicious and the staff was wonderful!
Experiential dining is defined by many Disney locations. The city flavor of Trattoria Il Mulino New York at the Swan resort next to Crescent Lake is a treat for all. Top shelf service and seating choices complimented the dining experience. Knowing that the expansive coastline of Italy has provided culinary creations that are unmatched, we decided on linguini featuring clams in a spicy white sauce and herb based crusted salmon. Chianti wine, starters of caesar salad and calamari, deserts of tiramisu and cheesecake with a limoncello finish completed our visit that we would happily reprise.
Service was great!
The food was amazing, nothing like it in Orlando for Italian. However, the comfort of the restaurant overshadowed the delicious food. Tables and chairs looked like something from 20 years ago from an old vinyl set of cheaply made stick wood chairs which had been restuffed a few times and then neglected. Their wood frames were too uncomfortable to stay too long as they dug into the back of your legs after a lengthy 3 course dinner. The base of the wooden table was so large that long legged people with high heels like me would be uncomfortable the entire night. For such an incredible restaurant, we will definitely be spending our funds on a more cozy, more ambient environment. This was loud, bright lights and zero ambiance. The service was good, but if you want real attentive service, visit the Grand Bohemian for value for money, great food and comfort. Do not give it to Disney who is obviously on a furniture budget. The hotel itself was also outdated and way overpriced for the area. Caveat emptor.
Food was mediocre at best. Server was excellent.
the service was amazing and the food was really good.
Food was excellent, the portions were really over the top. Good atmosphere, excellent service. I recommend it highly. The desert was to die for. Second time in a month there and will return.
Love this place! Every time I go to Disney I stop by!
We went for the Magic dining. The mussels/calamari appetizers and salmon entree were good. We ordered the veal chop extra and it was dry and small. Overall, all the dishes are overpriced.
We've been to Trattoria Il Mulino many times in the past, and want to assure everyone that the same great food and ambiance still holds. Our servers were caring and attentive, helping us celebrate our anniversary and birthday in a special way.
This was my first time at this establishment. I was expecting a very nice place with great food, great atmosphere, and amazing drinks. This place is extremely laid back and the prices do not match the ambiance. People were wearing shorts, flip flops, hats, etc. I was definitely expecting more from The Swan and this restaurant.
We participated in the magical dining so our choices were limited. Everyone at our table ordered different entree’s and they were all great. Salmon cooked to perfection, pasta dishes were perfect and All the portions Were adequate. The dessert portions were huge!
Overall I would recommend this establishment!
Good spot. Good food. Great service. Safe during Covid - tables had plenty of space between them
10 yr anniversary dinner. Bar for cpl drinks that were good- bartenders were quick, friendly, and attentive. Calamari app- needed some salt, decent app. Caesar salad to split - should have said yes to the fresh ground pepper offered and croutons were full of oil. I know you’re probably thinking why’d i give 5 stars: well... the salmon entree was THE BEST THING I’VE EVER HAD (i think- i can’t think off top of my head a salmon that’s been better. Husband kept laughing at me bc i was apparently making noises with almost every bite haha. Amazing crust on top, a fantastic little spicy accoutrement of garlic/spinach/jalapeño/broccoli rabe deal. husband had beef tenderloin that was also DELICIOUS with another great crust, perfect medium cook. also had half order of rigatoni pasta de funghi (mushrooms). SO GOOD. cheesecake dessert was good, complimentary limoncello shots in cute little glasses, and service was great- super friendly wait staff (Jochy and some others that assisted, but can’t recall names); would have attached photos but they didn’t do it justice so i’m leaving them out :)
One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to outside of Italy.
We did not enjoy our anniversary meal at Il Mulino. The service was poor and slow, but seemed hurried at the same time somehow? Maybe they’re understaffed, but our server forgot a few things we asked for and seemed overseated. The main dishes, pasta, and sides were under salted and under seasoned. We expected phenomenal food and were very underwhelmed and disappointed. Would not recommend.
We booked our trip to Orlando last minute and we had our anniversary dinner at Trattoria II Mulino. The food and service were great.
We had a fantastic experience there. We celebrated our daughter's 13th birthday and they made her feel very special! Incredible service and overall dining experience.
Food was OK (but then I had soup and a steak, nothing Italian. Service was good. Just nothing over ordinary for me.
The magical dining made this an extremely excellent value. The service was great, and the food/drinks were delicious.
We have tried everything on the menu at this point-everything is terrific. The GM is a wonderful women and we request Howie as our server. Can’t say enough how great this restaurant is from the food to the personnel.
